A relaxing, peaceful experience. Not your traditional pedicure. Calvin takes his time, pays attention to detail and provides an excellent pedicure. The salon is comfortable and chairs are ones you’d want to sit in at home. This is something I did with my husband and it’s something we both enjoyed. I thoroughly enjoyed my “me time” spa experience at Wood & Nails. The technician Calvin was excellent and the manicure/pedicure was exceptional. I truly felt pampered and relaxed. Calvin is a professional at what he does. My nails have never looked better and my skin feels soft from the lotions he encased my hands and feet in. I especially enjoyed the hand and foot massage as well as the hot towels he brought out for a final pat and wiped down of my hands and feet. I have to also add that I was entertained by a show he had on the TV of comedian Jack Whitehall touring and learning about Italian food and living. I truly felt as if I were on a mini vacation with Calvin as my spa professional. Thank you Calvin for a memorable job well done!

Great experience! And that’s exactly what it was, an experience. I’ve had manicures and pedicures before where I’m surrounded by noise and a technician that just wants to get you in and out. Calvin cares about your service and cares that you leave happy. Attention to detail and a clean product. 10/10 will come back. I won’t go back to settling for anything less than what Calvin can offer.

I’m in from Toronto, and randomly going through Google to select a nail salon automatically, I looked at reviews and with that I made a decision to call. A very nice gentleman answered the phone. His name was Calvin very sweet and I asked him for a booking and he got me in within two hours. I was warmly greeted by the owner, Calvin, so nice to have personalized service In a private space. He sat me down and brought hot water for my feet and hands to soak for preparation. As he went to work, I was very impressed by his meticulous , professional skills. He made it look so easy. I’ve been getting Manicures and pedicures for years and years, and this was the absolute best I’ve ever had. Wow, thanks Calvin You’re amazing!!!!!! I highly recommend this special place. I booked an appointment with Calvin, the owner, and it did not disappoint. I was seeking a good cleaning overall. I’m particularly keen on proper cuticle removal. It can be tricky because too much can result in complications and too little just grows in too quickly. Calvin was spot on. He knows his business. His space also feels like a little sanctuary. The nail technician was very efficient with trimming and shaping my nails. It started with a soak in a metal wash basin for my feet and small bowls for my hands. A salt scrub and massage was also included with the mani/pedi which felt very nice. I wasnt used to the dremmel type device he used on my nails and cuticles which honestly hurt at times. Other than that I enjoyed the experience. Pricing was good for the Sports Manicure & Pedicure, $85. Thats a lot less than I would pay on a Cruise, my only other experience getting a mani/pedi.

It was my husbands first time getting a pedicure so I paid for the most expensive pedicure but didnt receive the services advertised. A detox is when toxins are expelled from the feet through the soles of the feet. He didnt soak long enough to get a full detox experience. It is better to just get the basic pedicure, but lesson learned. It felt rushed though. A client that was there before us was still there getting serviced when we left! My husband said his feet feel good so that is a plus...but he has nothing to compare it to! We will go again but will get serviced by Calvin next time. Calvin is the perfect professional who greeted me with a smile, directed me to the oversize comfortable stuffed chair draped with clean white towels and immediately had my feet soaking in a warm bath while he started talking to me about what he was about to do. He went way beyond a simple mani/pedi, focusing on the nail trim length I wanted, using oils, lotions and scrubs to make my hands and arms shine and trimming the cuticles to give a smooth clean look. He massaged my lower arms and hands to the point that I was so relaxed I could have fallen asleep.For my feet he expertly trimmed my nails, cleaned up the cuticles, but then scrapped those rough spots on my big toe and sole, added some other oils, scrubbed and massaged my lower legs and made me feel like a new man.The shop is designed for men and doesnt have that awful nail salon smell that comes with nail polish remover and rows of technicians opening polish.I cant wait to go back! Called Wood and Nails Lounge after having some bad experiences at other nail salons and it was the best decision I’ve made. They are on a league of their own. I received an appointment right away with Kevin. Parking was adequate. The atmosphere is very peaceful. The setting is very comfortable with big fluffy chairs. (No they do not have the typical salon chair with the jets which was one of the problems I had from the other salons. Due to the fact that they are not hygienic.) Kevin brought fresh warm water and really took his time on my feet. The manicure was also very detailed. I sat back and watched a nice show on the tv while enjoying for the first time my mani/pedi. Not to much talking just relaxation. I left there with my hands and feet feeling brand new!!! The price is definitely worth it. I can’t wait for my next appointment!

Being north of 50, and never having had a mani/pedi, I was a little trepidatious going into this. I walked up stairs, greeted warmly by Calvin and the girls, sat right down in a huge brown club chair. Drinks were offered and Calvin went to work, hands first, then feet. The experience was awesome, he spent 90 minutes on my very neglected hands and feet. I felt like a new person when I walked out. Definitely recommend this to everyone , male or female, young or north of 50. Ill be back in a heartbeat .Thank you, Calvin

What a TREAT!! I was taken for my Birthday as a gift. I cannot recall the last pedi I had!! The crew certainly had some serious work to do.. I was so comfortable and wow did they spend time to even find my feet !!with so much neglect on my part!!Very Happy and NICE A MANS PLACE!!! So very comfy chairs and FRESH BARRELS OF WATER!! Thought it was so COOL!

I booked this nail salon for my fiancé’s birthday. We both had the ultimate manicures and pedicures. The service was great and the atmosphere was very relaxing. For our services we didn’t feel rushed at all and our feet were butter smooth afterward. We definitely walked away feeling like we have new hands and feet now.

I wanted to try a new nail place that caters to males clients, instead of where I had been going. I also don’t mind a short trip out of the Wilton bubble.The atmosphere was comfortable, like being in a man cave. The chairs were comfortable so that you can really relax.The services themselves were beyond my expectations. Typical mani until the electric skin/nail buffer came out to soften away rough skin on your fingertips and smooth the surface of your cuticles and nails. The sugar scrub smoothed away any dried skin on my hands and arms. What a treat.The pedi was very detailed and customized to address my unique needs where my feet are concerned.
