    Five years. That’s how long it has taken me to find a stylist in Bradenton who I like!Corinna is so kind, so patient, and does great work. She makes me feel comfortable, and is understanding of my indecisiveness as well. I never feel rushed when I am working with her.As far as the salon, everyone else is always pleasant. Especially the front desk woman, who I am sorry but I do not recall her name. She is a gem!I also find the salon to be fairly priced.

    Unfortunately my hairstylist retired a little over a year ago and right before she did I had already decided to quit getting my hair colored and go natural. So I took over a year letting it go and just trimming the ends myself. It was finally time to get a good haircut and get all of the brassy ends color cut off. I had lots of recommendations for different hairstylist but I was looking for something closer to my house. So on to Google I went. I found that this salon had great reviews. I chose Sarah and booked an appointment. The day came and I was ready. I had to make arrangements with other people to go to my appointment. I received a call that morning that Sarah was sick could they reschedule me. Ugh...I explained that I would have to talk to all involved on my end in order to make arrangements again for another appointment. She then offered me the same time but with Lucaya. I thought why not I was going to someone new anyway. I also remembered seeing her name in some of the good reviews. It is a cute salon and the receptionist was very friendly. Lucaya was very friendly and listened to what I wanted. Everything works out for a reason because Lucaya did a great job and I am very pleased with the results!!!

    Hand down best hair salon Ive ever been to! Ive grown my hair for so long and had a hard time trusting anyone with my hair. Ive booked with two stylists, Carinna and Mark. Both understood my concerns and cut my hair exceptionally well and styled it beautifully, I am forever a client at this establishment 💖

    Mark is a gifted stylist! I came in with a multitude of hair coloring mistakes from my previous stylist. He matched hair swatches to my hair and created a plan to drop in 2 different browns to bring my hair out of an over bleached mess. It came out beautiful and I like his cut as well. Thank you for rescuing my hair Mark!

    I just recently had 22 inch blonde hair extensions (JZ style) put in by Aspen! She did an amazing job with my sew in extensions. I had such a hard time moving to a new area and am so thankful to have found Aspen. I’ve been getting extensions for over 5 years have had tape ins and wefts, I took a break when I moved and have been looking for someone to help me get new extensions sewed in. She was so knowledgeable and helped me decide on the right color at our consult. I highly recommend invisible bead method extensions with Aspen if you’re looking for extensions. I know all of the other stylist are fantastic as well and do a great job with color!

    Matt has been doing my hair for more years than I can remember. I don’t think I’ve ever left the salon and not been in love with my hair. The salon has such a great decor and welcoming fun atmosphere. You can tell that the staff like each other and that feels good to be a part of. I always recommend the salon to everyone. In fact my whole family goes here.

    HOLY MOLY!!! Solid Hair cut experience. Not usually my hairstylist but came highly recommended while down in the area and needed a hair cut badly! We did a few wash cycles, relaxing experience and overall one great hair cut - captured below is the before sadly was enjoying my haircut so much forgot to document the right after photo. Good vibes, Good hair cuts and would recommend if in the area.

    I have been to this salon a few times. What a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I had Lucaya cut my hair. She has such a fun and energetic spirit I request her every time I come. She takes her time with my THICK hair. I am there for atleast 3-4 hours and she always does an amazing job. The prices are great most places jack up the price when they see my thick hair. I would recommend this place to anyone :)

    I have been going to see Matty for many years now. He is the absolute best stylist I have ever been too. He is great with color. He is patient and he listens to what I am looking for. He gives excellent, honest advice. Matt and Mark are both the very best in their profession. Their shop is amazing and their prices are competitive. I highly recommend them to everyone who compliments my hair, which happens very often. People usually notice the amazing cut and color and always want to know where I go.

    Such a great experience. Matt was awesome and very knowledgeable. One of the best cuts Ive ever had, and he did an exact recreation of a color I wanted done just from a picture. I had actually been there once like 7 years ago, and Mark remembered me and what I had done to my hair, so, they really care about their customers. Very chill atmosphere, couldnt recommend enough.

    I am giving a 5 star review solely for spectacular customer service from co-owners Mark and Matt. I went in asking for full highlights with root smudge for my natural darkening blonde hair. My stylist was newer and… shall I say.. fumbled the ball. Tears were shed. But as a nursing student, I totally understand that skill comes with experience, and these kinds of mistakes are inevitable. Regardless, Mark stepped in and did his absolute best to make things right. Not only did he calm me down as someone who would normally never speak up, but he made a point to help teach the newer stylist. He worked on my hair for the next few hours and listened to all my concerns. Major respect for the professionalism. While this experience was unanticipated, I would still go back due to the comfortable environment and caring & passionate attitude of the owners. Plus you are guaranteed to meet a small dog friend if you visit :)

    Had my hair done by Lauren. Not knowing what I wanted, I let her run with it. She did some color blending to mask my grey hairs (which I cant believe Im doing this), but the outcome was awesome. The owners were there, and they are some pretty cool guys. I highly recommend this place. The vibe in there was really good!

    Best kept beauty salon in Bradenton. The Solon is very soothing with a fun positive vibe. When you enter there are shelves with the Aveda products. The entire salon is super clean and they are taking proper Covid measures.Richard is an amazing person and incredible hair stylist.For the ladies that think this Aveda salon is to expensive for them please try it out the are reasonable no more expensive than any other salon with stylist that have the best training and expertise.Thank you Richard and entire staff at Shear Rituals

    My 1st time and I can’t say enough great things about this fabulous salon! From initial scheduling, atmosphere, friendly front desk staff…Everything happens for a reason, I was intrigued by Shear Rituals and waited to get on the owner Marks calendar! I’m extremely grateful that I did wait as Mark not only did a super stylish cut, he took his valuable time giving me tips and guidance. My hair is quite damaged from years of over the counter box color and from using too hot of heat elements. Mark…I could not be happier that I found you!!!     So, my sister went to Sheer Rituals, and had her hair done by Lucaya. Had about 8 inches taken off, plus a color, to not only even out the Mish mosh of color but to cover about 3vinches of gray. Lucky, did an excellent job, it didnt take forever, nor cost a fortune and the whole feel of the shop was very comfortable, was afraid of ot being snooty , but nothing further from the truth. Its her new go to and they also didnt do a heavy sell on products either. Great job.

    Despite my social anxiety and intense feelings of awkwardness about human interaction, I knew I needed to get my hair cut and was dreading it. Thankfully, I found shear rituals while looking around on Google and decided to make an appointment with Corinna.When the day came, Corinna was so genuinely warm, I immediately felt better when I first met her. Even though I was getting a basic shampoo/cut/blow dry, she took the time to talk with me and make sure I was happy. After doing an initial cut, she asked how I felt about the length, and made me feel comfortable enough to tell her I wanted it a little shorter, which is something Id never do ordinarily. She was easygoing and made it a great experience.Just one week before, my mom and I lost our elderly rescue dog due to his declining health. It really brightened my day seeing one of the stylists/owners dogs tap-tap-tapping back and forth, in a pride-colored outfit. The whole vibe of the salon was welcoming and inclusive. I cant recommend this place and Corinna enough, especially if youre low-key terrified of people. Im actually looking forward to seeing them again!

    Lucaya did a fabulous job. Cut, color and keratin treatment. She was approachable and interested in offering solutions about my curly, frizzy hair, since relocating to Florida. I’m used to a high-end salon experience, in a major city and while the location isn’t high-end, the service certainly is. I will be back, for sure.

I really appreciated her confirming exactly how much she was going to cut off of my length before she did it (we’ve all been there when you regret going too short!).     I got my hair highlighted by Corrina recently. She did an amazing job. I was on vacation in Florida and my mother uses this salon, so she made me an appointment. I have gotten nothing but compliments since having it done. The color she put in my hair looks great but also makes me look younger. The salon it self had nice decorations and colors and the staff all seemed nice and friendly.

    Matthew did my hair for years before I moved away and my hair looked phenomenal the entire time he did my highlights and cut. He is by far the most talented I have ever had do my hair along with bring super nice my daughter was young at the time and loved going to see Matthew. Highly recommend and wish his salon want 3 hours away (although I must say his work would be worth the drive!)

    I have been to Shear Rituals two times, Sarah L was my stylist both times. She is very professional, holds great conversations, very detailed, patient, sweet and cares about what her clients are looking for. The first time I went was for a haircut. Sarah did an amazing job and gave me the cut I have been wanting for a very long time. Second time I got highlights with balayage. My hair came out absolutely amazing. I definitely recommend Shear Rituals to anyone who is looking for a great professional hair salon.     My stylist Chris was absolutely wonderful. I had not been to a salon in several years and had been box dying my hair. She had to correct the yellow and tiger stripes I had created. She did an amazing job with the color and gave me the exact cut I was looking for as well. The entire staff was welcoming and a lot of fun! It has an energetic and youthful feel when you walk in. I showed a picture of what I wanted and she executed the master piece perfectly. Love love love love the service and the job.     I went in today to get a cut and my eyebrows does with Morgan, I couldnt be more satisfied! She did an amazing consult, gave me a gorgeous cut which I love, and did amazing job on my eyebrows. I can officially say I have found my new stylist. The salon is an Aveda salon which I love as their products are way better for hair.

    I decided to try a new salon, and was given the opportunity to have Lucaya work on my hair. I had a root touch up and cut. The salon was clean, and the atmosphere was relaxing. I saw how the owners take care of their employees, which in turn makes for happy employees. Makes me want to keep returning. It is a breath of fresh air to see a company take care of its people.     This salon is classy and professional. All the stylists are friendly and there is definitely a sense of teamwork among them. I am extremely picky and having a place I know that can get my color right has been a long time in the making. I highly recommend MaKenna.     I had an appt for my daughter for just a trim. She decided on the way she wanted to chop it off. I wasn’t ready for it. Mark came out and talked it over with us and stepped in to help because the girl we were scheduled with was running a little late and we were on a tight schedule.     This is THE BEST hair salon in Sarasota/Bradenton area! And I tried many salons since Ive moved in the area from NYC. There are many nice looking places but it is hard to find a hair professional who has skills and creativity in cutting hair. Luckily I found Shear Rituals! The entire staff is a group of attentive professionals who provide high quality service. My stylist Mark is amazing, he put his heart in his work!

The receptionist was sweet and quickly brought me a stylist named Makenna who listened to what I wanted and helped me plan around my busy schedule so make an appointment.Makenna was so kind and very confident and excited to help me make my idea come to life so much that all my worries really left at the door.The hospitality at the shop was great and the other workers stopped even asked to make sure I was doing great.Did I mention there was a cute dog here too?Overall 5 stars from me , I highly recommend Shear Rituals to anyone looking to be uplifted ! I couldn’t be happier with my new look!

    This is a wonderful Aveda salon with a relaxed and laid back atmosphere. Last week I received one of the best long hair compliments Ive ever received.... “Your hair is beautiful do you have extensions”. Nope...it’s all mine. My secret weapon is Matt an amazing master Aveda stylist and educator. I’ve been seeing Matt for over 8 years. I sit in his chair and he works his magic. I’ve also seen Mark and Jamie both are also excellent stylists.The Aveda Salon in Bradenton is owned by Matthew & Mark I love the friendly atmosphere, exceptional service and professional way it’s managed.I also like that Matt, Mark and the talented team at Shear Rituals give back to and are involved in our community.

    I went today at 6 pm Jamie made my hair cut , to be honest there are no words to describe how great she did it .     RICHARD is great. Nice coloring and highlights. Good cut. Plan in advance as it took me about 4 to 6 weeks to get worked into his schedule. Maybe you can get lucky and he will have a cancelation. Makes me young. Lol gray roots gone.
