    Absolutely outstanding service experience today at Salt and Scissors! They were pleasant and inviting on the phone, so I went in for a haircut. Sarah was my stylist and was very attentive to how I wanted my hair. She did an excellent job. This place has a whole range of different service offerings from massages to manicures, and much more. The price was reasonable, and the entire staff was very friendly. I would most certainly return again!

    I was apprehensive about finding a new hairdresser after being loyal to the same one for several months. My thick, straight hair is notoriously challenging to manage, and Id grown accustomed to a very specific style. Based on positive reviews, I decided to take a chance on Salt+ Scissors and after my great experience today I did not want to hesitate giving praise.Because I am so particular about my hair, I booked an appointment with a specific stylist after careful research. I am SO fortunate to have found Carly. From the moment I stepped into the salon, I felt welcomed and relaxed thanks to their front desk staff and the incredibly modern clean venue with beach vibes to match. Then after sitting in Carly’s chair, she listened attentively to my hair history and my desired look, demonstrating a genuine interest in understanding my needs.Her expertise is evident in her work. She analyzed my hairs texture and thickness before starting the cut - I was impressed by her precision and attention to detail. Carly clearly had a fantastic ability to create a style that not only suits my face shape but also complements my overall look.The end result was beyond my expectations. Usually, it takes a few days for a new haircut to settle, but this one was perfect right away! My hair looks healthier and effortlessly stylish. Ive already received countless compliments since my appointment just earlier today.     What a wonderful experience I had with Carly and Sarah, they were able to completely transform my hair and my extensions! From the shampoo to the hot towel as I sat with conditioner to the products used to the repositioning of my tape in extensions and styling, I couldn’t be more happy nor feel more beautiful! Ladies you rock! Not to mention the Salon is absolutely beautiful!

    Lauren Cali gave me the BEST haircut in FOREVER!! She listened to my hair issues, took the time to summarize my hair goals and patiently corrected my previous cut. Lauren taught me how to style it…. No more scrunchies! My hair is shiny, bouncy and fabulous! Salt & Scissors is a beautiful salon; I was impressed with my entire experience and how well I was taken care of. If you want a big city salon experience when you are on AMI… this is your spot!     Staff super nice and accommodating. The salon is very clean. They listen to how you want your hair cut. My hair is thin and it was cut perfectly. Thank you for a wonderful cut that was easy to maintain during those humid days during my vacation. I will definitely return when I am in the area!

    Amanda was awesome— so friendly and made sure I was an active participant in my haircut to make sure she was doing exactly what I wanted. It’s such a soothing environment and the salon is gorgeous. All of the women are so kind to the customers and make sure the salon experience is enjoyable and relaxing. Highly recommend!

    Alli is absolutely amazing! I literally brought in a wig, and she matched the color perfectly! I’m still impressed! I’ve never loved my hair this much before! Salt and Scissors is very clean, and the staff is very professional, and friendly. I’m so happy I’ve found this Salon! Jessica is an amazing brow artist, and nobody has ever been able to do what she does with them! I will always go here, and I will always recommend.

    I was visiting Anna Maria Island for the month of February and booked an appt. Lauren was my stylist. From the spa shampoo experience throughout my cut and style, she explained what she was doing,What products she was using and why. I am thrilled with my haircut and the movement my hair has! Friendly and professional! A beautiful salon worth visiting for sure!!!

    Salt & Scissors is by far the BEST salon I’ve ever been to. All of the girls there are so sweet and very professional, not to mention EXTREMELY talented. I’m used to going to barbers but Salt & Scissors has given me better haircuts than any barber I have ever been to in my life. They offer a ton of services to treat yourself or your loved ones. They are very busy, and for good reason! They’re so good. Their pricing is very fair for for the top quality services that are provided. I can’t recommend this salon enough.

    There is no better salon on AMI! The salon is beautiful and clean! I have had several different types of services and they have always been right on time. Their stylists and staff are so professional and kind. If you need a facial, Jessica is the best! And I love Amanda for hair cuts and color!

    I discovered Allí a few years ago when I first visited the island. As a visitor I was absolutely blown away by her talent. I travel constantly for work and have had my hair done in more places than I can count, including high end salons in New York and Miami. I can tell you NO ONE does a better job than Alli. Since moving to Anna Maria three years ago she has continued to impress. After years of going to Salon Salon I am excited that she has opened her own place and plan on being a regular! The location on Pine Ave cant be beat! Book here you will not regret it!

    Wonderful experience! What a relaxing, beautiful space. I had a pedicure and Shay did an excellent job. 70-year-old toes aren’t the easiest! I popped in to make the appointment and saw an amazing short haircut being blown dry. During the pedicure, I saw another highlights/blowout and 2 people were done with their beachy upsweeps to be in a wedding in a couple of hours. Jessica is the owner and I observed her to be very careful and meticulous on the safety and sanitizing efforts.

    Lauren is a skilled master. The entire salon was adorable and staffed with amazing professionals. Customer service and attention to detail was over the top. Loved this little place on Pine Avenue so much!

    My husband, daughter, SIL, and I came upon this quaint little salon (Salt & Scissors Salon) while visiting AMI. It was a hot and tiring day. We asked if we could sit on their porch for a bit and rest. As we were sitting and tasting the wonderful cheese and French bread we had just purchased, a beautiful young lady (Alli, Master Hairstylist) came out the door. With her busy schedule inside, she took the time to actually converse and welcome us. Such a sweet and beautiful young soul, so this, in itself, tells me she takes pride in her work and I know she wants nothing less than perfection to make her clients happy. I wish I lived close so I could patronize her Salt & Scissors Hair Salon. Thank you Alli, and best wishes.

    Shay is outstanding in color highlights and blow outs. She has a talent for color and and eye for for hair I have never experienced. Salt andscissors is the most professional and friendly place weve been. Thank you to the staff and my new friends atthis salon! Your a true find.

    Allie, katie, Jen, Olivia and Olivia(makeup) are absolutely amazing. I had my wedding hair and makeup done here along with all of my bridesmaids and our mothers on June 21st. Every time I walked in the door they made me feel so welcome and pampered. They set up a charcuterie board for all of us from a local shop down the road, it was delicious and the perfect snack while waiting around. To start Jen is pro at blow outs. My mom was so nervous about her hair getting frizzy from the humidity, but it lasted all night even after dancing outside in the humidity all night. Katie did my updo and it was incredible, I got so many compliments on it. Olivia who did our makeup is AH-MAY-ZING!!!!! every single one of us had a full face of make up on after hours of sweating and dancing and even the after party at the bar, it was still in tact! I cant recommend this group of ladies enough. I will be stopping in next time im in AMI!

    The salon is beautiful, clean and provides the highest quality of hospitality and services. Alli is a hair genius and Jessica does a beautiful job with eyebrows. The whole experience is relaxing and enjoyable and I would highly recommend this salon over any others in the area.
