This barbershop is extremely family friendly. Rome always takes care of me (haircut and beard trim) and does a great job. I used to switch between barbershops to go with whatever was nearby, but I go out of my way to go here because the customer service and vibes are on point, as are the haircuts. Amazing cuts and even more amazing people here! They are so kind and welcoming. I’m so glad I found this place. My 3 year old was getting horrible cuts from the local kids cut places and Rome fixed him right up.His haircuts are so good that I’ve had adults take pictures of it to show to their barbers because they want the same style. At first my son cried because because obviously this is a barbershop, and not filled with rocket ship chairs and cartoons, but now my son loves it here so much that even when he is not in need of a haircut, he wants to pass by to say hello to his “friends”

Family friendly barbershop. Owned by an American Dominican. Most, if not all their barbers have years of experience. Jorge is amazing always booked and with reason. On short notice they got me in a chair. Charlie was my Barber/Artist and his work was/is tight as hell. He took my disheveled Santa-esque beard and made it look so good, I wint cut it off now. Charlie impressed the hell outta me. Also, while watching around the room every single barber is of similar caliber. Their attention to detail is above and beyond and their prices are phenomenal as well. Will definitely use these guys again, as the atmosphere, the people, and the prices are on point.

Family owned barbershop… great haircuts but even better people. Highly recommend for the Palmetto Bay and cutler bay residents. I still remember one of my first visits to the shop, right after Irma. Talking with the owner Rome about all the damage, and immediately offered to help, bring his chainsaw to chop trees, anything to just help someone in need. This barbershop is awesome! The barbers are all great, friendly, and most of all, do a wonderful job cutting hair. After bad experiences at other barbers, I was so thankful to come across this barbershop. Romes amazing skills caught my eye due to noticing some cool designs on a friends sons hair. They referred me to Rome and we have been hooked ever since. One of my boys always puts Romes skills to the test and he has yet to disappoint! They are very family friendly as well. Rome, his wife Alex, their beautiful boys, and of course, their talented barbers, have created the best barbershop around town!

Ive been getting my hair cut here with Rome for almost a year, and every cut has been a great experience. I had not settled at a specific barber since 2 years back when my previous barber migrated to another state. I chanced upon GC Miami Barbers Shave & Grooming Co last month. My first impression of the place is the cleanliness. It gives me a comfortable and settled down feel. Rome was my barber then and he did a good job in communicating with me about my preferred hairstyle. He also gave me some tips and advise in taking care of my scalp and hair products. I went back again last week for my regular haircut and was equally pleased with the experience. I think I have finally found a regular barber to settle down for a long time.

Came as a walk-in after letting my stylist give me an undercut (note to self: my stylist does great layers, horrible clipper designs) I was warmly greeted and attended to right away. GC is clean, beautiful and the employees there are all very nice. Rome did an amazing job fixing and even improving upon my disastrous clipper design and I had wonderful company chatting with his wife Alex and their baby boy.As a woman I have been to several barbershops and felt uneasy: crude jokes, unprofessional behavior, vulgar music or movies on TV, stares, etc. This is NOT that type of establishment. GC Miami is a wonderful family barbershop in Palmetto Bay. I felt so at ease, and my experience so positive, I took my 8 year old daughter in a few days later to shave her head as well.I am happy to support this local business and spread the word. Couple weeks back I show up first thing in the morning with my little brother who desperately needed a haircut asap as he only had an hour to be at the airport to catch his flight (yes, we procrastinated). I felt compelled to leave a review after seeing someone post a 2 star review, calling these guys basic and over priced. Its almost laughable these days, the expectations one has when they walk into a barbershop. Not sure if the last reviewer was going to a circus to get his haircut, but I can assure you, unless you want these guys to pull a rabbit out of a hat (which they wont do) they are far from basic! Ive been coming here for a couple of years now and have seen these guys cut every style under the sun, and do it with the up most passion and professionalism....(which is a rarity in the barbershop these days!) Not only is Rome and his team professional, but they are genuine family men who truly care about their customers and craft. As soon as you walk in to this place, you can feel the unique vibe they have created. No cursing or disrespectful conversations, just laughs and a wholesome family feel.And as for over priced....well, 20 bux for a haircut seems fair to me, but if youre used to the 10 dollar hood price, then this isnt the place for you. But just so you know, that 20 bux includes, free wifi, free coffee, free entertainment, free therapy, and free confidence boost! Do yourself a favor....ignore what that other guy said, (because he obviously was having a bad day) and read through all the other reviews, including the one I found on Yelp...(the guy literally said his barber was using tools he had never seen in a barbershop before...hows that for basic..lol) and go check these guys out! I want to give a shout out to my barbers at GC Miami. I had to shave my beard off for work last night and had a slip up with my electric razor. I cut off a huge chunk of my side burn just below the top part of my ear. I looked like I was a member of the three stooges. I know my usual barber, Rome, was all booked up today but I stopped by anyway to see what they can do for me. They were able to fit me in at 6 with a barber named Jean. I’m picky as hell when it comes to my haircut and who touches my hair so I was a little iffy about letting somebody else cut my hair but this was an emergency. Jean wasn’t phased at all by it and gave me a damn good cut which is what I’m used to at GC Miami. All of the barbers there are really talented and are cool guys. I highly recommend going to GC Miami if your looking for a new barber or looking to try a new style. They have years of experience collectively and will make sure you look good.Most definitely the best barbershop in town. The staff is friendly and always make sure I look great. I’ve been cut by three different barbers there and they’ve all done a great job. Rome is my go to guy but you’ll be happy with any of the barbers there. It’s a clean, family friendly environment as well.

BEST spot in Cutler Bay/Palmetto Bay for a cut and shave. Been doing my hair with Benji the past several years and Ive always been very satisfied with his cuts but you cant go wrong with anyone there. They mostly work by appointments which is great and they are very punctual to stay on schedule. Would recommend this shop to anyone, took my brother in law from out of town there for his pre-wedding trim and he was very satisfied.
