    I have been coming to Magic Touch since 2012 and I have never encountered a problem. Some people say Milly is rude but she’s not she speaks and engages in conversations with you if you speak to her. My hair has never been burnt like at other places. Sometimes can be a little rough while combing out my hair but I have natural hair and have a hard time myself so that’s to be expected. I’ve never felt anyone there is racist and I’m thankful that.

    I recommend ALFA, she is absolutely amazing! I believe her hands are BLESSED… every time she cuts my hair it grows like never before. Aside from her talent, I love sitting in her chair because she is QUICK, SWEET and PROFESSIONAL! 💕

    My sister made had an appointment here to get her hair done. They did a great job. These are Dominican hair stylist and they favor rolling your hair first then blow and flat iron. I would recommend.

    Been like 9 months since Ive been here but when I did come here it was my first time coming and it was an awesome experience I am African-American. I am natural so my hair is really thick and they were able to color straighten and style and it lasted 2 weeks even when I washed my hair my hair was a lot straighter it was still straight so they do a really good job here. I was really really impressed I definitely want to go back. The products that they use really made my hair healthy I mainly wear braids in my hair and I will wear a blow out a couple times a year but I was definitely definitely impressed with everything their service the time I was there, I had an appointment and I think they were pretty quick..I was there less than 3.5 hours.

    Love them ladies. They don’t like when your hair is tangled, but they still get the job done. 😂 I always go to them. The owner and her niece are the only people who does my hair.

    Great place and great service. My hair looks and smells awesome and the blow out lasts longer than I expected. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. It does take a long time but def worth it. Prices are great too. I have thick, curly, frizzy hair, but when I walk out of there, its shiny, straight and frizz free! Great group of ladies.

    Amazing Dominican Salon. Very welcoming and friendly. Very professional and all inclusive. Every stylist is awesome and talented. My go tos are Grace & Alpha but you cant go wrong with any of the hairdressers!

    I finally got my hair washed and trimmed professionally since Covid started. Just moved here and goggled some places. She did a good job, first time blow out wasn’t hurting. Took my chances as reviews weren’t that great, but glad I went. Worth repeating again

    Okay I am 18 and I have been going here for washes, trims, and blow dries since I was 11. They are latinas so they wont be as gentle with your head. But once you see your fine self with a nice blow out itll be worth it. Another thing, they take a while but it is because they are putting time into your hair. My hair took 3 hours when it was shoulder length and 4 hours now at my elbow length. They charge a lot for blow outs on thick hair/natural hair. Ive been charged anywhere between $45-55 for my hair that reaches my elbows. Mind you, this is the ONLY place I have gotten my hair done at and gotten my moneys worth...anywhere else they BURN my hair. I dont mind paying that much if it means they STAY OPEN. AND YOU MUST MAKE AN APPOINTMENT IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE WAITING FOREVER IN A DAY. YOU CANNOT WALK IN YOU WILL WAIT HOURS. Also, NO they do not discriminate against black people. Dominicans are of african descent and I am part african and havent had any bad racial experiences. If your hair is thick they WILL charge more and that goes for most places. Thick hair and black natural hair WILL BE CHARGED A LOT but you WILL NOT get an amazing result ANYWHERE else. Not only do they blow dry your hair EXTREMELY WELL but they put SUPER healthy products in it that make my hair so soft even after I wash it. Also, they handle thick hair/ethnic hair better than thin white people hair. Ethnic hair is their specialty. Also, if youre coming in for a trim they will cut off a lot. That is one thing they should work on. I would suggest cutting somewhere else and coming in for the styling/treatments. This is a fantastic place but if you know nothing about the dominican culture/mannerisms you may perceive them as rude. I would research on the mannerisms before coming in and having a culture shock.
