My lord, Jota! Not enough space to write how much i adore this human as a friend and a hair stylist.10 years and counting. i’ll never let anyone ever touch my hair after working with him. I have followed him salon to salon because there is no one like him. Went from blue black to the most beautiful california light brown bayalage. heaven sent! my family, friends, and people stop me for my hair and now have started working with him. not only is he a lovely soul but he has a vision and he can execute it. The energy and the feel is spot on.thanks for always making me feel beautiful, confident, and glowing. i wouldn’t trade you for the world. xx!!

I wish I could leave 10 stars! The entire salon is so friendly and beyond talented! I was looking for someone to color my hair for years after moving to Miami from NYC, one stylist was worse than the next, I went to over 6-7 different salons and by the end my hair was fried and so damaged! In 3 visits Jota completely transformed my hair, it’s now the most beautiful blonde, it doesn’t fade, and my hair is the longest it’s ever been in my life! I can’t say enough good things about him, he’s a miracle worker!Jota’s entire team, the staff and the owner are the nicest people, it’s just such a pleasure to spend time with them, laughing, joking, while they make you beautiful! I look forward to these visits, my only regret is not finding it sooner!

Im new to the Grove so decided to try Ela salon. I booked with Ricky and have to rave about my experience. It’s impossible to find a reliable blonde colorist in Miami who doesn’t over process and damage your hair. Ricky did such an amazing job and my color came out perfectly highlighted just like a natural blonde. I really appreciated the fact that Ricky colored, washed, cut AND blow dried my hair himself. Unlike other salons that pass you around to 3 different people and then you are expected to tip all 3! I also really liked that I walked in and I asked to cut 4-6 inches off my hair and Ricky refused and only agreed to do 2 inches at the beginning and then told me “we can always cut more after the color if you want”. This shows that he cares and wants his clients to be cautious but happy. I kinda hit the jackpot by discovering Ricky and ELA salon so soon after I moved here. Ela salon has the best ambiance and you are always catered to your entire visit. Jota does both my color and cut and in my opinion is the best hairstylist in miami! My last visit, Jota did my color and Antonio did my cut and blowdry with waves and did a phenomenal job. Always come out feeling amazing!!

Where to begin! From the moment you walk in, you are treated with such care and warmth. The management team is so welcoming and they make it enjoyable for you to be there with the one of a kind coffee and soundtrack. My stylist, Jota is the BALAYAGE KING! I have finally found someone who knows what they are doing and elaborates on ideas. His counter part Iris was equally as sweet and professional. They accommodated my every need and truly exceeded my expectations. ELA Salon has gained a longtime client. THANK YOU from a mommy who needed the love!

I wanted to thank all of you at ELA Salon. My experience was only the BEST! It was a very warm and welcoming atmosphere and a very relaxed ambiance. The owner is Beautiful, and humble. Her husband is welcoming and professional. Yris was so sweet and tender. Ricky gives the salon style and laughter. The Dominican nail technician was so sweet, and playful with my little girl as she waited.Jota was a gentleman, a star, an artist! He was the reason why I was there. I did so much searching and searching, until I found the perfect one, and it was him. I went for an OMBRE/Balayage, something very complicated, and JOTA was the one! He did a perfect job. He did exactly what I wanted. I am very gratful for him. He is amazing, and so professional. Only he could have done what I wanted. What I wanted is not very common, but he did it!

I drive from Palm Beach Gardens to Coconut Grove to get my hair done. Ela is absolutely fabulous. My hair has never looked better. She does both my haircut and color.The salon is always spotless, and the whole staff is extremely welcoming and friendly.

Truce is the real one! My wife and I came into town and she jumped at the opportunity to see Truce to get her hair done. I’m not one that typically notices this stuff, but the outcome is amazing. If you visit this salon or are in town looking to get your hair done - ask for Truce!
