I even got a compliment from a stranger on my way home! I hope I can snag Jim for my next appointment!

I had a haircut and blow-dry with Yanet today. I couldn’t be happier with the results! She always takes the time to understand exactly what I want. When I’m undecided she offers helpful suggestions. The haircut turned out even better than I expected, with perfect layers that suit my face shape. The blow-dry left my hair feeling soft, smooth, and full of volume. The salon atmosphere is alway clean and relaxing. The staff is always friendly and professional. An additional perk that I love is the front desk staff offers me tea when I arrive. Right when you walk in the door, you are offered a lovely selection of drinks, from sparkling water to delicious tea or Prosecco. My hair stylist Jessica was excellent!! I got the BEST color correct my first time by Lynette and then she did the Keratin Express Blowout and I’m in complete awe. And it takes a lot to impress me!! I spent so much more money on such less quality. I walked out of the shower in the Miami unbearable heat (with Uber curly frizzy hair) and let it air dry and it looks like I went to a blowout bar and got my hair done. The place is a keeper and an 11 out of 10. I won’t ever go elsewhere. And Lynette is a goddess. Finally a win for a me finding a salon I love. 💕

Molika did an excellent job with my cut and keratin treatment today. She understood exactly what I was looking for to help my thick, naturally curly hair. I went in with a shapeless cut and lots of frizz. She truly transformed my hair. It looks healthy, bouncy and the cut will make it much easier to style on my own. If you are a curly girl and struggle in this Miami humidity, I highly recommend Molika. I am so pleased with my experience and thrilled to have finally found someone who understands curls.

My name is Sarah. I picked Yanet because a friend told me she was a hair professional and I began following her IG account and saw some of her work. Yanet was very attentive and patient. I showed her a picture of what I thought I could do to my hair and asked her for feedback. She explained the process of how to style on my own and realized it may be too much to maintain, volume wise, so we decided for something else. I felt pampered from the moment she washed my hair until she cut the last bit of hair. She is truly a professional of her craft and I felt like she treated my hair with special care, and with her attention to detail I came out looking renewed. I highly recommend her. The salon smelled divine the moment you walked in, as a spa, and was offered something to drink by the front desk. I look forward to my next hair appointment with Yanet.

Lynnette is fantastic! Always incredibly pleased with her haircut and highlighting skills. Been going to her for 2 and a half years and shes the only person I trust to cut my hair since my haircut is very complicated and I am very very picky. She is very patient and accommodating to how I am very picky and simultaneously not always sure what I want (yes, I know those contradict eachother). Shes the best! Always enjoy seeing her and talking to her, I highly recommend her services to anyone with a complex haircut and/or difficult hair and also to people who want a perfect natural looking blonde hair color. Adriana is amazing at crafting the perfect pixie cut for me and helped me find the perfect color blend to complement it! Book early...shes in demand! When I got engaged, I also turned to the salons makeup services for the big day. One makeup trial with Hector was all I needed to be convinced that this team was going to be my go to on the big day! The wedding is in three days and I feel so confidant that they know exactly what I am looking for! In addition, their customer service is on pointe all the time! The staff at the front desk are friendly, they remember my name and who I am there to see, and they always offer me a tea while I wait (which is never long). I would give this salon the highest recommendation....6 stars if it was an option!

I havent been as a client of the salon but I went last week to get products, and the experience was amazing. I used to purchased in Aventura but closed. Now my go-to store will be here forever. I was attended by Mercedes the manager and her service was very professional and knowledgeable. Ive been going to DetLev since 2005. I even moved to Broward but have not been able to find anyone close who provides the same quality service. The stylists are experienced and know what they are doing. You can see it as soon as you walk in the door, everyone has great hair even the receptionist. Jim has been my stylist since 2010. No one knows more about hair. color. Ive had Ombres that last more than 9 months with him and I still get compliments on how great the color is. Nothing beats DetLev! And I continue to drive an hour to see them because of it.

Great Salon but I will explain....I originally met Chantel at a Salon In Miami. When I called to set up an appointment while I was on vacation I discovered Chantel no longer worked there.
