I have been to several waxing places and Waxing The City is by far the best! It is in a great location, they are extremely clean and friendly, they take extra precautions regarding products if you are on certain medication or are pregnant. I love how they text you if they have any cancellations or last minute openings too! I feel like I should gate-keep Sasha so she doesn’t book up, but she is amazing and so detail oriented! I wouldn’t book my services with anyone else!!! If you are looking for a new wax spot, this is it!

Neisha was wonderful! Shes skilled, informative, sanitary, and kind. I had never been waxed before and I was fortunate to have booked with her. The process itself was significantly less painful than I thought it would be, I didnt have any issues with ingrown hair, zero irritation after the fact, and my arm pits still have hardly any regrowth. I highly recommend her!

This location is phenomenal! Ashley is my dad’s cerologist and he is so happy with her work on his face. She doesn’t rush and does a thorough job because he has a lot of facial course hair. She explains things and also helped him with a product he’s been using. EVERYONE is more than qualified to give you the best waxing experience. I have been a few times myself and I won’t go anywhere else. The owner Bonnie is a true sweet potato !!!! There is Also a very sweet girl that checks you in upfront and she never forgets a name, face or voice!

Cant say anything but good things about this place. I was so scared to give waxing another try since the 1st time I had a bad experience (different location) but when I met Neisha she made me feel so comfortable and she has angels hands. It doesnt hurt at all when she does it. Now I look forward for my appointments with her and our little girly conversations 💕

I was super hesitant to get my eyebrows done again as I have never loved them when I go to European, where I also go for my underarms and Bikini waxes.I have been looking to switch for awhile now as I only go to them for the convince of booking from an app last minute and their package options. They don’t actually do a clean job and tend to just break my hair off instead of pulling it out correctly. The place was immaculate and all 3 people I interacted with were so friendly. Amanda (I believe this was her name) did my brows and was spectacular. She didn’t leave a single hair and gave me actual solutions to my post wax breakouts on my face rather than telling me I just need to exfoliate better. I will be coming here for all my services now, I probably won’t even finish my leftover services at Europran.

As somebody who drives an hour each way to this location, I highly recommend the team at Waxing the City Altamonte for all your waxing needs. Amanda and her team have a special way of making this location feel like a friend’s home while maintaining a professional environment. In regards to my most recent service, my cerologist (Haley) was extremely detailed and constantly ensured I was comfortable throughout the service. She made sure my pain levels were tolerable and wax temperature wasn’t too hot all while leaving me with perfect results. After my service I not only noticed how smooth my skin was but she had also done a great job of ensuring there was no mess of wax left for me to pick off.

I have recently started coming to Waxing in the city after a referral from a friend, and Ive been completely satisfied ever since! Today was my 3rd visit over a span of a 6 months. 2 out my 3 visits have been with Tari! I highly recommend Tari, she is very knowledgeable and makes my experience great every single time. She has helped me pick out products to help with my hyper-pigmentation and has given me great tips moving forward. My first time waxing. I was nervous but Coralys eased my nerves instantly. She was so friendly and we got along great. I got my underarm and leg/toes waxed and I will never go back to shaving!! I like how they give you 20% off with the membership and with your first ever appointment with them. They live up to their high-star ratings. Front desk was very friendly and attentive as well. Visiting from out of town And absolutely needed a Brazilian wax. I was blown away from the start of my visit to the very end by the absolutely genuine customer service and kind of experienced at my appointment. Taria was phenomenal!!! Please dont hesitate to choose her as your esthetician when you come to get your service. Everyone from Vivian at the front desk, to the other estheticians were absolutely so kind. My service, although people will say it was painless, I will not lie about that. However, what I will say is that it was absolutely not anything noticeable enough for me to even mention it. Because, Taria made the entire experience so entertaining and informatory about aftercare at the end of my service. I cannot wait to come back in a few months and have my service done again. This salon will be the highlight of my next trip.

Best in the city!!!!!!!!Ive been going to waxing the city for over a year now. It is by far one of the best waxing places in the city. I started off with Vanessa (who’s no longer with the company) but currently get all of my services done by Amanda who is really a gem. I’ve received multiple waxing services on different areas of the body and each time I’m never less than satisfied. I love that I never feel pressured to buy products or try new services but simply offered and reminded that they are available if ever interested. If you’re looking for a place this is it. It’s clean, the staff is friendly and loving, the customer service is a plus and they’re super affordable. You won’t regret it!

I personally give a five star to Tari, the Cerologist. My complete waxing process was exceptionally professional, minimum discomfort. Removal techniques is the best have had thus far. I work areas very clean and sanitized conversation. Very professional very warm and my complete skin care one day after no pumps no burns. Just very smooth. Like I had laser done very good very very good. I am very happy.

I have an infant about 2 months old and when I called in for an appointment, they took me in and attended to me pretty quickly. I have in the past made an appointment and had to cancel it in the last moment because the little one needed me. But this time, Bonnie helped me out in getting in and out quickly!! Everybody who works here is warm and makes you feel comfortable NO MATTER what. My fav was Jasmine who unfortunately is not with them anymore. She gave me Brazilian and made me feel super comfortable. I highly recommend this place for everyone.Things they can do better:Avoid using tweezers. I always get skin rashes where hair is plucked and knowing this, I wanted to get it waxed! Although I understand that few hair can be difficult, tweezers is just not my friend. Also, the cancellation policy is a little bit too stringent and with the baby, my schedule is so unpredictable and so, I hope they could make it a little more flexible for the clients that keep coming back.

Favorite waxing spots, The staff always welcomes me . I’ve been going to Amanda for A few months now for my Brazilian and under arm wax. And I must say she is THE BEST! She is thorough, gentle and she works quickly which makes the process less painful ! Every month it’s like a therapeutic wax session. Not only does she make sure I’m hairless she makes sure I am comfortable and on a good skin care routine to ensure I get no ingrown hairs. The atmosphere was so inviting when you first walk in. I came here to get my brows done (which I am usually picky with who I choose to do them). I have been growing them out for several months, and Alanna shaped them to perfection!!! I saw Hollie for my brows and she did a phenomenal job. My brows have always been thin and I struggle with techs who tend to make them even thinner. Not Hollie. I went to Waxing The City after a TERRIBLE experience at a well-known spa in Winter Park. I was really hesitant to go somewhere new after that experience but I was going on vacation and needed to. Sunny was an amazing cerologist-professional, made me feel comfortable (in demeanor and she was wearing a mask), knowledgeable and just over all really pleasant. The business itself is very with it-they text you for confirmation (which if you’re working, it’s definitely easier to send confirmation via text versus phone call) and because they could see me early, they texted me and let me know.
