I have unfortunately suffered with unwanted hair on my face and neck for years, I plucked and tweezed shaved it, it would grow back even faster not only did I have the hair I also had bad hyperpigmentation so everwhere I had hair I had a black mark all over my face and neck. Makeup didnt even cover them, with that said I search for a solution online to my problem and came across Bay Harbor It has been the best thing that has happened to me. I immediately started treating hyperpigmentation with products formulated to clear it up and lasar hair removal I am almost 100% free of facial hair and my skin has cleared so much Im not ashamed or embarrassed any more. Let me put this simple. Eva Taub the owner of bay harbor med spa is God sent! This woman is VERY knowledgeable when it comes to skin care and especially with Black skin. Having my consultation with her for laser hair removal was a breath of fresh air, she was thorough and did not rush through it. My first session was a little painful but it was fine after my nerves calmed down. The spa is super clean and cozy. The location is right next to a public parking garage for your convenience. She has a YouTube channel that shows all the work she does and testimonials from other patients I definitely recommend you check it out because that’s what sold me and made me finally decide to book. I look forward to my next treatment!

Doing laser hair with Eva was the best decision I couldve made! I have excess facial hair due to PCOS, and wanted to be cautious as to where I sought treatment because of my dark skin. After watching several of her videos, I decided to consult with Eva. I have been seeing Eva for over a year now, and have seen a huge reduction in my facial hair. The hair that grows in between sessions is very minimal, and I have to shave much less often. I have also started the skin lightening regimen to address the dark spots caused by many years of shaving and ingrown hairs. My family and friends have noticed the visible difference since I have started the treatments, and Im looking forward to seeing my continued improvement and results!

Im writing this review because you need to know, you do not have to suffer in silence. You do not have to walk with your head held low. You do not have to turn your head in a certain angle to avoid the stares or questions of you having a beard. I was there. I was the girl shaving and worrying about a five oclock shadow. I was the woman using Nair because it gave me a cleaner shave but overtime grew a sensitivity to it so I switched over to the Sensitive Nair. The sensitive Nair didnt work as well and it still burned. And yes, I did use it as the bottle instructed. Ive tried threading. Thats a whole new level to the meaning of pain is beauty. Ive tried waxing. The worse feeling of having to let your hair grow long enough to be waxed and leave the salon with part of your skin missing because the wax was too hot or skin too thin because of the prior treatments. At least thats what the technician told me. That teen to adult female battling with unwanted facial hair, that was me! This is my story! This may be your story now but it doesnt have to be. There is hope. There is a better solution that will give long lasting results. If you take advantage of the services that Eva provides at Bayharbour Medspa, you wont regret it. My only regret thus far is that I havent found Eva sooner. Why? you ask, because Eva uses a special laser treatment that targets dark hairs that is safe for dark melanated skin. When you begin growing gray hairs, you now need another hair removal technique called electrolysis prior to the laser hair treatment. You may be wondering, is it worth it? 1000x yes! One of the best facials Ive ever had in my entire life coupled with an infrared sauna treatment. I had their guided meditation relaxation facial which was divine and mind altering; not to mention a very thorough cleaning of my blemishes. The infrared treatment was the cherry on the top. Utter pleasure. The best day for my mind and spirit in quite some time! This busy mom will be back once a month and will only have Avas amazing hands treat my face! I originally went in thinking I would get laser hair removal treatments; but, during a much informative consultation, I was told that because my hair is so light, I was not a candidate. I met a nice young man who was about to leave, he overhead that I was inquiring about laser treatments, and proceeded to tell me how happy he was with his results. I didnt end up having laser treatments. I left and was impressed by the level of integrity. A few weeks later I called to schedule a microdermabrasion with ultrasound face treatment- the most incredible face treatment ever!!!! bay harbour med spa is by far the best skin care provider i have ever gone too. I split my time between Sarasota and Miami Beach- no matter where I travel in the world, I will always remain a loyal client to bay harbour med spa! (2013) I ended this review about a year ago. I am back to elaborate: It is now Sept. 2013, and I literally have the most beautiful, clear and glowing skin. I am a life-time client. Today was my first visit to Bay Harbor Med Spa and it was great. I went to get microblading service and i wasn’t really sure what i was getting into. The lady that did my service was very nice and friendly. She explained everything to me before she did it so I was never in the dark. She even let me lay down while my face was numbing to help with my hangover. The service was quick and she was very gentle. My brows look amazing!!!! Totally worth every penny. The spa was clean, open, and staff was very friendly. I will be going back!

Best laser hair removal in Miami! Heres why: 1. Super clean. 2. Superior service from start to finish: I called several establishments and only two took the time to answer my questions. Bay harbour med spas consultation was over 35 minutes long. The other place gave me maybe 10 minutes. What set the two apart? Bay harbour med spa asked me about my health history. Because of a certain medication I was taking, they told me I was not a candidate and that I had to wait six months. WOW!!!! I went home did my research and it would have been highly ineffective if I had proceeded with laser treatments-- that means, if no one asked me about my health history, I would have waisted a lot of time and money, and perhaps put my health in jeopardy. I, of course, came back to bay harbour med spa after 9 months and started laser hair removal treatments 3. Even though I have quite a bit to go, I am on my fifth treatment, and I can see a vast improvement. I obviously highly recommend them! :-)

I am from Los Angeles--- where youd think the Beverly Hills spas would provide you with superb face and body treatments. All thats powered behind them is a really good marketing team and words and phrases that make the treatment sound incredible; but, the results-- mediocre. Well, spending the past month in Miami I was lucky to have found Bay Harbour Med Spa. The most, and I mean the MOST INCREDIBLE face treatments Ive ever had. My skin has never looked to so clear and gorgeous before. I regret I cant get laser done here because I live in LA, but let me tell you something-- I got the most thorough explanation about what my expectations should be. They spent 20 minutes going over my health history (know full well they would not get me as a monthly client because I dont live in Miami). I went to several LA places for laser, and none of them took the time to explain the process thoroughly to me. I opted for one laser treatment and was amazed at how professional, clean and patient they were during the treatment. They took their time with me and I now know what to look for in LA in an establishment that offers laser hair removal treatments. I highly highly recommend Bay Harbour Med Spa.

I can walk around and job shirtless without being embarassed of a hairy back. I live in NYC but fly into Miami every few weeks for work. I had several laser hair removal treatments in NYC and it was a disaster. Waste of money and no results. I finished my series of treatments at Bay Harbour Med Spa and have some random hair growth. They kept their word of guaranteed services and always get accomodate my free follow-up treatments without much if any delays. Although I live in Trinidad full time, I visit the gulf coast and South Florida a couple of times per month. My skin was rough, and lifeless from being out in the sun all the time. I need a proper mans facial to help rejuvinate my skin. I go in for regular microderambrasion and oxygen facials at bay harbour med spa, and will never go anywhere else. Yes, I pay a bit more, than most places Ive been to, but the quality of the face treatments are incomparable! I also recently started laser hair removal on my upper chest and shoulders and see a vast reduction. The treatments are comfortable, not painful as I initially thought. I have been to quite a few places for facials, none compare to bay harbour med spa. I am really happy that my rough skin texture has been smoothed out a bit-- I look a little less off putting. :-)

Fantastic Spa! While vacationing in Miami over the weekend I visted Bay Harbour Med Spa. I have been suffering from adult acne and rosacea. I explain my insecurities with the blemishes on my face and if they offer treatments that can help improve the overall appearance of my skin. They advised the Vampire Facial & Microdermabrasion. I am amazed with the results just after ONE treatment!(please see pics) They were extremely knowledgable about different treatments and took the time to listen to what my expectations and needs are. I was pleased that she recommends what is appropriate to treat my skins needs but doesnt go overboard trying to oversell products...something I find annoying with most spas! The spa itself is clean with a pleasant atmosphere. Cant say enough about the ladies...very sweet and professional. Would definitely recommend to anyone interested in improving their skin quality or just wanting a simple spa treatment. Also try their body contouring and body wrap🤗. I have already made my appointment to come back in December to try some of the other services they offer!

What a great place! The staff is wonderful, the environment is gorgeous and they have great european skin care treatments! I was a bit reluctant to have laser hair removal treatments again, after my last horrific experience with another med spa. The woman was comforting and knowledgeable and did a great job. Not only did they use a natural numbing method, the pain in the near to intimate area was tolerable. I am not going to lie, its not pain free (which is why I am only giving 4 stars), but its definitely pain you can tolerate. I am small and petite, and if I can take it, anyone can! They have all of the latest equipment. I now have very fine baby hair, peach fuss. They stood by their guarantee, and never push me off when I call for touch up!!!! I tell all my friends and family about bay harbour med spa.

I have four gorgeous daughters under the age of 8. With that, comes loose skin that needed to be tightened up. Oh, yeah, some cellulite too.... Ive done a series of vela shape treatments and Im so excited about the results. Im in good shape, so I know this helps too, but, theres no denying that having them do a thorough one hour treatment three times a week totally did the trick. Truly the best cleansing facial EVER this past Saturday. Thanks for taking the time (close to two hours) to clean an clear my face. I have never experienced such a thorough blemish cleansing facial. Ive taken the time out to write about Avas amazing clarifying microdermabrasion facials. Now I want to specifically write a review for women who are approaching their 40s and having to deal with embarrassing chin hair. I am one of them. Theyre unsightly and darn bothersome! 4 laser hair removal treatments have come and gone, and I am the happiest I could ever be. I am well on my way to having chin hairs that were sooooooo coarse, become null, obsolete, or baby fine. What amazes me is that Ava resisted for so long, until I saw an endocronologist and a bio-identical hormone physician. She was convinced a lot of it had to deal with hormones, and she was right. Once I got clearance to continue with laser hair removal treatments, there wasnt anyone else Id trust in the world with my face and health than bay harbour med spa!
