    I’ve been getting my nails done and eyebrows waxed by Nancy for over 9 years. My nails are always beautifully done and Nancy executes my vision to a tee. For 4 years, I lived about two hours away and would drive back just for Nancy to do my nails! My nails always last, there is great availability for appointments, all the staff is very friendly, the salon is newly renovated and clean, and they stay up to date with all the new nail trends. I highly recommend Famous Nails and Spa, especially Nancy!

    This 5-star review is way overdue!! I have been a customer of Famous Nails since 2010 and it is without hesitation that I would recommend this little gem of a place to everyone! From the moment that I step in, I receive the warmest welcome and I always make an appointment with Nancy, who is now the new owner. Her technique is superb and consistent! She will always suggest a new color for me and I love her for that!! Her professional skills and now owner responsibilities have transformed the salon into a more pleasant and happy place!     Kim is a nail GODDESS!!! We clicked immediately and she made it a priority to get to know my personality/vibe in order to offer suggestions for my nails each time. She takes pride in her work and doesn’t rush, yet she makes it look so easy. I highly recommend coming here, as other staff has also been great from my brief experience with them.

    This place is taking care of my nails for a year now and it’s absolutely amazing. Every time I ask them to create a cute design for my nails they never disappoint. They are so nice to me all the time and I couldn’t be happier. Terry is the best massager ever and Kim and Loen are the best nail designers ever.

    My first time visiting this salon and I’m hooked. The customer service is top notch, all of the staff are super friendly and attentive! I got a manicure and pedicure, Kim explained all of the price breakdowns prior to beginning any service to set the prior expectations. I presented a picture of the design I wanted and she took it to another level without me having to repeat anything. I’ve finally found a salon that doesn’t rush my nails.

    First time at this salon and I had the most amazing experience!! Started out getting a gel pedicure by Lily who was super detail oriented! After telling me how good their manicures were, I thought i’d get another acrylic fill! I always get design and am super picky and was extremely pleased with the results! Henry did an amazing job with shaping my nails they were probably the most perfect reshape I have ever gotten!! Then, Kim absolutely killed it with my design!! I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she executed it perfectly!! she even freestyled my thumb and did amazing with it! a true artist at work! Thank you so much Nancy for everything, what an amazing shop :)

    I love coming here!! It’s my go to nail spa. I love all of the techs and the environment here! I always feel welcome and everyone is always very professional. Today I was tender to by Jennifer and her mother, Lu Anne!! They are both so wonderful. Jennifer did an absolutely fantastic job on my dip powder tips! I asked for a classy, clean look and she accommodated and gave me just what I asked for! I also love how everyone is incredibly friendly, I always leave the salon with a huge smile on my face! I highly recommend it here, it’s wonderful! 😊

    I shopped around for 2 years after moving to LandOLakes. I wasn’t happy with any place I went. I finally found Famous Nails. I’ve been hooked ever since. Everyone has a great attitude and the prices are pretty much the same as everywhere else. Nancy has been AWESOME. Every time I get my nails done they look fabulous. I get so many compliments on them. She is very creative and talented with her nail art. I would highly recommend this place.

    The manicurist was very attentive and did a great job with the pedicure as nothing ever felt uncomfortable or hurt while she was doing it. She also painstakingly applied like 7 coats on each nail. However, I think the shop could use some UV lights to help dry polish between coats. I was the last appointment of the day and so I was given the slippers to go home in to keep my pedicure intact while it dried. I was told to not touch them for 30 min after and I didnt for almost 3 hours. But when I checked it at night time, I found that the glitter layers on my pedicure had moved and basically folded in at the edges, most noticeably on my big toe. I think having UV lights to help dry the polish between coats would have prevented this issue, and I dont think it was the manicurists fault at all. All in all tho, a great experience and very well priced for it! I payed 35 for a regular mani-pedi and its still intact like 3 weeks later!

    Been coming here on and off for 10 years. The owner is great. The staff is well trained and they keep things really clean. Kim introduced me to hard gel since Ive never had luck with regular gel or dips. I really wanted to grow and thicken my nails. She did an amazing job and is very detailed oriented. I absolutely in love with how my nails look! Incredible!! See you at my next visit Kim!!!

    Would highly recommend Famous Nails, I have been coming here for about 5 years. I always get top notch service from everyone there. Never had to wait to long at the times I do not make an appointment, always very accommodating and my nails are always on point. Always clean and well kept.     I went in for a mani paid as I do every 3-6 months with time permitting. Also, I wanted my son to know the importance of good hygiene in respect to maintaining clean & cut finger/toe nails in which he walked away with a basic working knowledge of. I need to add that Lisa was phenomenal and provided exceptional service particularly with the pedicure. Lisa was very courteous in asking about the water, stone, and towel temperatures. I will be scheduling future appointments with Lisa, as needed. Come here if you want exceptional, dependable, courteous service.

    I came in for a fill and pedicure and was pleasantly surprised! I am new to the area and after trial and error - found this place! Loann did my pedicure and gave me the best hot stone massage and polished my nails beautifully! Then Henry did my fill and gel polish and OMG he is METICULOUS! He did not speak much but he was laser focused! He kept checking his work and made sure each nail was perfect! I am so happy with the results! The atmosphere is calm and relaxed and very clean. I highly recommend!

    I love coming here. The staff is so friendly and I never have to wait. So far terry and Henry have helped me and they deliver fantastic service and work. They are the best!!!!     Lynn did a fantastic job on my pedicure. Have ingrown nails on big toes and no more pain. Wonderful massage & pedicure. Then I had a fill. Jennifer does a fantastic job. Very professional She went out of her way to find the nail color I wanted and my nail length & shape is perfect. Definitely returning to see both Lynn & Jennifer.

    My husband and I moved to Land O Lakes less than a week ago from Washington State. I’ve been trimming my toenails myself and since I suffer from ingrown toenails it becomes a painful situation fast. Found good reviews for Famous Nails and Spa and called for an appointment. When I explained about my problem toenails Jennifer said they’d take care of me. My appointment with Lyly was relaxing, professional and pleasant. Their massage chair was one I was familiar with from back home and so enjoyed it. When I asked for the one toenail to be cut shorter no problem. Jennifer came over and was quick and efficient and no more pain! I highly recommend this place and I’m grateful to them for their wonderful service. One note it doesn’t say Famous on the door. Just Nails and Spa. FYI 😊

    Just came in for my first time and the whole salon is clean, welcoming and was just remodeled so the interior is stylish and looks gorgeous! I got acrylics and all I knew was what color I wanted and Jennifer handled the rest and she exceeded my expectations. I have no words for how she just knew what to do to make them into the perfect design, they are the most beautiful nails I have ever had! I won’t go anywhere else!!

    I have been going to this nail salon for 15 years. They have ALWAYS been creative, clean and professional. Every service is fairly priced and I have always gotten the results I wanted.Today as I was getting my pedicure, some miserable woman ( I believe she left a review saying the salon and employees were rude and unsanitary) came in…cursed at the employees, threatened the owner, told her she would put her out of business and caused an unnecessary scene all because she didn’t have an appointment and there was no one else who could help her right then. She also announced to the whole salon that she didn’t tip and that’s why she couldn’t be serviced! Now that is where I have a problem…I work for tips as well and that’s just ridiculous!!!! It’s just rude. Please treat other people how you want to be treated and be respectful if others.Please support this business and see for yourself why this woman should be embarrassed by her behavior.A+++++ service every single time! Thank you to Jennifer and all the other techs that make us feel pretty! We appreciate you!

    Today was my first time coming here definitely not my last. My nails on my hands and feet look amazing. The service was amazing. The people that work here are very friendly. The gentleman that did my acrylic nails didnt plaster on the acrylic, instead I have a nice thin layer the way that I like it. The pricing is also very reasonable.

    Omgosh. This place is awesome. I always feel like in playing rush and roulette when picking a nail salon, but I am so pleased that I came here. They played relaxing music, comfy pedicure chairs, very clean, upscale, reasonably priced... I had the hot stone pedicure and let me tell you it was amazing. I have been to SO many nail salons and left horribly disappointed.... I cant wait to come back to this one. Cindy is the BEST!!!!!

The Nail Salon was recently upgraded, with the COVID restrictions, they take good precautions to ensure customers are protected. They have the latest colors and trends. Absolutely recommend anyone to go and try - you will not go anywhere else!

    This nail salon is absolutely Wonderful! I went for the 1st time yesterday afternoon and had another person with me, we walked right in and they got started on both our pedicures right away. They have about 8 or more different types of pedicures with different ingredients in packages that cone pre packed/made that focus on different things suck as one is lavendar for soothing and relaxing properties and a lemon something one for dead skin cells and things like that which Id never seen before. The place I was going to did pedicures for $20 and this places price is $40 so double the price I was paying but I got Id say triple the service! They are so nice and do an amazing job! The salon is very clean and tidy and they offer you a drink while your recieving your services. Id definitely recommend this place to anyone/everyone I know!

    I made an appointment to get a full set and a pedicure yesterday. I had to change my appointment twice due to other obligations that went over.     Love this place! Not only is Jenny an artist- she is Fast! Show her a picture and BAM! You’ve got it on your nails! They use quality products so I can easily go 3 weeks between fills. The atmosphere is friendly and they are super clean. I will never go anywhere else!

    The WORST gel manicure I have ever had! I have polish all over my hand and when she did the clearcoat she coted my skin also so the tip of my nails are stuck to the tip of my fingers. $30!!     I love this place! Have been going there regularly since I moved here over one year ago. They are very fair and professional and do a great job!I was in the shop when a customer complained that her gift card wasn’t honored. It was Purchased in December of 19 with a one-year expiration date. she couldn’t understand that the shop had been open throughout most of the Covid pandemic and only was closed for six weeks so she had plenty of time to use it. The owner tried very hard and politely to explainthat to her but the woman refused to listen and I believe has written a scathing review. I have had only very positive experiences here snd am always very pleased with my results.

    I love this salon i went here it was so clean and sterile. The prices are amazing 35$ for a full set of gel nails and 25$ for a full set of acrylic nails. They last forever i have mine on for 3 weeks minor lifting i got my eyebrows wax for 8 buck such a good deal definitely going back. I am getting a fill tomorrow

They are all artists in here!I have had the same nail tech since I was 14 and when I moved last year I was worried about who would do my nails, I came in nervous and it instantly faded once I saw the techs in here, they are kind and extremely patient and you can’t beat their prices!!     Every time I’m here I have the best time! Jennifer the owner is such a sweetheart. Peter does a killer pedicure! Terri does a great fill in. Love the vibes in here. The music is also on point every time. Love this place. Highly recommend!

    I just moved to land o lakes from st pete, usually I stick with my same nail place for years however my usual is still closed due to covid. I normally wouldn’t try somewhere new but I’m SO GLAD I DID! Everyone was very friendly. Terry did an absolutely amazing job on my nails... not only that, but he made the effort to learn about me and made it personal. today I found my new salon. Thank you all! I’ll be back in June with an appointment

    I couldn’t have more good things to say about this place! They’re super clean and do an amazing job! The owner expects nothing but the best and if you’re not happy, politely say something.. she won’t let you leave till you’re satisfied! Everyone is super nice! I think it’s only been under new management for a little less then a year so if you haven’t been since then, it’s 100% worth another try! I have the worst and thinnest nails ever and Jessica has been my saving grace!

    I stopped in to get two gift certificates to pass out for Christmas. The place was full which to me means repeat customers plus everyone getting ready for Christmas. The staff was very attentive I had my certificates and out the door within 4 minutes like a very clean place everyone seemed pleasant and nice.
