    Lourdes is a great hair stylist.. She has been cutting my hair for about two years now, and she always amazes me. She is so pleasant and always goes out of her way to please her clients.     Lourdes is amazing! I just turned 50 and have extremely fine/thin hair…this is by far the best cut/style/highlights I’ve ever had. Believe me you can trust her…she is very straightforward about what will and will not work for your hair and genuinely wants you to leave very happy!

    This was my first time at Serenity Hair Salon with Lourdes. I chose her based on her excellent google reviews. She is amazing, just like her reviews!! My hair is fine and was severely damaged.     I have been looking for a new stylist and have tried several salons. I saw great reviews for Lourdes and decided to see what she could do. Let me tell you I have found my person! Great haircut. She listens and does what you ask. I have short hair and not all stylists can properly cut short hair with cowlicks and waves. I am beyond pleased with my cut. Thank you Lourdes 😊

    Lourdes is very knowledgeable with 30 plus years of experience, she knows what she is doing. She colored my hair, shampoo and conditioner. She uses Truss an Italian brand in your hair. She is very nice and cares about your hair needs. I am very pleased with her work and how relaxing her salon feels. I will definitely be a returning customer. Her English is not the strongest but is good enough to understand you and her amazing work is strong and at the end of the day that is what you are looking for, someone that will take care of your hair and what you need done.     I have been going here since I found myself desperate for a stylist to do the works before I headed off to my babys wedding in Liverpool, Lourdes came through with a BEAUTFUL job! This was our first encounter and we were using Google translate. We still understood and she made it happen better than SEVERAL stylist Ive had that speak the same language!I have continued to see Lourdes for all my hair care needs for the 1.5 years since the wedding!Give her a call you wont be sorry!

    Lourdes is so friendly, caring, and attentive. She took the time to show me what she was doing while explaining the process. I asked for layers to de-bulk, and keep a nice soft V and some layers to frame my face. The cut was wonderful, and then she carefully blew it dry and styled it to have the nice bouncy waves at the end. I wish I had a before photo so you could see the mess it was with dead, lighter colored hair at the end. Due to the virus Ive been cutting it at home (not too shabby) but coming to Lourdes reminded me that you cant beat the work of a professional.Im super happy to patronize family-affair businesses like these instead of chains. I felt comfortable here and even Lourdes husband talked to me - so nice!You will not be disappointed with your experience here, I could not recommend more. Im sad that I live in North Carolina and cant come here all the time, but the next time Im in Marathon Ill be visiting Lourdes!Thank you so much, Lourdes!! Until next time 😄

    I have been coming here to see Lourdes for a year now and I absolutely love her work-I travel between Chicago and Florida keys and have had great experiences in both places; however the cut I’ve loved the most is the first one Lourdes gave me and since then I prefer to only let her cut my hair. Yes she doesn’t speak perfect English, however she speaks much better English than I do Spanish and I am grateful that in this day and age we have great resources like translator to help us communicate. I recently decided to do something to freshen up my style and hide the grey that is starting to peek through. Lourdes did an amazing job of camouflaging my grey and my husband LOVED IT! He still hasn’t stopped admiring and complimenting me on my new look! I left the salon feeling great. Thanks so much Lourdes! You are a blessing!

    After moving down to the Keys full time, I’ve managed to find a great primary care physician, a dentist, a dermatologist, a gastroenterologist and now one of the most important a hair dresser! Her name is Lourdes at Serenity Hair Salon! I was in desperate need of a cut and color! I called and she fit me in her schedule! She did a great job, her salon is spotless and she is extremely nice!     The best haircut I have had in 20 years!!! Very clean and lovely place! The music was soft and soothing. Lourdes knew exactly what to do with my hair. She listened to my requests and cut it perfectly. Products were also top notch. Cant thank Lourdes enough for taking me even though she is very busy.     I had a partial highlight, cut and blow dry from Lourdes. I have been getting highlights for years and was nervous about going to someone new as the color can be off sometimes. I was very happy with the way it turned out. It was perfect!! The salon is immaculate!!!! She did a great job on my cut as well. Now I understand why she has all 5 star reviews. Well deserved Loudes! Ive gone for a quick trim or full cut depending on my needs, both always ending up looking spectacular.     I am here on vacation and needed my hair done. Since salons are closed by me I searched for a salon nearby and saw all the great reviews for Serenity. Lourdes took me right away as she just had a cancellation and I was able to come right in for a partial and cut. She did a wonderful job, exactly what I wanted! I was even impressed by the salon it was so clean and modern with newest equipment. Coming from NJ and going to salons in the city I was skeptical, but this salon was perfect and Lourdes did a fantastic job!

    Lourdes the hair dresser at this location is very knowledgeable and clear at the beginning about her pricing and the process she takes in doing your hair. The location itself is very modern and clean . The furniture was beautiful and everything was so well organized.     I’m a travel worker in town til August and needed a cut bad..I just happened to look up the salons in the area and everyone was talking about Lourdes..So i booked the appointment asap! Lourdes was great! I love my new cut! :) She was patient and made sure I was ok with how much she cut before she cut it..i didn’t want a lot of length off just a trim for split ends, so i got long layers..She is pretty much the only hair dresser that actually cut my hair how i wanted it cuz every time i say “not too much” they chop too much..I definitely recommend her if you want that 5 star style 👍

    While traveling in Marathon, I went to this salon. If I lived here, I would go here. The stylist, Lourdes, was very professional. I had my hair cut, colored and a keratin treatment. She did an excellent job. She speaks broken English but used a translator to help communicate. Her salon was clean. I am very pleased and lucky that I found here.

    I had the best cut and color I think I’ve ever had with Lourdes ...because of Covid I have been coloring my own hair and it just got to bleached out looking...she did an amazing job correcting my color with low lights and high lights and it is exactly the color I have been wanting for years...she is the BEST...she added a few long layers to my hair and now it has so much movement and shape..I feel so lucky to have found her! The salon is so comfortable too and she has an amazing line of hair products that I tried and can already see a difference in my hair...it was very dried out and now it feels so much softer and healthier.
