    Kayla P did full highlights for me. Due to my hair being very short we used a cap vs foils. She did a fabulous job. I highly recommend her. 5 stars for Kayla.I thought the pricing of the school was very high. They charged $88, which is about the same cost that my professional stylist charges. 3.8 stars for price. (In fairness cuts & other services are reasonable.)

    These 5 stars are for your student Karina! I was in need of a relaxing facial and she gave me the perfect one. From my arrival, Karina was friendly! She walked me through what to expect from the service, she ensured I was comfortable throughout the process and she provided my best facial experience by far! Karina was gentle, so much so that I found myself falling asleep! The products all had great scents and the ambiance was quite calm. After we were done she gave the insight to the products used and I left the salon with new knowledge on how to care for my skin.🧖‍♀️This was truly a great experience! Karina will have you feeling rejuvenated and glowing 👏🏻

    I have visited the Salon Professional Academy of Melbourne twice so far, with 2 upcoming appointments. My daughter and I both had Mani-pedis and our hair done. She had color, while I had a cut. Great experiences with all of our services. I also just had a full set of lashes done and I love them! I am going back for a fill in two weeks and a facial. I highly recommend

    TSPA. This was my first visit and I couldnt be more pleased. The salon is very nice itself to visit. Theres a real professional feel. Im impressed with the students working in their different fields of study. cuts, color, nails etc.My stylist was great. She did beautiful work on my hair. Ill be going back and asking for her to work on me. I highly recommend TSPA.(I guess I need to add that the costs are more than reasonable)

    This is my second visit to tspa. The first time was for a root color. Todays visit was for a full highlight. Destiny did a beautiful job and I was beyond pleased.🥰I live up north and its very hard to find Redken stylists. I love the place, the vibe and the teachers are fantastic. Side note: the full highlight was $80 and a toner is an additional $20.However, those who know the industry, know I would have easily paid 3x as much in a salon.Good thing I visit florida every 6 months 😆

    The 5 stars are for Delainey in Admissions. She has made the enrollment process very easy and stress-free for me. Not only has she been beyond helpful, but she has also been so kind every time I have interacted with her. It is a difficult decision making such a big commitment choosing your future, but with Delainey’s help throughout it all, I was able to start my career in the right mindset. Delainey is simply the best!

    Best facial of my life!I have spent hundreds on hydra facials and this by far was the best one I’ve ever had.My esthetician Khadijah was so gentle, professional and polite I really felt like I was paying hundreds. The products smelled so good and were so gentle on my sensitive skin. Khadijah was the first esthetician to really put me at ease and allow me to really enjoy my entire facial.My face is glowing!! That was incredible a service start to finish.

    After having blonde balayage for over a decade, I wanted to go back to being a dark brunette. Thankfully I had Destiny Price when I went, who absolutely slayed my hair! She is so sweet and personable and I can’t wait for her to do my hair again! My hair not only looked beautiful, but felt great when I left! 12/10, would recommend!!

    I brought my daughter in on the 4th of January and we had Tisha do her hair. This was my daughters first experience getting her hair cut and had a phenomenal experience. Tisha was so kind and gave her such a great experience.Im speechless now, I cant put in words how much I appreciated it ! She made great conversation and just treated her like a little person. Listening to the cute little conversations between hair dresser and client so cute. She has been telling everyone about it, so many complements on her hair cut. My daughter had long curly hair so its always worried to have someone cut it. 10/10 recommend.

    I love this place. I just got my lashes done by Edwina and they look and feel amazing! I got a natural bold lash look and they look just how I imagined. She really took the time to listen to me and make sure I was comfortable. Edwina was extremely personable as well. Thank you TSPA!

    The best part of this school is the admissions department! Mrs. Delaney is the most thoughtful, kind, and helpful person! She helps with any questions and or problems you may have! The most trustworthy and honest soul! Love her!!

    This was my second visit. My first was about a year ago. The reception desk is a little chaotic. One thing you should know is that you cannot add your tip to your bill or put it on your credit card. I remembered just as I got there and had to walk down the mall to an ATM to get cash.My stylist was Rachel and she did a great job at my wash cut and blow dry. I have VERY thin old lady white hair and she took her time sectioning it off and snipping it strand by strand as if she were dealing with Julia Roberts’ mane! In the end, it looked as nice as anyone could make it and I really commend Rachel for doing the best with what she had to work with. Sadly, by the time I got to my car I was in tears because I realized I no longer have a fraction of the hair I once had and will probably have to resort to a pixie cut.

    Everyone that works on you is a student, but are still under the guidance of professional staff. The students are great. Always glad when they get to work on you and very friendly. Some are in the early stages of their training and some are about to graduate. We all had to have hands on experience at our own jobs and so do they. I will continue to allow them to train on me.Had s cut color and style and I love it. The trainers are very thorough and encouraging with the students. My girl Breana is the best. She has done a great job every time I sit in her chair.

    Im a mixed brown islander with hip length wavy / curly hair.TATIANA did an AWESOME job with my hair. She was welcoming, friendly and professional! She made me feel at ease right away all the while informing me and educating me on the process and products she was using for my hair.With my faith not just anyone can handle my hair and put their hands in it. I was glad that the vibe with her was just right, and that was not hounded by an overwaych of people and instructors. It made me feel like I was in good hands and that she knew what she was doing.     This was an amazing experience!!!! Started off with Stephanie, the front desk manager, who worked very hard to make our entire reservation perfect!! (It was not easy since we had 3 girls)Then we had Ashley, Madison, Sharda who were amazing as well!!!!!I recommend the salon for all occasions and make sure sure you ask for Stephanie, she will make your appointments happen!!!

    Amazing Experience!!I went in today for a consult on what I can do to my overly boxed dyed hair before my wedding next month and they let me know what can professionally be done without causing more further damage. I can say I walked out with an appointment booked with Ms.Destiny Price. I had the best experience learning what I can do to change my hair while learning what i can do to keep it healthy in the future with her. I was super impressed by the knowledge they had and what they could tell me in such a short time of looking at my hair. Will definitely always recommend this salon. Especially Destiny Price.     I cannot be anymore appreciative for how Danielle Pasvantis handled my hair. From the initial consult to the application of full highlights, even being gentle for my tender head/tangles I could not have had a better hair experience. Danielle took her time to make sure my hair was processed appropriately and turned out absolutely amazing. I felt so beautiful leaving the salon. How is this girl a student I kept thinking, she was that wonderful. If you have blonde needs and/or just a hair cut go with Danielle. You will feel so great when she is done with your transformation!!!

From ther services I received, to her knowledge of hair care and products, and to her customer service my overall experience was a 10/10!!     Had a haircut here today, and it was an all-around amazing experience. Kai (Kaitlin) was my student hairstylist, and she did an amazing job. She was very professional, had detailed knowledge of the various products she used on my hair, was precise in her cutting technique, and very dedicated to seeing that my hair looked fabulous when she was finished. I will definitely be returning to see what wonders she can pull off with color! Great place I would recommend to anyone. (And I am a nit-picker, I dont write reviews unless I am very impressed.)

    I booked a facial, wax, and conditioning treatment for my hair. Destiny Price completed all of the services and she did an amazing job. Some people have a gift and she is one of them.     Yesterday, I went to the Salon Professional Academy inside the Melbourne Mall and had a wonderful experience! Isabelle F. colored my hair and I cant say enough great things about her. She consulted with me before the appointment so she knew exactly what I wanted. She explained each step of the process, so I felt very comfortable in her hands. My hair came out amazing! I also loved how she told me which products she used so I can get the same soft and healthy hair at home. I highly recommend Isabelle for hair services!

    I was very skeptical of beauty schools, cause I’ve been to a few in another state and I was so disappointed but I needed my hair cut so I decided to try this one. Well, I was so pleased how Elizabeth cut and styled my hair, and I was her very first , you wouldn’t think that, cause she did such a great job on my hair. An additional bonus was that Dion is a fellow New Yorker! I was really surprised because I was not expecting such quality service from a beauty school.     Got a cut, color and makeup done by Hallie and the entire experience was amazing, and I actually had a lot fun in the process which isn’t something I’ve had at any other hair appointment.     Ive never had my hair colored before but decided I needed a change. Heard about this place from a friend who only gets her hair done here and went from brunette to blonde to Broadway Blue with Times Square Teal ends. Very cool to see the progression. Alex was wonderful to work with as I came in with a small idea of what I wanted (basically just blue hair) and she turned it into this! Thank you girl! She also answered all my questions about how to care for my now beta fish/mermaid hair. Its definitely a community in there, too, I probably spoke to everyone in there over the course of the 2 appointments I had (bleaching one afternoon, color on a different morning). Awesome experience for my first time. I will definitely be going back for touch-ups or any other crazy hair color.

    I didnt know anything about Hair schools in general, if you would have asked, I wouldnt have trusted someone new doing my hair. Then, my daughter Savannah Mulligan enrolled, when she went on the floor 2 months later, I was a little nervous to entrust my head to her, but she did a wonderful job! She has become my favorite hair dresser (even if in training), so far, shes done hair cut, roots, highlights and lowlights. I can tell you that Ive had the same hair dresser for the past 10 years and she is wonderful, my daughter, only after a couple of months practicing, did as good if not better than her! I love the instructors, they are very helpful and always keep an eye on whats going on and manage to do that in staying discreet and not intruding on the student and the client. I love TSPA, my opinion of it has drastically changed now that I have actually gone as a client, and I would recommend it to anyone. Visit my daughter Savannah Mulligan, she has wanted to become a hair dresser since she was a child, and you can tell she is a natural at it. She loves what she is doing, and it shows!

    Love going here for my hair and nails! Jessica L. is my go to girl right now but I’ve never had a stylist that didn’t deliver. They are all professional in their initial consultation and work with their instructors to make sure you get what you want, and what’s best for you!     My experience here with Bianca the Barber was fantastic! I went in to get french braids. She was quick. Bianca took the time to ask questions and really took care of me, my braids lasted 6 daysuntil I took them out, they were also the nicest braids. I got so many complements that I am rebooking with Bianca and also, the price is very fair for the service.

    Loved the haircut, not so much the style it was blow dried into, but, I seldom like the way my hair is combed, so no big deal. Mica, the hairdresser, was very friendly and professional.     I just had my hair done at The Salon Professional Academy in Melbourne, FL by my cousin, Lilia Medina and she did a fantastic job!! She took the time to see that I was nervous and reassured me that what I wanted could be done. I dont get my hair cut that often and she exceeded my expectations!! I would go to her every time!!     I arrived at TSPA for my scheduled appointment time. After filling out a couple of forms, I was quickly greeted by Jacey for my waxing services. She did an amazing job on my eyebrows!! Which they desperately needed. I am very pleased with all of the waxing services I received. Then after a few minutes, I was then greeted and led back to the hair salon area by Anna. I requested a spiral perm. Anna and Kai did an awesome job on my perm. I am absolutely thrilled with the result. I feel so pretty. Both gals are an absolute pleasure to work with. I will let future clients know...... understand that this is a school. Please dont come here wanting a rush job. These students are doing a great job and need a little more time to do their job. I rather they take the extra time to get it right 🙂 I have already scheduled my follow up appointment!! I highly recommend them. Especially Anna, Kai and Jacey!!

    I love PCI Academy. I can see that the educators want their students to learn and improve their skills. I have consistently had my hair cut by Kate Brafford. She is super conscientious with her work, and I am always satisfied with her haircuts. Her bubbly, upbeat, and sweet-natured personality always made me look forward to my appointments. :-)Also, for my last appointment, I had a section of my hair dyed crazy colors, blue and purples. I LOVE IT. If you are reading this in summer of 2016, my new hair is featured in my Google profile pic. I will miss Kate and PCI Academy when I leave Ames soon!

    Savannah Mulligan is already an amazing stylist. At my visit to TSPA she greeted me and gave me a tour of the facilty taking time to explain the program and training. She also was very professional in answering any questions I had about the program and her training. She explained that an instructor checked in with the process as she would proceed with my hair that day. And indeed that is exactly what happened. \. Savannah took time to talk with me about my color and what I was expecting. Savannah then got the color chart to match what I previously. She did a great job and the instructor did check both with the color selection and during the application and after Savannah had washed (with a great massage) out the color. This color is one of the longest lasting colors I have had! It has done a great job coloring my grey! Savannah also recommended a super condidtioner which was great for helping my hair recover from the color treatment. I asked Savannah to trim my hair and layers, unlike other stylists that is exactly what she did! A fantastic haircut! She did not try to cut off 6 inches or cut the bangs I am trying to grow out! The instructors came over to check her layering techniques and praised her skill! Then Savannah gave me a lovely blow dry that lasted through my airplane travel the next day! HIGHLY RECCOMMEND SAVANNAH MULLIGAN!!!

    Ever since we moved here I went to a few upscale Salons around town. My hair never turned out the way Ive wanted. I was disappointed especially after paying so much money to get my hair done. I walked by TSPA a lot of times while shopping at the mall. There is always people there getting their hair done. I looked it up online and was thrilled to read all the good reviews. I called to book an appointment. Going from an ombre to all natural brown with caramel highlights. Tori did my hair and let me tell you, she exceeded my expectations. Lynn was the instructor that day, she was very nice and watched very closely and made sure Tori did evertyhing she was suppose to.We will move again in 10 months but until then i will only go get my hair done here.Thank you TSPA & good luck ToriSilke

    I was able to get an appointment the day of, then they called me a little while later to let me know of an opening a few hours sooner. I was tired of looking like cousin it and they helped me collect some hair that i wanted to donate. Nathan was the stylist and he did a great job in my transformation from hideous monster to Chris Hemsworths stunt-doubles backup. Ill be going back in the future. Would definitely recommend.

    I never know what to do with my hair. I went in to see Savannah Mulligan who gave me layers and changed my boring, plain hair into something nicer. Ive seen the results of the highlights shes done and will be coming back to have that done! She also does a nice job with a mani/pedi and is my go-to person for a relaxing experience.

    My daughter and I have been going to PCI for massages for the last 3 years and have had the mani/pedi all three have been good experiences. We always got the 4 for 3 of the massages, but they said they did away with that. I miss it because it is to easy to say Ill let you know when I want another, but with the 4 for 3 massages I set all 4 up right away. I do miss they ladies and gentlemen when they graduate but the next new student is always good also. I have went in feels really sore and they get me relaxed and work the kinks out. Also when I am not sore the massage is the most relaxing experience. My daughter likes to add stones to her massage. I would recommend PCI to any one who is looking for a great experience. Everyone there is very nice and helpful.

    I attended TSPA in 2012 and still have my academy friends and a sense of family to this day. I was taught hair cutting techniques beyond industry standard and the business know how to prevent me from becoming the starving artist and to the thriving salon professional I am today instead.

    I’m very picky about who, how and where I get my haircut from, but ever since I’ve started going to the Salon Professional Academy, I’ve found my new home. My hair stylist, Lily Mignogna, is like Picasso with scissors. Everytime she gives me a hair cut, my hair looks exactly how I want it and I have a fun time being there as Lily has a stellar personality. For half the price of most hair cuts, I get one that’s twice as good with Lily. I now eagerly await every haircut. As a critic of film, I know a little something about criticism, but I can’t find one flaw in the way Lily cuts hair. For the perfect hair cut, set up an appointment with Lily Mignogna at the Salon Professional Academy and you won’t regret it. 5/5

    Great place to go and support students with their dreams. I have had an awesome Pedi by Kayla, a full set of accrylics by Ashley, an awesome fill and nail design by Trissy, Charnell by far gave me the best message I ever had and Chris O did an awesome job on my bangs, cut & style... Its hard to find someone who can do bangs right. He nailed it!

    I have been there twice. The first time, Jessica Urezzio colored my roots. She did a great job. My co-workers all complemented me. Even the men! I went back and requested Jessica Urezzio. She then did highlights all over. Ive had over 90 likes on my facebook picture of my hair. She did a fabulous job! I will be back to Jessica. Maybe go brunette to blond!

    I want to say a Huge Thank You to Sarah Graves (student) and the instructors. I just moved to Melbourne from Lakeland and a stylist in Lakeland wrecked my highlights and haircut. THANKFULLY Sarah Graves and the instructors at Salon Professional Academy SAVED MY HAIR!! They took a lot of time and made sure my highlights and lowlights were done correctly and did an excellent job getting my haircut looking good.

    I am currently a student of the salon professional academy and if you havent yet checked it out for your interest in the cosmetology field, I would ASAP ! Its a crisp, clean enviroment, experienced instructors who give you one on one teaching and care about your interest in this art. Classes are small and the bonds that you build with each and every one of the students is incredible ! I love that I choose this school and you should check it out for yourself !

    My boy Rob does amazing work with clippers and a straight razor. Fades like a boss, beard trim was on point, and razor work was phenomenal. Only down side was an instructor that was rude, made inappropriate comments to students and customers. I will go back only to support my boy, but once he leaves so will I.
