My hair is in such better health after visiting D-Spot! I randomly found this salon on Google and thank goodness I did. Demetra took her time to thoroughly care for my hair. She recommended I do a keratin treatment to help with all the humidity in Miami. I’m so happy I listened to her! My hair is so soft and shiny now. No more frizz!! It’s been a couple weeks so I’ve had some time to really feel the effects of the treatment and I am hooked!! The haircut I received is superb as well! I highly recommend Demetra at D-Spot!

So I decided to make a change one day and do something completely different with my hair. I took a chance on Demetra and I couldn’t have been happier. Not only did the whole Balayage come out perfect but even the cut was just how I wanted. Prior to doing anything, she sat with me and completely made sure it was what I was going to want. Months after the cut, several of my friends kept asking me who had done my hair. I wish I was exaggerating, but this woman is amazing! Her vibe is always so positive and makes you feel so comfortable the whole time she’s with you! Can’t wait to come back and retouch it all again! 10/10 recommend!

Its easy to give bad reviews, but the person Demetra is, the good work she does and her professionalism demands the highest praise. The way she handled my appointment after the lockdown was lifted was flawless. Not only was she working outside of her normal hours to accommodate me and make me feel comfortable, but she took my temperature, had me wash my own hands, wouldnt allow anything brought into the salon, required a mask and wore one herself under her face shield for double protection and I saw her sanitizing everything after I was through. I felt extremely safe in her very clean studio. Lets talk about the service now. I lost all of my hair and it recently started growing back curly. Demetra has always confidently taken the lead with no direction from me with cut or style and I always leave more than happy. She knows I dont do styling and Im very low maintenance, so she always cuts my hair in a way that allows me to simply wash and go. The thing I love the most is that she educates me about how to take care of my hair every time... giving me very useful tips and hints on how to maximize my look without damaging my hair. Thats real cool and so is she. Theres no one else Id refer in Raleigh and I lived there for 35 years. Go get you some hairapy!!!

I have 2 sets of Wahl Clippers and I have cut my own hair for the past 12 years because I dont trust anyone else to do it.Demetra is the first person I let cut my hair(because she is very persuasive and persistent and it took a year of convincing)....and it was the best hair cut I ever got. Now I make sure to see her at least once a month and before special occasions. She works with your natural hair texture to make it do what it naturally does rather than whatever the current trend is. Also she keeps me entertained with good conversation the whole time:)Anyone who rates her less than 5 stars is a fool.

Gone are the days of my hair being a frizzy hot mess... gone are the days of not jumping in the pool with my kiddos to avoid the dreaded task of blow drying and flat ironing my coarse, thick, frizzy hair back into an acceptable style...no more! I have been asked at several salons over the years to try straightening treatments and I always said no - I dont want my hair to lose all of its texture or be so straight that I dont look like myself - I just want the frizz gone! After going to the fabulous Demetra for a few years and having such a consistent experience of great cuts, color and blow outs (that really last!)...she gave me information about a smoothing treatment that would smooth my hair, leave it feeling and looking more healthy with my natural texture intact. Let me tell you .. GAME CHANGER!! I never thought I would be a wash and go gal, but I am now a proud member of that club. Since I had the treatment nearly 2 months ago - I have used the flat iron ZERO times and actually only pull out the blow drier to direct my waves in the front the way I like... we are talking 5 minutes if anything at all! As a full time working mom of 3 and as a women that just wants her hair to be an afterthought... this has truly changed my life. It has given me back precious TIME. Demetria is an amazing stylist and a lifesaver. I recently moved to Raleigh and hadn’t found a salon yet. A co-worker suggested I just run into Super Cuts since I basically just needed a trim. I don’t even have words to describe how bad my hair was messed up. I was on the verge of tears. I drove around looking for a salon that was still open. I arrived at D-Spot 5 minutes before the shop closed. Mind you, I was not a regular customer, but Demetria stayed and not only corrected my haircut but colored it as well.
