Amazing service and confidence boost every time here! From tea and coffee while you do your hair to being incredibly talented and friendly. Not to mention—Personally I have found this salon more affordable compared to others with their constant referral deals and their ability to go above and beyond for what you pay for.Alyssa P. is great at what she does! She successfully revived my hair using an AVEDA treatment, bringing beautiful curls and waves I didn’t even know I had. She took the time to explain to me which hair type I seemed to have, and gave me an extensive routine on how to maintain it. You can tell her work is her art. I can confidently say this is becoming my go-to salon and stylist. Thank you SO much! ❤️ -

I needed a blowout during my stay in Miami. Ive been an Aveda customer for about 20 years. This salon did not disappoint!! My appointment was with Alyssa P and she did a great job. Her scalp massage was very lovely at the sink. She took time to dry my waist length hair to completion! The cost was a bargain too! PS there is an actual parking lot, which was nice. I walked right in from the adjacent lot and didnt have to go on an adventure to park! I highly recommend this Aveda Salon! -

It was my first time getting my hair dyed, and my mom had recommended this place which she had gotten her highlights from for years. When I went today Dianne helped me. She is very sweet and so kind, she took extremely good care of me and I love how the hair turned out (I got thick highlights with iris color and tips cut). Definitely my favorite place when it comes to hair! Will be coming back :) -

I’ve been going to Edward James Aveda Salon for five years now and it has been my saving grace! Patricia G. Has helped me through some rough hair times, introduced me to products that fit my hair needs and even treatments that have made my hair stronger and healthier than ever! I used to be afraid of keratin but, I knew I could trust Patricia and all the amazing products they use at this salon. My hair is very frizzy, curly by the roots and wouldn’t grow past my shoulders. With the Aveda products and Patricia’s expertise, now my hair is wayyyy longer than I’ve ever had it’s soooo healthy, I love it! I highly recommend Patricia. She really listens to you, she knows her stuff and is always advancing her hair knowledge and techniques by taking all these additional trainings.I really love everything this salon has to offer starting with the products that have totally revamped the condition of my hair and ending with the people, everyone is always willing to help you with any questions you have and cater to your hair needs! Love Edward James Salon, I’m definitely a lifer!! Check out my before and after pics.Update on review - I got balayage highlights a few of months ago and am still getting compliments on how they look. They look so natural that I don’t need to touch them up. It was the first time I did highlights and was a little nervous but Patricia really listens to what you want and does a great job at making it happen! I’ve been going to Yanet for about 6 years now, and she always leaves me speechless and goes above and beyond what I told her I would like! Believe me I’ve showed it all to her LOL! From layers, curtain bangs, to all kinds of celebrity makeup looks and (she just recently colored my hair for the first time) she always makes me feel beautiful and fulfilled anytime I leave the salon! Not only is her work magical, she is also one of the most fun people to have to sit and talk to for two hours in a salon chair. I’ve never gone to her and had a moment of silence. Without a doubt I can guarantee you will leave your appointment with her feeling more than satisfied. -

I’m extremely satisfied with the service at Edward James Salon. Patricia is an amazing hair stylist, she’s very professional and very knowledgeable. No matter how bad your hair is, you’re gonna leave the salon looking like a movie start. About 2 years ago my hair started getting curly and Patricia has been on point on all her tips, suggestions and specially the haircuts. I’m very grateful to have her as my hair stylist. -

I have used Aveda products for the past 30+ years and have always wanted to visit this long established salon. A few weeks ago, my daughter and I both had our first appointments at Edward James for one color process. The salon has a wonderful down to earth vibe with the signature Aveda scent in the air. Everyone is friendly and very attentive. Prior to our scheduled color bookings, my daughter and I were kindly given individual consultations with Taryn. I was extremely apprehensive about getting my hair colored due to an injury to my scalp. Taryn was thoughtful and patient in helping both my daughter and I chose the right colors. My daughter was thrilled with her results! Her hair looked healthy and natural and the color was an exact match to the pictures shared with Taryn. My color was exceptionally more beautiful than I had anticipated. The gentle but full coverage hair color did not aggravate my skin. Thank You! Cannot wait to schedule me next appointment. -

I spent a lot of time looking for a new salon/hair stylist because I’ve honestly never had that WOW moment after a haircut. I have curly hair that I blow dry straight about 40% of the time, so I need a cut that works for both curly and straight styles - not easy! I did my research and loved what I saw online about Edward James, so I booked an appointment and I can 100% say that I have found MY salon! Everything from the amazing customer service, the Aveda products, the whole vibe of the salon is amazing. The best part, of course, was the amazing cut and style that I got from Arlene. She took the time to listen to what I wanted, show me where every layer would fall curly or straight, and gave me the most A-MAZING wash and scalp massage ever. My appointment was Friday but I wanted to wait 2 days to wash and dry my hair with the diffuser. My curls look awesome and full of volume. Amazing job! I’m so happy I booked my next appointment three months from now. No doubt I’m coming back! -

My super tricky hair has given many stylists fits ...but Patricia handles it like a ninja....She has been cutting it since she first graduated from the Aveda Institute. The progression of her skill has been amazing to see. I live out of town, but I refuse to let anyone else touch it. Her cut is so awesome, even when it grows out it still falls beautifully. ...Her customer for life! -

I have been coming to this salon since 2014. My stylist name is Julie. Friendly and helpful staff. They offer all aveda products which are all natural. They are really attentive by offering water or coffee. I moved however, I will make the drive for their quality of work. -

I’m from NY and was in Miami for a week and I wanted to touch up my Balayage. After extensive research for “best” Balayage places, I came across Edward James salon. The reviews were great and they were rated 5 stars so I decided to take a chance and give this salon a try and boy am I happy that I did! I was booked with Taryn. She is AH-MAZING! She listened to everything I said and gave me exactly what I wanted! I absolutely love the color she gave me which in my opinion is not easy to achieve. She also gave me a great cut. I am beyond happy with the service! The salon was very professional and friendly. I definitely recommend them. -

This is my go to hair salon! The staff is amazing and knowledgable I would recommend Taryn she is so sweet and recommends great products to improve you hair. They offer hair, waxing, and nail services. The products they offer are all natural which I love! The parking is alittle tight in this shopping center but other than that great salon! -

A hidden Gem!! I love this salon. My daughter and I have been doing our color and style here for about 6mths now. The moment you walk in the scent of nature and herbs from the Aveda products relax you. Front desk offers you Aveda’s own herbal tea or water while you wait. Every stylist here is knowledgeable and accommodating, they truly want you to look great. Even on a Saturday when it’s busy, the salon feels peaceful and cozy. They offer a rewards program directly with Aveda which earns points for discounts on services and as you earn you can use them to buy some of the Aveda products for home use. Even for my birthday back in May, I received a free Natural Aroma Scalp and body Oil! I can go on and on about how wonderful this place is. There’s a reason why have a perfect 5! -

Wonderful Aveda Salon! They really offer up that great Aveda service! My stylist Arlene, is very experienced in color matching and styling. Vanessa, the asst who does shampoo gives the most amazing head massage of any Aveda salon I have visited throughout the US! (And I have been to many!) All in all a wonderful experience that brings me back here every time I am in Miami! -

Ive been going to Mavis Alexander for over 25 years and she never gives me the same cut twice. Her imagination is unparalleled and her artistry with the scissors is equal to anyone.
