    I’ve been going to Salon Salon for over 5 years and have been incredibly fortunate to have worked with many of their stylists including (in the past) Carson and Whitney, and (present) Nikita (who is also the co-owner). Every single one has been so knowledgable, talented, kind, generous, and overall a pleasure to work with. I drive approximately an hour from my home every 8 weeks, happily, because I walk in feeling at ease and knowing that I will always leave feeling the best and most confident version of myself. This past year I’ve worked with Nikita to try new styles for me (tape-in and hand-sewn extensions), and to return to a past fav of mine of pops of pink that make me feel like *me*. This is a long review already, but I honestly could go on for days about how much I love this place, its talented and friendly staff, and the way I feel every time I’m there. No pushy sales tactics, anxiety-free consults, kind and generous education so that I can learn more about what I can do on my own to get salon-like results, and genuine friendly people make this a must for any local looking for a new salon.

    Salon salon is a staple salon for the island and has been for nearly l5 years. Tina, along with all the stylists, really know their stuff. Do yourself a favor and make an appointment STAT.

    Hands down the best salon around. Between the awesome products they sell and use, the sweet and accommodating staff and the spa like atmosphere, you’ll be very pleased choosing Salon Salon. Nikita never ceases to amaze me with her talent. She will forever be stuck doing my hair.

    Love, love, love this place! Family owned and operated, Salon Salon is a cozy welcoming space, staffed by the most talented stylists in the area. I highly recommend Nikita, she’s an amazing colorist and has been making me feel like part of the family since I met her. Go to Salon Salon you won’t regret it!

    My experience at Salon Salon was amazing. Molly did my eyebrows and she was so kind, intentional, and professional. She walked me through what she was going to do and checked in with me along the way to make sure they were perfect. Eyebrows can go badly quickly, and she made me feel so comfortable! The salon space is also beautiful and the rest of the staff was so friendly!

    I’m a snowbird that comes down to AMI every year but never felt I could ever find a salon on the island that will care for my hair as well as my salon back home, well I was wrong! I booked a haircut with Nikita and was so happy with the results! I showed her a picture and we discussed at length the look since I hate to cut my long hair but I wanted a more modern look and she nailed it. Do not hesitate to visit her salon, it’s clean and beautiful and everyone is very sweet and make you feel at home. Salon Salon will be my go-to during our annual visits from now on.

    If you are looking for a new stylist, do not hesitate to make an appointment at Salon Salon. The staff is so friendly and the stylists are great. I personally give my hair stylist 5 stars. Go see Tina! :-) And driving over the beautiful water to an island, just to go for a hair appointment is luxurious and will lift your soul!

    I have a lot of very thick hair and have loved every single hair cut from Salon Salon! I always see Nikita who listens to my hair problems carefully and always finds a solution. She thins my hair perfectly so it’s manageable and also provides tips on how to style. All the staff are fun and friendly- it’s a great atmosphere and I look forward to every appointment! Highly recommend!!

    As a local and long time client of Salon Salon, I highly recommend this wonderful salon. Nikita (my stylist and owner) and staff go above and beyond to make sure your experience is amazing. My hair was so damaged when I found her several years ago and she has gotten my hair to the most healthy it’s been since I was in my 20’s (I’m 51)! The atmosphere is warm and inviting and I truly look forward to my appointments every 10 weeks. I love Salon Salon!

    The salon is wonderful. It has a very serene atmosphere as well as being very aesthetically pleasing. I particularly enjoyed the paintings of the local wildlife. Nina was my stylist and she did an incredible job. My hair felt incredible for days. This salon has an incredible staff, including the lovely ladies that schedule the appointments. I highly recommend this facility.

    I have been a client of Nikita’s for over a decade. Every time she cuts and colors my hair, I receive complements—sometimes even strangers ask where I had my hair done. The salon staff are all very polite and competent. And a hair appointment with Nikita is always fun.

    I’ve been a client of Nikita’s since she opened. Not once have I ever had a bad experience, not only Nikita but many of her other amazing stylist have rescued my hair from my failed attempts to color it myself. From extensions to spray tans they have never steered me wrong. My children have all had their first haircuts done at Salon Salon and we will continue to be clients for years to come.

    Excellent salon overall. Maryann at the front desk is friendly and knowledgeable about the products. Stylist/colorist Nina is fantastic! Saved me from a botched home-dye job, got me from smurf-blue back to blonde in an afternoon. Ive been a loyal client ever since!

    I had THE BEST Experience with Melissa Baker. Her professionalism was out of this world. I was very impressed with her candid advice, coming to her after having a horrible experience at another salon that completely ruined my hair. I had anxiety, she was upfront with me during the the consultation saying I will help you fix this, but I cant guarantee you will get the results you need today, it will be a process Well... she was wrong, she made me feel like a new woman today. One word for Melissa... PERFECTION and a big THANK YOU to her. I highly give her 5 Plus stars. She is amazing.

    I am new to the area and did not have a Stylest. Thank you so much for fitting me in and thank you Nina for an amazing cut and color. The atmosphere in the salon was friendly and relaxing.     Came in for a haircut with conditioning treatment and a spa pedicure. What a nice place! Greeted warmly upon arrival, offered a drink and snack. The stylist and nail technicians were super nice and I was really happy with how they both turned out. I thought the prices were were reasonable. Would definitely recommend!

    No Anna Maria Island OR Sarasota salon does better than Salon Salon! They know I like easy-care hairstyles and they do that plus great hair color. Add in pedicures and massages— I’ve enjoyed them all from their friendly attentive staff.

    We’ve used Salon Salon quite a few times for kids cuts and adult cuts. Very friendly, super knowledgeable on the current techniques and always so friendly. They are busy because they are good, so you may not be able to get an appointment right away, but it is well worth the wait. I’m never fully satisfied if I find myself somewhere else because I needed to get a cut before they could get me in. Highly recommend Nakita, the owner, worth the wait!

    I had a destination wedding in Bradenton and not being from the area, solicited suggestions from my vendors on what salon to go to for wedding hair and makeup. I was told Salon Salon was the best in the area and I was not disappointed! Not only was the salon super accommodating of us as we brought in food and mimosas, but I received the best mani of my entire life from Amanda, Michelle nailed it on all of the girls makeup and Whitney and Shelly did an AMAZING job on my wedding partys hair. All of the services were above and beyond and everyone left looking and feeling gorgeous. Thank you Salon Salon for being a part of my special day! You have the absolute best team there and I cant tell you how much I appreciate all you did for us!

    Shelly did an amazing job on my bridal hair! Ive had my hair styled countless times and this was literally the first time that I showed a hair stylist a picture, and walked out with my hair looking exactly like the picture. I got tons of compliments and my hair stayed put all night. Thank you Shelly for listening to what I wanted and making me feel so beautiful on my wedding day!

    This Salon stands out from the rest! When I started going to SalonSalonAMI, I was so nervous because I had my hair badly damaged by another business. The stylist took her time with me, looked at pics, etc. I was shocked when I left there! My hair was soooooo much better just after one appointment! That was 8 years ago!     They do such an amazing job! My hair is thick and coarse and usually an impossible mess that I bring in. It’s hard to get through it and most certainly difficult to straighten. But when they are done, it’s the best hair ever!

    I highly recommend Salon Salon. The owner Nikita is fabulous and the atmosphere is very nice. Salon Salon is exclusive with Bumble and Bumble products. They offer hair, skin, nails and massage treatments, as well as wedding services. You can also get your makeup done and hair extensions. As an added bonus you can find some fun gifts and accessories.

    .I actually go to this salon regularly for facials with Diana--she is wonderful! She is attentive, kind, gentle.....if you want to talk, shell chat with you and if you want to sleep, you can just sleep during it....one of my favorite things she does is rub your hands and feet while your masque is setting instead of abandoning you to lay there wondering if shell come back....She does a great job waxing eyebrows--mine are different shapes and shes really attentive in making them symmetrical.Shes wonderful!I also get my hair cut with Michelle; she did this really neat umbra thing where its light on the tips and reddish-dark-brown on the top. They are always cheerful and sweet when I check in and they always remember me. Love this place! Treat yourself to a facial, its SOOOO worth it!
