This review is long overdue, but I cant say enough good things about Parker at J. Joseph! I have been coming to Parker for quite a while now. Shes the type of stylist that makes you want to move to wherever she moves just so she can still cut your hair! My recent haircut experience was simply outstanding! (As usual)😍 Parker not only listened attentively to what I wanted but also offered valuable advice based on her expertise when I asked for it. Her friendly and bubbly personality instantly made me feel like I was chatting with a close friend rather than just a client. ✨ She truly goes the extra mile to ensure you leave happy and satisfied. I have had bad experiences before that made me really nervous finding someone to do my hair for special occasions. I am eternally grateful to have found Christina. She styled my hair for my sisters wedding and I felt like a princess. A lot of complimented my hair and I was just so happy to have someone listen to what I wanted and work with me so smoothly! We were bouncing ideas off each other and it worked amazingly. She will be my go to from now on and I highly recommend you go to her-- especially if you have curly hair, shell make you look amazing!!!

Everyone here is super wonderful and friendly. Parker did an amazing job on my haircut and I already have my next appointment scheduled with her! I’m a little bit of a difficult client because I don’t know much about hair or what I want but Parker was amazing at helping me figure something out. I’ve always gotten blunt straight cuts and although it seems obvious how, I had no idea I could get the bottom of my hair texturized so it didn’t look so blunt. I’m so glad she suggested it to me, my hair looks amazing 🩷

If you’re looking for a best friend who is phenomenal with hair and gives great head massages then Parker should be your go to. Every time she’s done my hair it’s always spot on. I’m not exaggerating that’s she’s given me the best balayages I’ve ever had. I’ve seen her for balayage, glazes/toners, hair cuts and hair treatments. It’s not just her craftsmanship with hair that makes the overall experience great, it’s also her personality. She’s very warm and listens well. When I sit down in her chair we always discuss my vision for my hair and she listens when needed and helps give direction when asked. She’s been very honest with product recommendations as well, she suggests products within a wide price range to fit what works best for me. She’s even introduced me to a few new holy grail items. The salon itself is great, clean and everyone is friendly. Couldn’t recommend J. Joseph salon more and highly encourage you to schedule your next appointment with Parker.

Ok where do I start. I work in dental field so I don’t get my nails done. I don’t look good with long lashes so I don’t do those either. Hair is the only thing I invest my time and money into. I’ve had a few sessions with Brenda and I am so glad I found her! She is wonderful, skillful, and friendly. Not only she listens to what you want and deliver the outcome, but she also makes suggestions/recommendations along the way. I can’t wait to come in for my maintenance appointment with her!

5,000 stars for Mikayla and this salon! I have been seeing her for about two years and I never looked back. Before Mik I never had a consistent hair stylist that I trusted with my hair. I would go years without cut or color to avoid spending $$$$$ on something I hated. She always listens to exactly what I want and delivers something even better than I imagined! She’s super personable and always remembers what we talked about last time (I go 4-6 months between appts so it’s a big deal 🤪). Cannot recommend her or this salon enough! This was the best hair experience ever! Alex was phenomenal! I didnt know what I really wanted since its been about 20 years since my last professional hair salon visit and Alex was on it. She’s great, the salon is nice and clean, the atmosphere is welcoming and the people are as well.

Highly recommend Alex. I was horrified to get my hair cut with layers, as this was my first time getting it done (i never cut or touch my hair)… I searched for a very long time until i made a decision to just bite the bullet and get my hair cut. The 40 minute drive was worth it. She did AMAZING and this is coming from someone who can’t make up their mind about getting their hair done. She was very informative, made sure to ask twice about how short i wanted my hair cut, let me know while cutting my layers not to worry/explained the whole process to me. As soon as I walked in the door I knew this was the place to be! The receptionist was friendly and attentive even though it was a busy very Friday afternoon. My stylist Yaelle came and greeted me shortly after I arrived (make an appt!!) she was friendly, knowledgeable and made sure several times throughout my experience that she was giving me the cut I wanted. I walked out feeling w/ my hair feeling healthy, lightweight (thick hair) and smelled/looked amazing! I highly recommend Yaelle. Shes did a great job.

When my stylist was unable to fit me back in (due to her travel plans and my work schedule), prior to me leaving town for a family event, I took the recommendation of my sister and scheduled with Lauren. My sister highly recommended her for highlights/coloring.I fell in love with Lauren immediately. She is so warm and personable. She listened to my concerns and helped me to decide on a style that best suited me and adjusted my hair coloring perfectly! So glad I took my sister’s recommendation. I have already scheduled my next appointment with her and am also bringing my 12-year-old daughter in for a much needed “spa-experience,” as Lauren called it!

I went in for a new haircut style and was greeted by the receptionist, I think her name was Jasmine, who was very sweet and super helpful. The style of the salon is really cute and a very clean facility. Lauren was the one who cut my hair, she was amazing, easy to talk to, and was so helpful in helping me decide on a cut/style that would work well for me. Its usually a bit nerve wracking when you have someone new cutting your hair but Lauren was so knowledgeable and had great recommendations to help get my hair in the direction I wanted, I wasnt nervous at all. I look forward to going back and having her as my stylist! 🙌🙌🙌

Had a consultation with Yesenia, and wasn’t sure exactly what I wanted to do, she gave me a couple recommendations and I ended up going darker. I was a little nervous being light blonde for years but she did a great job blending in my natural root color and leaving some blonde so it was a nice fall ‘blonde’. Made sure I was comfortable and double checked about the price, section, color, cut etc. every step of the way. She was also super efficient, I was in and out of the salon in less than two hours with color, wash, cut, and style. Will definitely return!

This is crazy!!! Look at me feeling myself in the Publix bathroom. I’ve been getting balayages like once every two years from a handful of stylists from the east to south coast; and Thomas is the best I have ever had touch my hair. His technique, attention to detail and genuine care for the end product is unmatched. He teased my hair, tapped my roots with my natural color, got multiple compatible dimensions of blonde in my hair, plus immaculate conversation and care for my being while there — I’m sitting there like where did they find this guy!! So grateful and excited to have him as my stylist, I’ve already explained my five year hair plan with him and he respects it. Book with him if you want to feel glamorous and brand new! Prices are also extremely reasonable; I’ve definitely paid a lot more for so so much less. The best thing about Thomas is the ownership he takes over his work and care he has for your hair. Kind salon too; the whole team is really adorable!!

I started going there shortly after my twins were born because I needed a new style and to feel human again, and Sam knew exactly how to do it! She is truly amazing!! The lucky stylist who was assigned to me was Danielle (Dani) . Dani was friendly and appeared genuinely concerned with how I wanted my hair to be styled. I have been back several times & she has consistently done awesome work. The salon consistently has a positive energy, and the staff continues to be friendly and inviting. Since taking the gamble as a walk-in, I realize I am the lucky one, to now have such a great stylist!

I have always been so skeptical of getting my hair done by anyone else other than my friend who has done my hair for years. I am a blonde with very high expectations as far as my hair goes-it’s my baby. So when I heard about this salon I thought I would give it a try since my friend can no longer do my hair. I scheduled an appointment with the Stylist Sam and she did an amazing job. My hair is beautiful and healthy. I have never been happier with my hair and will continue to go back to this salon from now on. It is very clean and everyone is super nice. I felt welcomed and safe getting my hair done here and recommend it to anyone who needs great service.

I got my hair done with Alexa G.! She is amazing and I 100% recommend going to her to get your hair done. She asks many questions to make sure you get exactly what you came in for and does it with a smile on her face. I came in for a cut and color after 9 months of doing nothing to my hair, not even getting it trimmed. My hair feels and looks so much better and isn’t as heavy as before. Thank you Alexa G for your amazing talent and generosity.

Today I got a balayage done by Brenda ! She is fantastic . I love my hair. This is the first time a hairdresser gets the color I wanted ! Shes very professional , kind , and quick. I definitely recommend her . I will for sure come back to get my hair done by her !

I had a great experience here tonight. It started off rough as my appointment at 1045am was cancelled an hour beforehand due to hairdresser having car issues, but was rescheduled for 530pm. I get to the salon and waited a bit as hairdresser finished with client. I met Sabrina and she took me back for a consult, which she took time to listen and give me her professional opinion. We agreed on a color and began the process. She took her time and the result was amazing. I was there for three hours and left a very satisfied customer. My hair has not looked or felt this great in a long time, as I have put it on the back burner while I have been dealing with medical issues. I was in the salon for three hours and I am so happy with the results. I will definitely be seeing her again. Thank you Sabrina!!!

I did a shampoo and deep conditioner with an haircut and an style with Brenda Baker. I love it! It looks healthier and hydrated. The place was so clean and everybody was so nice to me. I recommend to go to J. Joseph Salon in Lutz FL and ask for Brenda Bake she so great and she listen to you for u wants her to do and show you how to fixed at home.

This salon is fabulous! I have never been the one to return to the same location, so that says a lot that I am a returning client and will continue to be. At the Lutz location, Samantha had the honor to take away my virgin hair! I put all my trust in her to be the first to put color in, and she did a seamless job. Everyone here is professional and friendly, I recommend Samantha based off of my experiences however you cannot go wrong with any stylist.

Went to the J. Joseph salon in Lutz and had a great experience. I was able to make a same day appointment for Balayage and a cut. Jasmin was my stylist and she was wonderful. I came in with my inspiration picture and she took her time with the consult, answered all my questions and explained the steps throughout the process. I’ve never done Balayage before and it turned out beautifully, a chocolate brown base with caramel/copper highlight. Perfect for Autumn. The salon itself was clean and everyone was nice and welcoming. Overall I would recommend this location and ask for Jasmin!

I was crushed when my long time stylist decided to retire for health reasons, but I decided to take a chance on J. Joseph. I am so happy to have found Angelie at this location. What a wonderful job she did on my pixie cut! I walked out of there looking refreshed and modern....and....the style is easy to maintain, holds its shape and makes me happy to look in the mirror. She is a real gem!

Ive been coming to J. Joseph for almost 4 years and I LOVE it. I always feel SO pampered, without feeling like I paid excessively for it. My stylist, Lauren, is professional, friendly, and always makes me feel fabulous, even if I just go in for a trim (though she does great balyage and keratin treatments too). Highly recommend!

I had seen what a great job she did with my friends hair and already trusted her with mine and my bf agreed ! Both my bf and I got our haircuts there and she did such a good job on both !
