My nail artist was Bim. I got him once and he showed me all the nails he has done and I was very impressed. I showed him pictures of nails I have wanted in the past but no nail salon was able to do them. Went in on Tuesday and I was in love with them when I left. Definitely asking for him every time. Thank you Johnny for running a freak business!!!

It is my daughter and Is first time there and very happy we stopped in. The place is beautiful and the prices are reasonable. My nail lady was very sweet ,gentle, very relaxing arm massage and my nails looked so pretty. My daughter got Acrylics and said she is very happy and would definitely go back. Place is clean and gentle and again I felt the prices were reasonable and no hidden upcharges or anything. Thank you! ( update. I had to go back and take off a star..its only been day 2 and my pointer nail has completely chipped off like a good chunk and my other 2 nails are starting to crack. I feel bc the paint was on thicker than normal. Ive never had polish chunk off like that so soon even when I do it myself so sadly I duno if Ill be back for that piece. However mu daughter is still happy and I will say our experience there at the time was divine and super nice and relaxing..so I duno..stinks bc the lady did such a pretty job but now its all coming off in chunks)

I’ve been visiting AJs for years – back when Johnny was on Bee Ridge and won’t go anywhere else! Lilly is my nail tech, and she does a beautiful job with gel over acrylic. I go every 3 weeks for a gel mani/pedi. Show Lilly the design and my nails look perfect every time! She’s fast, fastidious, and detailed-oriented.Lilly also does my waxing – which like my nails, is flawless and painless - a definite plus! I highly recommend AJs - and Lilly as your nail tech. The salon is clean and friendly, and Johnny will always take care of you and make sure you’re a happy, satisfied customer!

This used to be a salon I trusted, unfortunately the past two times I’ve gone the quality has gone down. It’s a beautiful salon and they are fairly quick however I can’t justify going anymore when my nails peel in 3 days.The last time the nail tech sped through my manicure and I had to ask her multiple times to smooth out or redo strokes as they were not neat or evenly covered the nail. She responded positively to it but they were still sloppy.It’s unfortunate I’ll have to look for a new place.UPDATE:I went back and a different nail tech completely redid my nails. It’s been a week and they are holding up much better. Great customer service, thank you.

The Best Nail Salon 💅🏻 in Florida. They are busy so its best to make an appointment with the manager who answers the phone. Although, they do take walkins, you might have to wait, but it will be worth it. I would highly recommend AJ Nails to anyone. The staff is very friendly. The facility is extremely clean. They do a wonderful job with my nails. I have been there a number of times I have terrible nails, and they always know how to take care of them. I went in one time with a nail split from the top to the nail bed. My doctor could not help me, but AJ Nails took care of it for me. I am moving further away from their facility, but I will travel the extra distance to continue going. It’s hard to find a good nail place. They are definitely a great nail place with great people.

I have been here probably 10 times, always for a gel manicure and a regular pedicure. Overall I would say it’s good, but the quality of the services very much depend on which person does your nails. I have had excellent manicures, and terrible ones. today , my mail service felt rushed and overall was very sloppy. i asked for some nails to be touched up and she obliged and was nice about it, but ultimately I left the salon with a gel manicure that looked worn in due to her filing over her work rather than re-doing the nail in question. She also was quite rough. contrasting my last time, it was done beautifully and lasted weeks! not sure I’ll be back this time. I paid $72 and left feeling a little disappointed.

I just moved to Lakewood Ranch from Georgia, and I had been having a hard time finding a nail salon. Every place I had tried was terrible (misshapen nails, sloppy polish, acrylic removal that actually removed a layer of my natural nail). AJ J Nail was recommended to me by a co-worker and I could not have been more pleased.Lin was assisted by a man who I believe was her husband. He did my hands while she did my feet. They were both very kind and professional. They cared about my comfort, and I was in and out in about 40 minutes. The ambiance was very nice, and the chairs were very comfortable. Would definitely recommend this place.

Thank God for Kim! This was my first visit after searching for a new salon. Ive used 2 other salons, both in Venice, both had great reviews and they both were horrible, one place I even tried a 2nd time with a different person and she was worse than the first!Kim took her time, explained the damage the other places did and made my nails pretty again. Best salon in town!! Ive gone to my fair share of salons in the area but for the past 6 years AJ has earned my loyalty as they simply cannot be beat! The salon is warm and inviting with an assortment of cookies, candy and drinks in the waiting area in which Ive never sat in for more than a couple minutes. The nail techs are very friendly, efficient and great at what they do. Do yourself a favor & experience it for yourself, you wont be disappointed! Cant wait to come back for the volcano pedicure!

I was able to get an appointment for the same day with no problems. Had a mani/pedi and eyebrow wax done. The service was good. I wish a bit more attention had been put on my feet and hands bc I still have a bit of dry skin, but they still look good. The massage chairs are the best! They massage your back, butt, arms, and shoulders! I noticed they had a bar with liquor bottles so next time Ill probably see what thats about. Having a drink while being pampered sounds perfect to me.

I only like to come here! Big, gorgeous salon with jewelry, accessories, and even a small boutique in the inside which Ive never seen at other nail salons. Clean and efficient.They always give the best and longest foot/leg massages for pedicures and always take their time making my fingernails perfect. Very kind nail techs. Ask for Ben or any of the male employees. Theres an older gentleman who always does an amazing job and I wish I could remember his name.Definitely try this place out, they do a wonderful job and Ill be coming here for my main and pedi for my wedding next year.

Ive only been coming here for a few weeks now and it just dawned on me that the nail techs have called me by name every time! Thats impressive! Also, they consistently deliver the best quality shellac manicure and pedicure I have ever had. It doesnt matter who does it, theyre all really really good! The folks here have a great attitude and have fun with their clients. Its a delight to come here every two weeks and let them work their magic. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Ive been going there 2 years now, top notch customer service, they staff the salon very well, everyone in there does a great job and even on their busiest days, they have enough staff that Ive never had to wait more than ten minutes and any wait at all is rare. They never charge me for a nail repair if I break one between fills. The owner, Johnny is super friendly, remembers all the regular customers names, their preferences, down to what color they like to wear! Thats A LOT of customer info to retain. He always makes everyone feel special. He has even opened a little early for me if I needed to get in before work or something. Very accommodating. Open seven days a week. I always go to the University Parkway location, have never been to the other location. They have earned a customer for life with me!

This is the best nail salon! Johnny keeps it super clean with partitions between stations. Everyone is required to wear a mask and they take your temperature and provide you with your own nail kit. I always choose this place even after trying new ones. Theyre the most friendly and helpful of all the salons Ive been to. Everywhere else is intimidating because of the language barrier and the staff who give you what they want instead of what you ask for. The techs here will listen to your requests and they also make conversation with you. I always feel welcome here and they will fix any broken chipped or damaged work.

I got my nails done a few days ago by one of the older male artists. I didn’t catch his name unfortunately, but he did not do a very good job on my full set. I had to stop him twice from doing something that I didn’t like & on top of that he took FOREVERRR. By the end I was just ready to go so I ended up leaving w/ thick, wayyy too long, bulky, UGLY nails. I was not very happy, but decided to go back the next day & have them fixed by Tina. WOW y’all. Let me just say, Tina ROCKS at her job. I 100% recommended her. She’s quick & she completely renewed my nails. They not only looked better, but they felt better. I really appreciate how accommodating they were & they did it w/o blinking an eye. They apologized multiple times & I left w/ beautiful nails which is all I can ask for. I have been going to AJ Nails for over 10 years so, obviously, I trust them to be clean and professional. Every technician there is highly skilled. Their response to the covid pandemic has been fabulous. They immediately installed plexiglass partitions between technicians and clients and between pedicure stations. They take every clients temp and masks are mandatory. I feel, and have been, very safe there.

I have been join to AJ Nails for almost 10 years now on and off but every two week for the last 18 months now and Johnny and his team a Lee always very polite and professional. They can be busy so if you dont have an appt be prepared to wait. I see the same girl every time I go and I love her! She is fast and great and always takes the time to do what I ask. Every once in a while I will get a pedicure also and the place is clean and they use new or sanitized instruments on everyone. I highly recommend. AJs.best nail place in town

I have been with AJ Nails for many years and they have made the Nail Shop very safe , they added Plexi Glass at every station between you and your Nail Tech, they also added Plexi Glass between the Pedicure chairs as well, however gloves are optional and they provide Masks if you dont have one . Masks are required for everyones Safety. Im in the healthcare field and I feel they went Above and Beyond for the Customers Safety.
