    I went in for a full body evaluation and needed something addressed. Missy at the counter, was fantastic, calmed my anxiety and helped me get set up. From there Dr. Wade Foster and staff were amazing. Super qualified. Great environment with good people. Take care of your body! They will help!

    I called Florida dermatology on a Monday and they got me in the next morning for an appointment. I couldn’t believe how fast that was. And when I arrived, everyone was so nice and welcoming. The doctor was very thorough and explained everything to me. I will definitely go back there for my skin Issues.

    Florida Dermatology is the BEST!!! Very kind doctors and staff. David is the best. So kind and caring and Sherry baby tried not to hurt me with those awful shots. Same with Mercy and Orlanda. Sweet, kind and caring women. Dr. Foster is nice and his wife Chris is the best. She talked to me the whole time she was cutting on me. They act like you are their only patient not just a number like most doctors offices.     I had a great experience! Dr. Dewberry was very thorough and friendly and the entire staff were also. I had a problem getting a ride back home through my insurances transportation company after several attempts and the staff at the front desk called a Taxi for me and explained my situation.     My family and I have been seeing Dr. Dewberry for many years. The care and support we receive has been wonderful. The staff are friendly and professional. I have no hesitancy in asking questions or concerns. What has been important for me is that there has been no judgement from anybody at the Inverness and Crystal River locations. If we have a specific problem, they are able to schedule us to be seen within a day or 2. We have been grateful for their presence in Citrus County.

    David Richardson, PA and his nurse Gina are simply amazing! Both are attentive, caring, patient and knowledgeable. They listen well. I have a serious issue. David is experienced and skilled and he is determined to deliver the absolute best in care for his patients. I feel like I am in very capable hands. I am confident in his diagnosis and treatment plan. The entire office staff is pleasant and helpful. It’s a wonderful experience to visit this office.

    I had skin cancer surgery done today. Florida Dermatology is top notch. Beautiful office, very friendly and helpful staff, top notch,and friendly nurse to get everything ready for surgery, and excellent surgeon. The surgery was virtually pain free, and the surgeon also did an excellent job stitching everything. Nurse did a great job badaging and wrapped wound.Everything went smoothly, almost pain-free, and Im feeling great, and very happy with the surgery and results.Larry Kann

    Florida Dermatology is Tops in their field of surgical removal of skin cancers. They have a beautiful facility and great staff. Ive had two procedures there and both were Good experiences.     Having skin cancer on my face was a little scary. The doctor was absolutely the nicest dr. He explained everything in a nice and easy to understand way. The next day I got a call to see if I had any questions or if everything was ok. The staff are so nice. I still have my stitches but it looks good already. I would recommend them to anyone.

    Dr. Foster is kind and caring but if you are having skin cancer surgery discuss with medical assistant who checks you in your personal preference for any pain medication you might need post surgery and have this added to your chart. I did not and should have. What was given to me for minor pain for having to have stitches gave me far worse pain as a result of side effects and wont ever take that pain medication again. Other pain medications would have worked just as well or better. Hope this will help someone else not make the mistake I did by accepting what I was prescribed and not asking for something else instead.

    I saw Dr Foster and his staff to have a large cancerous spot on my hand removed. The procedure itself was so fast and efficient. Completely painless. Waiting to make sure they got it all was the worst part. But they did and I went in to have stitches done. Again, incredibly efficient and friendly. After the procedure I became very lightheaded and the staff took such good care of me. I felt cared for which is unusual for a doctors office anymore. Would 100% recommend this office.

    Update: Well it’s been now a couple years since I posted my first review of Dr Dewberry and his staff… and things have not changed. Staff at front desk is still amazing… nurse/ assistant still amazing… Dr Dewberry still a wonderful doctor. My husband started coming to Dr Dewberry as well. We just absolutely love the people at all the offices.I am a new patient to Dr Dewberry… I had been a patient at Suncoast Dermatology for 20+ years. They merged with a big corporation and no longer took my insurance. I have to say I believe is was a huge blessing. From the young lady that took my appointment to the ladies at the desk to the nurses in the back. I was treated with respect and the upmost of courtesy. They are wonderful.Now to the core of the practice…Dr Dewberry… I really can’t say enough about him. He was sooo thorough.He is respectful and laid back.He makes you feel very comfortable. I never had that at my previous doctors office. I am thrilled and blessed to make the change.

    I cannot recommend them enough. From the super personable and bubbly woman who scheduled my appointment to the provider I saw the experience was great. I do have to highlight the woman who made my appointment - I have never had someone so dedicated to customer service and someone’s experience. She actually sounded happy and excited to be assisting me to make an appointment. I wish I had her name because she was above and beyond. I came in for a pretty simple skin issue. I arrived to my appointment early, was taken back within 5 minutes and was done and walking out the door within another 10-15 minutes. I will absolutely return!

    11/5/2024Went to see Dr Dewberry today to have a growth removed from the top of my hand and also for a check up. They removed it and sent it out to the lab especially since Ive had one mole that was cancerous and many more throughout the years that have come back precancerous. I wouldnt go anywhere else to have my moles and skin checked for cancerous since it runs in my family. The staff there is very friendly and professional and Dr Dewberry is the best. These new offices are larger than the old ones and the parking lot is a lot larger with handicap parking spaces clearly marked and available. Dr Dewberry still is fantastic and he is the only Dermatologist that I truly trust with my health care. The front receptionist desk is also very large and open. Fantastic service. I would recommend this practice to everyone and especially Dr Dewberry.Dr Dewberry is fantastic. He does a fantastic job making sure that you dont have any issues or problems with your skin. Hes very professional and personable to his patients and listens to his patients if they are having any problems. Id highly recommend this place to everyone.

    The new Doctor I saw was terrific. He explained everything. But the nurse was just,...I dont know. First not very personable, not a good or bad mood just never looked up from her tablet. I had a rash to be looked at on the bottom of my left foot. She asked me three times if it was just my left foot. I just looked at her expecting her to realize what she said and maybe laugh about it. You see I was wearing shorts and I only have one leg, my left. The bandage I have on that foot covering a wound I am being treated for somewhere else fell off. We asked her at least six times for a bandage to put on it till we got home. I swear she just looked at her tablet. Then the chair was way to high for me to stand up. I shouldnt have had to ask her to lower it. She was just watching my husband try to help me stand. There were more smaller things. But I dont think it was her first day, she wasnt quite that young, she wasnt nervous. She was just not there, if that makes sense. I never ever complain about my health care people, and I see a lot. But I had to say something about her. I even had to ask her if we were done as she was walking out the door!

    I have been to a few dermatologists, but this guy was the first to be responsible enough to do a full body check. The others just asked me what I wanted them to look at. I did not like being told I would have to come back the next day or wait until the end of the day for him to do his notes before I could get a written sheet of directions. It looked like a large freckle. Just a light tan color. I had been told at yearly visits to my former dermotologist in Michigan that it was nothing to worry about. Dr Foster told me he should do a biopsy of it. The biopsy came back Stage 2 melanoma. He caught it in the early stages. And removed it. I am forever deeply grateful.

    I have a 30 year history of skin cancer and have been to over a dozen different dermatology clinics in multiple states over that time frame. I have only been to two clinics where skin cancer checks were more thorough than here but I prefer the level of rigor at this clinic.I have had cancers removed by both Dr. Foster and Dr. Dewberry and both did excellent work. Not all the nurses, however, are equally gifted at giving numbing shots and applying facial bandages. I do not know the name of the nurse at the Inverness office who crafted a small bandage to exactly fit my skin graft but I suggest she teach other nurses how to work that precisely.
