    I recently moved to the area and needed a new salon and stylist quick! I searched the area and decided to give Flying Scissors a try. I called and made an appointment with a stylist who was available on my chosen day, and what a great choice that turned out to be. Madison is an artist. My color is beautiful, my cut is perfect. She is a true professional as is the staff at Flying Scissors. I highly recommend.

    Shannon was amazing! It had been a long time since I had my hair cut and she made my hair feel so healthy again! She was extremely knowledgeable about products, specifically for the allergies that I have. I will definitely be back and will bring my daughter to her as well!

    From the moment I walked in the door this salon had a fun energy. I loved that the salon is large enough to accommodate the many stations. There is a lot of hair products for sale. I love that the salon has a receptionist to answer the phone and check clients in.I would definitely recommend the salon to others.

    Love this salon! It was my second appointment with Madison and I feel as great about my hair as I did the first time! She really listened to what I wanted and where my trouble spots were. Madison takes her time to give you the best hairstyle and color. She is so easy to talk to and has a great attitude. The salon is very comfortable and everyone seems just as nice and professional as she is!

    I recently had my hair done by Ari, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! She gave me a beautiful balayage that looks natural and vibrant. Ari took the time to listen to what I wanted, and her attention to detail was incredible. The color blend is flawless, and my hair feels healthier than ever.     This was the best haircut of my life. callie was my person (first time customer) and what i wanted was a shortish mullet (we also planned to grow out my undercut further to match up with the rest!) but unsure how it would end up bc my hair has always been long. callie was patient and talked thru everything with me. she was very gentle, professional, and a great chat too! absolutely love my haircut this is my new place and i will be coming back every time for callie! also the services are greatly priced! i was paying more in orlando for way less service.     I give a 5 for service and color. I’m giving a 1 for pricing as I was not told I would now be charged 65$ for product. When I questions the jump in price I was told they were now charging for product. I said that would’ve been nice to know upfront. Good thing I had enough money.

    Ive been coming here for years. It is always a great experience. Reception is always really welcoming and the facilities are really nice I have loved each stylist Ive worked with. Most recently, Callie has been AMAZING. Francesca styles my daughters hair and is incredible. I definitely recommend Flying Scissors!!

    Edit: I was pretty emotional when I wrote this review because I was literally attached to my long hair and I was sad I didn’t get what I felt I wanted. Please note the cut and color were not BAD.Either way, the owners worked to make this right for me and I really appreciated that.They touched up the color and cut with no additional charge.****I asked for photo 1 and got photo 2.1) looks like highlights not a balayage2) shorter than the image given, I specified I wanted my downward pointed chin to be even with front of hair. It’s at my ears3) looks like Billie eilish—not what I asked for4) cost me 400+I found something that I was willing to cut off 20” of hair for. Did not get what I wanted. At this point it’s too short for the balayage I requested. I’m not even going to bother trying to get it fixed there, going somewhere else.

    I usually never leave reviews but I honestly just have to. Carrie was absolutely amazing and I have definitely found my go to hair girl! My hair is pretty long and thick, but she took her time and was super detailed and thorough. She explained everything to me and asked all the right questions. Not only was the color and cut amazing, but she made my hair much more manageable. This is the first time I’ve ever left a hair salon actually being in love with my hair!! Not to mention she was so sweet and easy going as well! Definitely would recommend her to anyone.

    I highly recommend this Redken Elite salon. They are very professional yet friendly with clients. On numerous occasions, I have seen them help each other with clients and sharing knowledge. A great team spirit. My stylist, Alyssa, is very knowledgeable and has a passion for her choice of work. Even though I travel an hour each way for my once a month appointment, I am very happy to found my salon “home.”

    My first visit to Flying Scissors salon was definitely not my last. I didnt catch the name of the girl at the desk but she was super efficient and very nice. I then met my stylist,Allie,and she is fantastic and so genuinely friendly! She first listened to what I wanted done and then quoted me the very reasonable price.     This was my first time at Flying Scissors. I was welcomed warmly at the salon by the front desk. They quickly checked me and my stylist Taylor was able to start me early. She was wonderful!     Yesterday was the first time Ive been to Flying Scissors. The booking process online was so simple! I chose Maholy based on FB reviews. I needed some shaping and layers. Maholy took her time making sure what I was looking for was good for my face. She has such a sweet demeanor. She styled and cut my hair perfectly!     Giving praise where praise is due. I needed a new stylist, so I took a chance on Flying Scissors based on reviews alone. I was not disappointed. I had a grown out balayage and I needed a fresh look. Callie has done such a great job transforming my hair. It has never looked or felt better! I get so many compliments. I have been introduced to new products that have made such a difference on my hair. The way my hair looks now has really helped boost my confidence. I have stubborn grays and they would never seem to take color, but Callie has used her expertise to make sure I never have that problem again. I did have the pleasure of being styled by another girl, when Callie was out recently - I forgot her name and I feel awful!! But she was amazing as well!!     I seriously cannot recommend this salon enough. I felt so welcomed here and for the first time EVER I didn’t feel like I was being up-charged to oblivion. I have curtain bangs and just need them trimmed every so often without all the bells and whistles and yet every salon I tried was charging me the price of a full haircut no matter if I declined washing in the beginning or styling at the end. But this salon FINALLY listened to me and I felt like I was finally being charged a fair amount for the services I was asking not to mention Roger my stylist did a fantastic job. I loved all the cute merchandise they sell here as well and how friendly everyone was. This salon is 45 minutes from me but I will ABSOLUTELY be coming back for all of my hair needs because it’s that good.

    I had a really great experience at Flying Scissors, and would recommend it to anyone. First of all, the facility was spacious with plenty of room for distancing from other people. All the staff wore masks, and regularly cleaned/disinfected surfaces. It was nice to be somewhere where the staff clearly prioritizes the health and safety of their customers.Jessica was my stylist, and she did a wonderful job. Once my hair dried after my appointment, I realized that it wasn’t quite the look I had expected. I called the salon to see if I could come back in to have some layers/texture added. They were very accommodating, and Jessica did some more work on my hair. This time it came out as exactly as I’d hoped! Jessica and the rest of the staff at Flying Scissors are providing a high-quality and safety-conscious experience for customers, all at an affordable price. Would definitely recommend going here!

    I’ve been going to this salon for about 4 years and I get my hair cut and styled by Francesca and she always does amazing every time, I love her. But I recently went in to get my hair and makeup done for prom. Jessica did my makeup I showed her a natural look and she did absolutely amazing! She kept checking in with me along the way and asked me what I wanted. It turned out perfect. Then I went over to Rob to get my hair done. He did an updo and it was absolutely beautiful, he went above and beyond on the hairstyle and it looks beautiful I am so happy with the outcome.     Im a true believe that God puts people in our way to help us through hard times. Yesterday, I had to put my 13 year old cat down. I had been searching for a salon recently since moving to Clermont in 2020 and just hadnt been motivated to check places out. Well, losing my cat was a catalyst and I told my husband I wanted to go in.This was my first time going into a salon with stylist specific pricing. I was a walk in and by chance, someone had canceled and there was an opening for a haircut. I was placed with Kat. And boy was she exactly what I needed. She was happy and outgoing and it was just a joy to speak with her during my service. My husband said he was glad to see me laughing and being my normal self during the service. My hair is wonderful, She took off my dead ends and relayered it and it looks great. I felt truly taken care of and I am looking forward to the next time I need service as I will be coming back.

    Today I had my usual 6 week haircut by Katie. Over the past few years my hair has gone from poker straight to wavy curls. Katie always comments how beautiful they are. Katie made a suggestion that I just let my hair be curly, wavy & beautiful. I decided to give this a try. She showed me how to manage air dried curly hair along with a couple of other styling tips. I am doing what I call a 6 week challenge wearing & getting used to my natural wavy curly hair. I highly recommend Katie no matter your hair type. She’s a very talented stylist and is Aveda trained.     I just moved to the area from out of state and needed a hair cut. The haircut I have is not easy, so I was looking for a more experienced hair stylist. I found Flying Scissors through a Google search and saw all the positive reviews. I took my chances and decided not to request any specific stylist even though I saw in the reviews certain stylists referenced specifically by name. I am so glad I took my chances and let fate determine the outcome. Brandy was my stylist, and she did a wonderful job. She is a newer stylist at Flying Scissors because she also just relocated from out of state. However, she has 14 years of experience in the previous area she worked in. I feel incredibly lucky to have found her, and I will definitely be returning to her for a haircut in the future. Also, it was easy to get an appointment with her since she is just starting to build her clientele in Florida......but, I have a feeling that wont last long once everyone knows how great she is. As a fellow licensed pro with multiple decades of experience ensuring how you style the clients hair is how they normally wear it or asked for it. The color service itself was fantastic, the stylist I will ABSOLUTELY return to, and overall I would recommend this salon based on my first experience. I cant speak to technical skill with haircuts as I did not get anything but an all over retouch of color at the root. So pretty basic service but more than pleased with what I got.

    It was my first time at Flying Scissors, & Kylee was my stylist. What a lovely person! So nice to chat with, & she did a great job fixing the mess I made from my self-cut. I look forward to working with her again, & its nice to know the salon has all these wonderful services!

    Brandy is awesome!!! I need a new hairstylist since my previous one moved out of town. I actually chose Brandy because of the reviews. Her hours are also great because I needed a late afternoon appointment. She matched my color perfect and my cut looks amazing! Thank you Brandy for making my experience so positive!

    I recently moved to Clermont 5 months ago and was recommended FlyingScissors Salon by my sister. Ive been going there since. The staff there are very professional and pleasant. They make me feel very comfortable and relaxed and cater to all my needs. Louisa is my stylist and she does a fabulous job! I always walk out feeling beautiful. Thank you all.

    Im bald but my son still has wavy locks that need attention on occasion, his hairdresser is super friendly and talkative. Pricing was fair and he loves the look. Well definitely be back

    Kat is AWESOME! Cuts my hair to perfection, and blow dries it out beautifully. I recently moved to the area and was nervous about finding a new hairdresser. The salon is right around the corner from my house, and my friends tell me that this is the best cut they’ve ever seen me with.

    Love love love it!!! My first time there and I am always nervous to let anyone touch my hair (quite a few prior bad experiences)! Brittany did an amazing job!!! I will def be back and will recommend to anyone looking for a place to go! I was looking for a new stylist and place and I found them both!!! :) Everyone loves my hair!     Love the owners and team at Flying Scissors Salon- especially Janet - I have volume of very fine hair and Janet knows exactly how to cut to tame the volume but keep it from looking fine. She is also excellent at highlights and color.

    I had an amazing experience at Flying Scissors Salon from my first interaction with the receptionist (Shannon) to my last. Im in from out of town, and it is very comparable to the salon I go to back home. The salon is very modern and is very client centric. I felt right at home. Lastly of course my hair looked amazing thanks to my stylist Courtney Tompkins. I definitely recommend. coming to this salon if you are in Clermont, Florida!

    This was my second visit to Flying Scissors Salon and it was terrific. The salon was clean and the staff professional. Someone greeted me immediately, making me feel welcome. Alyssa, my stylist, was punctual and did an excellent job highlighting and cutting/styling my hair. They have a variety of hair products available as well as some pretty jewelry and accessories. I highly recommend this salon.

    I love this place! Been going for years now and started taking my son. As a toddler haircuts can be scary, but they take the time to make it enjoyable and calm his fears! I couldnt thank them more!Highly recommend Francesca and Brandy!
