    Not only is the new salon gorgeous and very welcoming, but the staff that work there will welcome you into their hearts right away. Zandra is my stylist and she does an amazing job, I get hair compliments often and point them her way. Walking into the salon is like walking into a fresh breathe of southern sunshine air. ☀️

    EXCEPTIONAL, rare, one of a kind, gem stone type of salon!! It’s an experience from the time you pull in to the time you walk out. The stylist and receptionist all care about each other’s clients. I have had 3 different stylist at this salon. They always get me in with one of the ladies when I need my hair done. All of them have a light that shines brightly and are incredible talented!

    I have been going to Steel Magnolias for several years and I love all of the girls!Lauren has been taking care of my hair since last November and I have been so happy with how she does my hair. I take all three of my boys to Mikaylah as well and she is top notch on boys hair. When trying to find someone to cut my 15 year old son’s mullet, she was recommended by one of the girls there. I recently started having her cut my youngest boys’ hair and I couldn’t be happier! It’s rare to find so many talented stylists in one location that can accommodate the entire family! Plus the new location is GORGEOUS and very welcoming!

    The only salon that gets it right for a reasonable price!I’ve been seeing Lauren for almost a year now and she’s been able to take me from brunette to a healthy dimensional blonde! She does an amazing job!!The whole salon is clean, friendly, and overall a positive environment which is hard to come by!

    Absolutely love this place❤️ I have been going to Steel Magnolias back when it was Great Expressions. I have brought both of my daughters to this salon ever since they were small children. My youngest was about 3-5 in guessing, she is now also apart of this wonderful establishment. Natalie has done mine and my families hair 99% of the time, if by chance she isn’t available when I am the other girls are just as accommodating and great! After all these years I’m sure almost every lady that has been there for awhile has assisted my family. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.You walk in and see beautiful smiles and walk out with your own beautiful smile.I would highly recommend anyone of these ladies. I’m so proud of the achievements you girls have made. The new store is gorgeous.

    I just love this salon!! Lauren does my hair and she is amazing, I walk away loving my hair every time. She makes the experience great and leaves you feeling beautiful. The receptionist Marcy is also so great and helpful! Pricing is also very reasonable. Highly recommend this salon.

    I had the most amazing experience today! My hair salon canceled on me last night at 9:30pm! My hair needed help! I called this morning and they fit in with Grace who turned out to be the sweetest girl and also a very gifted stylist! Oh my gosh, I LOVE my hair and this place! Everyone was welcoming and such a beautiful environment! I am so thankful to have found this gem!!! I can’t wait til next time! Thank you!!!!

    I wish I could give this salon a 100/10! It is gorgeous inside, all of the ladies are so sweet and welcoming! I have been going to this salon since I was in fifth grade! I am now 26! A very long time! I love how they are always smiling and it always smells so good in there! My hair is always perfectly done, never once have had an issue! Prices are very affordable! Highly recommend!

    Today was my first time going here. From the moment I walked into the salon, I was greeted warmly. They offered all kinds of drinks and kept asking if I was doing OK. Grace was incredible! I told her a couple of things I wanted for my haircut, and she made it happen. I walked out of there feeling much better than when I arrived. I highly recommend this salon. It was such an enjoyable experience!!

    I switched to Great Expressions now Steel Magnolias about a year ago and it has been the Best decision I could ever have made! Every hair stylist is superb with their care and quality.     Been going to Steel Magnolias Salon (Great Expressions) for over 8 years and have never gone anywhere else. My hair has never looked better. Leah is incredible at everything she does from haircuts, perms, makeup and more. She takes the time to listen to my needs and knows what to do to make it better than I imagined.All of these women are absolutely fabulous. I can say without a single doubt, that all of them are truly passionate about every single person who sits in their chair. They all are the true definition of Steel Magnolias.     I have been seeing Leah since I was 8 years old and to this day, though I live an hour away, I still travel to see her because shes truly the BEST! Her personality is so fun, she always makes you leave feeling more confident and happy than when you came in.She recently did all the hair and makeup for my wedding, and goodness, it could not have been more perfect! She is so talented with hair and makeup, conscious of time, and her presence was so calming!I am forever grateful for her and the Great Expressions Family for always making me feel so beautiful!!

    I went today. When I called for an appointment I told the receptionist what I wanted and she paired me with Grace. An excellent pairing. Grace cut and styled my hair. She did a perfect job.     Ive never had a bad hair cut from great expressions, all hair stylist are friendly, professional and they know how to do the right coloring and styling using only the best of products. I get 2 colors to make my hair look natural and to cover those grey hairs coming in. And by far very reasonable priced compared to others in town.

    Had a great first experience with Taylor yesterday. She followed exactly what I had asked for which was a trim to prepare me for upcoming interviews. I often am not sure what to talk about during a haircut, but Taylor was a good conversationalist and led the way. Would easily return again in the future.

    Leah cut my hair this afternoon. She did a great job. I took photos of the style I wanted. My hair looks like the photos. It is hard to find a stylist who listens and actually thinks you might know what you want when you explain it to them and show them photos. I cannot tell you how many stylists have seen my photos and then decided (EVEN THOUGH they were not the ones paying for the cut) that they knew more of what I wanted than I do. Go figure. If you want a great stylist, Leah is the one.

    After my hair dresser of 10+ years passed away suddenly, obviously I was very sad because we had actually become friends, and it was painful to lose her. Also, I am extremely picky about my hair, and didnt know where to begin looking for a hairdresser I could trust to do a good job. I asked a friend for a referral, and she referred me to Dree at Great Expressions. To say I was nervous, is an understatement. However, Dree did a great job and I will be going back to her from now on! And, the prices were reasonable, the place was very clean, and the other hair stylists were very friendly. Highly recommend.

    Love it!! I inadvertently booked my first appt on the last day of school. The place was hopping. I had to wait almost 30 minutes, it was so busy. However, I was surprised at how patient and careful my stylist was despite the hectic day (I was expecting a hurried, sloppy job!). Dana asked me questions throughout the cut to confirm exactly what I wanted, and I am more than pleased with the results of her expertise! Looking forward to coming here in the future.

    Was awesome, I had recently got a hair cut a few months earlier at another place and they really messed up my hair, not only did Dree help but other hairdressers put in their opponion and gave hair product suggestions, it turned out wonderful and am going to get my hair done there for Prom!!
