I love my nails! My regular nail artist canceled on m at the last minute. I walked into Salina Nails at 12:45 two days before Christmas. They were absolutely packed. I was sure I would be turned away because I didnt have an appointment. To my surprise, they immediately sat me in a pedicure chair where I received a wonderful pedicure. They then made sure to pair me up with someone who could do the nail art I wanted. She did an absolutely beautiful job. Ill definitely be back!

Been a guest here since 2013, always a friendly greeting from the owner & exceptional job done by the techs. I’m usually a walk in, and have had so many different intricate designs done. Beautiful job everytime! I’ve also been trained as a nail tech, so I know they are taking all the correct steps!

This was my first visit to Salinas and I was pleasantly surprised. It was clean and did not have the heavy chemical smells of mist nail salons. Rachel performed my pedicure and manicure. She was caring and attentive. She did a great job. Theres nothing better than a glass of wine to go with a pedicure! I will be back and Ill definitely ask for Rachel.

I make a 50 minute drive to this nail salon 2 times a month from Starke. The drive is so worth it, no salon in my town can compare to Salinas. Me and my sister make the drive here and refuse to go anywhere else. This place is clean, friendly, safe, and such a nice environment. We love the owner lee. He is such a comedian and so friendly and pro-women. Lots of colors and styles to choose from. My favorite thing about salinas though is they DON’T HURT me. Every other salon always nicks and cuts my cuticles and skin and then my nail beds and cuticles are sore and red for days. Not here! To me the trip is worth zero pain. They’ve done long, short, oval, almond, sqoval, stiletto, chrome… anything I ask for! Forever my fave nail place!

I love and highly recommend Salina’s. The staff are friendly and very competent in all services they offer. As someone that suffers with anxiety, the way the staff treats me is very important. They welcome everyone and try to make your visit a great experience from the moment you walk in the door. Lee is usually laughing and smiling with the customers every time I have been in. I have been going to Salina’s since 2020 and have no plans of going anywhere else.

My daughter and I came in today and had a pleasant late afternoon Pedi date! Our techs were kind and efficient. Lee had us sat down so fast I forgot that I needed a restroom break after my drive there from Jacksonville.Ive been here again since the last post and of course always the best customer service gets us in and out. I had Lisa today. she was a wonderful technician.edit *** just have to say back to my usual spot after trying somewhere else and Salinas is always the best!

Would give 3 stars but giving 4 stars because I come here pretty often and always have a great experience. However, today wasn’t a good experience. I got a manicure and pedicure. The massage chair for my pedicure didn’t work which was a bummer. It’s my favorite part, one of the main reasons I look forward to getting my nails done. I’m also always offered a drink while there, and was looking forward to a glass of wine, however this time I wasn’t. After getting my manicure, I realized the sides of my nails weren’t completely painted. It all felt alittle rushed. I understand they were busy, but it takes away from the experience. We pay for the experience and today wasn’t the best. Also my sister got the same exact services done as I did, however I was charged $10 more for the same exact service. She paid $77+ tip and I paid $87+ tip for the same services and color. No add ons. I hate to complain because I really love this place, but I just wish today went alittle bit better and that the prices were consistent.

Salina nails is the very best nail salon I have ever been to. Very clean and very professional.The owner is very funny and makes outlandish jokes so don’t take him too serious. His wife Lisa I does my nails and she is superb. All the girls that do the pedicures are amazing. Highly recommended this place. If you are ever in Fleming island stop by and get your nails 💅🏽 .

I went to Salina for the first time and called ahead, glad I did because cause the place was jumping! Despite how busy they were, you truly don’t sit too long. Great atmosphere and great service. I don’t know the name of the woman who did my nails but she did a good job. I was a little unhappy with the shape of some of the nails as they seemed filed a little more on one side than the other, however, I could tell she wasn’t feeling well and would absolutely go back! I went with white tips but was truly impressed with all of the color options and services offered. Was also excited to see they have the kiddie chairs so I can do some mommy/daughter pedis next time.

Great, friendly, clean nail salon! You always feel like a regular even if you only come once in a while like me! Very reasonably priced! Love that they clean each chair in between clients you watch as they do this for you! I highly recommend this place! It can be a little busy and noisy depending on what day and time you visit!Update may 2024 still a very satisfied customer! Love the cleanliness, prices are great!

Love the salon as a whole, but today i had an awful experience with who i’m assuming is a new tech. Kenny truly just didn’t care about the nails i wanted, i told him several times what i’d like for him to do and he completely disregarded it all. not to mention he was very rough when filling and buffing my nails. the first picture is clearly what i was going for and the 2nd & 3rd pic are what i ended up with. nothing like the picture and when i voiced that to him multiple times throughout the process, he told me what i wanted “wouldn’t look good.” i wish he was honest with me on not being able to preform the work i was looking for and sent me to a new tech. not only am i disappointed in that, but you can clearly see all the filing marks through the polish. truly amateur work in my opinion.

This was our first visit and won’t be the last. My daughter got her first set of acrylics. Her nail tech was patient and walked her through step by step of each process. We all felt very comfortable with our nail techs. We were offered drinks as soon as we walked in and were seated right away. The techs weren’t forceful or rude in any kind of way. The next time we visit we definitely won’t feel awkward with any of the techs. The quality matches the price. Our new go-to salon.

Me my husband and daughter have been clients her for 10 years. I love the people and atmosphere. We have never been disappointed. They always joke around and have a light fun attitude which makes us love it here. I come have a good laugh and get an amazing pedicure/manicure at the same time. We love Lee and his staff they are very attentive to us and make sure we are happy with our services. Lee always makes sure we are satisfied and being taken care of every step of the way. We will NEVER GO ANYWHERE ELSE. CLIENTS FOR LIFE HERE.

I’ve been coming to this salon for about a year now. I’ve had both good and bad experiences which is why I’m giving 4 stars. Like a lot of others have said the salon is beautiful and is clean. The manager always greets you in a friendly manner. They have plenty of staff so I’ve never had to wait longer than 10mins. With that being said, I really feel like your experience depends on who is doing your nails. I’ve had some not so great experiences with certain staff members who were rough and seemed like they were rushing to get done. Like today, I asked the girl if she could repaint my toes bc they looked sloppy and not what I wanted. She agreed to redo them, but I could tell she was irritated about it. She was very short and rude w me while repainting them. She didn’t even ask if I was ok with the color or if I was happy with the finished results. She just said “your done” and walked away. I’ve also had very positive experiences with some of the other workers. Vahn is awesome! She always takes her time and is very attentive to what I’m asking to have done. If I continue to come here I’ll definitely be requesting her! So overall, its a good salon but just isn’t consistent with the quality of service in all their staff.

EDIT: Taking a star off because it’s really rude to repeatedly ask a customer if they need an eyebrow wax, if they’re sure they don’t need one, to laugh and ask why not, and say that it would only take two minutes. She did a great job on my nails but I didn’t come to spend almost $150 for my grandma and I to relax just to be sitting in my chair fighting back tears because my tech was laughing at me in front of everyone.I’m a mom with two young kiddos, so yeah, I occasionally need to catch up on my eyebrows. But the young lady who sits in the back right corner was so incredibly rude about it, I literally just went to my car and cried. I was so embarrassed.—Linda did an amazing job at giving me exactly what I wanted. She was fast, paid attention to detail and the salon was incredibly clean. I was offered a drink, and Linda even opened it for me because I was soaking my nails.I can’t wait to come back and get a pedicure next time, too.

Yes, sometimes is very busy but that should tell you that it is because they are good at what they do. If possible make an appointment. Awesome service! They offer you wine or a soda or water. A huge selection of nail colors and types of polish. Lee runs this place to the T!! Hes committed to excellence and achieves it quite well! The pedicures with hot rocks and sugar scrubs are amazing! On a Saturday there was a bit of a wait but not too bad. Also, and truly my only complaint, we were charged for gel paint that we did not get so maybe scan over your receipt before you leave the shop.

Lee is one of the kindest and most generous guys I know. He always takes great care of us at his place. He even comes up to us to talk when we see him out in town. His staff is friendly and they do an incredible job. Extremely clean and they are always looking out for the customers. Great sense of humor as well. Salina Nails is the only place we go for pedis/manis on the island.I’ve known Lee a long time. He jokes around allot. Anything he said that would seem weird you can contribute to him joking around.

I’ve come here many times, I’ve never made an appointment and they always get me in almost immediately. All of the employees are extremely nice and down to earth, especially the owner. He’s funny and makes you feel so relaxed while there. Lena just did my nails and I had no idea what I wanted and she set me up perfectly. She was also quick. Very pleasantly surprised! I came to Salinas today after the salon I normally go to turned me down saying they were too busy. when I called Salinas she said they were a bit busy at the moment however it would be no problem for me to come. I was greeted as soon as I came in and everyone at this establishment is super friendly. Salinas Is a bit more pricy than the others and I think that’s why I tended to choose other salons but the quality and service is definitely worth a couple extra dollars. Will definitely be returning!

I have been seeing Lee and his Wife since I was in highschool. The owner is very passionate and professional and by far the only nail salon that I like going to. The staff does change a lot so I can’t always remember who I see. But they have some real OGs and they are highly recognizable when you get your nails done. Tea is amazing and she truly does her best! For you and not for herself. I have met some wonderful women and heard their stories about how they came to this country and their struggles. I am happy they came to this country to support us. They are the American dream.

I used to be a nail tech. Im very picky with my nails. The salon I only go to is Salina nails. Lisa and Tammy are the best. But theyre difficult to book since theyre always busy. I always book my next appointment ahead but when I need my nails done right away, Lee is always make sure I get the best nail tech. The salon is always busy but theyre always take time to get their job done right. Every one are nice and friendly. The salon is Nice and clean.

Finally! A great nail salon. Ive been to dozens of the years and its been hard to find a place that is worth the drive or pay for me. This place is clean with a ton for colors and up to date services to choose from (pedicures, Manis, gel, dip powder). Attractive inside, lots of staff. They offer you water, beer or wine with services. Prices are about average for but can be slightly higher. Definitely worth it though. Ive been several times and have seen a couple different techs and never had bad service. I get the dip powder and they have hundreds of colors to choose from. I usually request Cutie when I go. Shes awesome. Thorough yet moves quickly so youre not in the chair for hours at a time. The only issue Ive had is there has been a mix up twice when Ive made appointments. But they rectified it immediately and I never had to wait long. I recommend you make appointments because they are always very busy.

Best Nail Salon in Clay County for 2019! This place definitely lives up to its name. Everything was exactly as it should be and they even encourage their employees to speak English around customers. Stephanie was legit and did a great job on my fiances manicure. Would definitely recommend and will return. It is extremely busy so give yourself some time or get there early.

I lived in Fleming for 3 years and this was the first place I went to get my nails done and the only place I went to get them done! But there is a guy (Brian?) who has done my nails twice and the 1st time he was super rough and made my toes bleed and the second time he had such little patients with me and was just rolling his eyes when I asked questions and huffed and puffed when I asked if I could change my color after he put one stroke of paint on. He made me feel very uncomfortable but the owner and his wife and kids are such sweethearts! Every other worker is super sweet and they are all so funny and everyone seems so happy!

Ive been looking for a new place thats clean, friendly, and fast. I think Ive found it! I got French tips in full set. Only took around 30 minutes after I walked in on a Saturday! They turned out great, I would prefer they ask you to make sure of certain things like color and style. I was out of it a little bit, she started but then had to change it up after she asked what color I wanted, I told her white tips not color and then later she cut my nails too square. They look good and feel tough, but I wanted round. I didnt say anything and its not a huge deal. I will definitely be back I just need to stay more alert!

I moved to the area from up north so my expectations in quality and designs are pretty high. I had to lower them a lil bit because the extra artistic things I like, simply arent available. However, Ive always been treated great here. The manager is always interested and hes recommended me to a couple great techs. They are super busy (for the most part), so of youre looking for zen, you may not find it here. However, they are accommodating, professsional and encourage English to be spoken around customers. If there is something youre not happy about, just let them know.I recommend this nail salon!

Today was my first time at Salina nails and the experience was amazing!! The salon is very clean and beautifully decorated. I had a vip pedicure with Nikki and she was fantastic. I was offered a glass of wine when i initially sat down and my experience got better and better. Nikki was so friendly and professional, u have to say the best pedicure and overall experience I’ve had!! My feet look so amazing and I’m confident and ready to go conquer the world

I drive almost an hour for my pedicures, nothing compares. Excellent atmosphere very relaxing. This past weekend my aunt and grandma came from the Tampa area and we all went together as a birthday celebration treat! We all agree it was a heavenly experience.

Great place. I called made appointment right away. They took me in really quick. Place is very clean. People are very professional friendly. I had went somewhere else and 6 of my nails were lifted. They fixed them. Ive heard very good things about them from several of my friends. Had me in and out quickly. They pay attention to detail. While there you recieve beverages for free. My nails look great! They are located in front of Walmart parking lot in small strip mall, in Fleming Island on CR220. Great place. Great prices have several different kinds nails , pedicures etc.

Came here on a whim because I had a little free time. Got the deal of the week the volcano pedi and it was fabulous! I had neglected my feet for about 2mos and my pedicurist(can’t remember her name😞) was great. Always checked in with the temperature of the water or the paraffin dip and hot stones. Salina nails has so many chairs that there usually is little to no wait time. Lots of staff ready to pamper you and give you a relaxing experience. Take a friend, your spouse or just have a little free time for yourself but definitely go!

Set an appointment with Nikki and she came and took care of me right away. Did a full stone massage pedicure and it was great. I climb on roofs for my job and with the hot weather my feet get sore. This was relaxing and help my feet and toes feel like new. I highly recommend you call and ask for her.

They did a great job on my pedicure and basic fingernail color. They have procedures and precautions in place because of covid; you are required to wear a mask or one will be provided to you, cannot have guests even kids, and of course being seated every other seat. I appreciate the precautions and even before the pandemic they were always great. Will be going to see Vicky again

I tried this place because of the reviews and it didnt disappoint. Great prompt service. Was able to call 20 mins ahead to make an appt. Was walk on ready for both myself and my 6yr old daughter. They have special kids pedicure chairs and she absolutely enjoyed the pampering they gave her. For myself. I had a pedi and full set done with gel. The techs also only speak English amongst themselves as well which for some make it more comfortable. I will definitely be returning!

Love Salinas in Fleming Island. Never had an issue; but really love Nikki and Julia. My husband and I enjoy getting our pedicures every few weeks. They take their time and don’t rush as ones that we had done previously at the mall.

I really enjoyed this salon! The environment is alive compared to cold and awkward. Lee, the owner, walks around greeting new clients! Wine, beer, and or water is offered. It is pricey but in my opinion is definitely worth it. Brand of Polish lasts! When I can afford it Ill surly be returning.I had a beginner so the time there was too long for a Mani/Pedi but the owner apologized and appreciated the patience..of course it was a pamper day for me so it didnt bother me. But if I had planned for only an hr yes I would have been upset. The boys name was Tony but he is a perfectionist and really super nice and does try conversating. ☺

Juan did my nails .. she was amazing. I have driven to the other side of town for years where I used to live toward the beaches to get my nails done when I moved to Fleming Island because I wasnt able to find any one to compare to his work, cleanilness and comfort to doing my nails. I am happy knowing I can find this at Salina Nails now close to me. I have tried quite a few salons and pulled the nails off within hours even.

My Technician is Nikki and my wifes was Stephanie. They took so good care of us were have now started scheduling an appointment to make sure were able to get them. We do a couples night and get mani-pedis. Its a very good treatment the Valcano its the best. I highly recommend this Salon. Weve never waited very long no more than 5 mins. Now I know that is subjective but this is my personal experience. This is my 3rd time there with Nikki. Great experience

I give this place 5 stars but my experience on Friday was worth about 2. When making my appt I explained to the girl I wanted a gel manicure and toe polish change. I had to tell the receptionist 2 more times when I got there and waited 20 mins past my appt time. Then I sat down and ken unfortunately did my nails. I explained to him that I wanted a gel manicure and polish change. Then then proceeds to rush at drilling at my nails and got up 4 or 5 times to run around the salon. He didnt not seem to know what he was doing then tried to get me sns/dip powder! The massage at the end was rushed as the whole serviced seemed to be that way. I recommend selinas, just not ken. Oh also i didnt get a polish change after all that either...

Wow! Walked right in, and I was assigned to Joy. She did a great job with my mani and pedi.I chose the extra spa care for my pedi bec they had a special for $35. Came with hot stone massage and hot towel wrap for my legs. It was well needed!I came in with gel color on my nails. She offered me to try the S&S. Its powder my nails are dipped into one by one. I love it! My mani looks awesome and my nails feel stronger. Its been four days now since then and I have been hiking, swimming, and traveling, and my nails still look like I just came out of the salon.I was offered water, soda, wine, beer and juice. I love this place. I wish they had a location in Miami. Next time Im in the area, I will be back to see Joy.
