I love love love Lia. I’ve been going to her for years! I am a curly hair girl and I get a blow out and cut every 6 months, my hair is so healthy and after the blow dry it’s so silky smooth for dayssss no frizz! Highly recommend going here. I go to Celia Pernia. I have gone to here ever since I moved to Deerfield Beach 3 years ago. I get my hair washed, cut, and blow dried here. She is amazing, very sweet, and does a great job! You can make an appointment online or just walk in!

I do my hair in this establishment . My hair stylist is Anna Lucia I know her for many years , she is the best colorist ever , always happy with her performance. Many times, i called her suddenly without time, and she got the way to assist me with my short notice. The owner and team are friendly , professional, and kind as well. It is a great place to go for your hair , you will be very happy when you visit them .

Another great experience at Universal Salon! I brought my other daughter in to get a keratin treatment from Celia. It turned out amazing. Her hair looks so healthy. She doesnt have to slave anymore, to smooth and straighten it. It even air dries with a beautiful beach wave. Cant wait to go back. Celia is the best!

What can I say?! Im forever loyal to Celia and her incredible hair salon! Ive been seeing Celia and only her for my Keratin hair treatment for the last 10 years (thats not an exaggeration)... since even before she opened up this super professional and chic salon!!! I wouldnt trust anyone else with my Keratin treatment or hair in general! All my family comes to her as well (mind you, we live in Miami, but the drive is always worth it!) I also recently moved to Toronto, Canada (2 yrs ago) and I still make sure to come back home every 6 months for my Keratin treatment because I dont want to find anyone new in Canada! CELIA is AMAZING! I have super curly hair and Celia does the best, most perfect Brazilian Keratin treatment for me about every 5 months. I get so much compliments when she does my hair. She is so kind and makes sure you are super comfortable in her salon- there are chargers and televisions everywhere. The Brazilian does not smell and does not damage my hair- in fact- she makes it softer and better. I now live in New York City and make sure I come to Celia because I do not trust anybody else with my hair.

Celia is one of the kindest people I met in my life! She is very talented and I have never been happier leaving a salon in my life. I went to cut my hair and get a balayage, but I was a bit worried that she would cut my hair too short or the color won’t be nice because of previous experiences I’ve had at other salons. But after I showed her a few pictures of the hair color I liked and explained to her what I was going for, she assured me and worked for more than three hours treating my hair, cutting it, coloring it, and blow drying it. I am very grateful I came across this place and will always get my hair done here! I definitely definitely definitely recommend this place!!Thank you Celia!!!

I have been going to Celia and the rest of the stylists at Universal Hair Salon for almost 7 years now! After moving from South Florida to Washington D.C. 3 years ago, I was forced to find a new salon in DC for my keratin treatment. Ive found that no place can compare in quality or price, and find that I now plan my visits home to Florida to align with my hair appointments...or maybe its vice versa. The keratin treatment leaves my hair smooth, straight, and looking healthy and replenished. And my hair is naturally very very curly.Celia pays so much attention to detail and makes sure every strand of hair is in place. I feel like anywhere else Ive ever gone Im always dissatisfied with a section of my hair or how quickly it may wash out, but never here. Every piece of the hair is perfectly straightened and its still looking great 3 months in. I find the keratin treatment lasts 3-4 months for me.Ive watched over the years as the salon has installed all the fans, vents, and equipment to make the keratin treatment a safe process. Ive also seen the process go from taking many hours when I first started getting my hair treated, to now often being in and out in less than 2 hours. I typically book my appointments many weeks in advance since I know when Ill be down in Florida, but most recently I had to book one with just a few days notice, and they were extremely accommodating and opened early for me.Going from curly hair to straight hair has been a lifestyle change for me, as I no longer have to think so much about my sports or gym schedule. Once I discovered Celia, Universal Hair Salon, and their keratin treatments, Ive always thought it was some of the best money Ive ever spent.

Tucked away in North Broward, just west of I-95,this is a vibrant, locally owned and artfully designed hair salon worthy of your time and tresses. Ive been there several times for color, highlights, Brazilian Keratin and hair cut.Celia, the owner, is a master of keratin, color and highlights and she shares her skills with her stylists for a consistent experience.I was last there in December 2013. Abraham applied the keratin to my wild hair and I questioned his application because he works so quietly, quickly and efficiently! Celia assured me he applied the correct amount of keratin and that the result would speak for itself. I pressed her but she was confident in the work that was done and offered to make right anything that was not satisfactory.After 6 weeks, it is clear she, and Abraham, did a fantastic job. All I can say is, Wow was I wrong! My hair is still straight, still soft and not frizzy. I love the blend of colors she chose and the way the color stays in my hair. And I am looking forward to going back soon for a touchup!

Great customer service and environment!! They really care about the quality and health of your hair. I had a dark brown hair and was attempting to try a really light blonde balayage. They were very patient with my hair since it didnt want to go blonde that easily. It took a couple of hours for the bleach start working, and they were all doing the best they could to accomplish my wishes. I had Jaderson as my hairdresser, and he was great!! I will definitely return to get my roots retouched and for other services. Totally recommend.

First time I went here myself last saturday. My hair dresser was Jaderson and I have to say he did an incrediable job :D. I have pretty simple requirements. 1. It be short and 2. It can grow out without it looking too funny. I let him do what he wanted with the style and am super pleased with the result. Definitely worth the money spent ($50 - first time - plus wash and blow dry)
