I went to Kat because I always saw her amazing haircuts and blowouts online. I was really nervous about getting a cut since I used to have long hair and had a terrible experience before. Honestly, it feels like a lot of hairstylists don’t know how to handle long hair properly. But Kat is the best! She’s super fun, professional, and really listens to what you want. She took the time to ask questions before pulling out the scissors, and I’m so glad she did. She did an awesome job, and even after two months, my hair still looks and feels incredible! She really made me happy with the results.

I live this place. What I love is the owners actually take the new grads and mentor and coach them. They look like family. Roxy has done my hair for the last 2 times and she is beyond awesome. Roxy listens to the clients and she puts her spin on it. Today she fixed me up so well. I actually felt pretty when she was done. She has a great personality. Thank you Roxy. You are amazing.

I haven’t been coming here for too long and found this literal hidden gem because of their Tuesday/Wednesday blow dry promo. The first time Roxy blowdried my hair to perfection! She took the time to ask me what brought me in and what I liked, so naturally I confided in her that I had ZERO idea how to tend to my new extensions and the way she scrubbed my hair CLEAN and gave me a perfect blow out was 10/10.The second time was with Marco and let me tell you the massage this man gives during the wash was all I needed to feel brand new. The blow out was great too but if I could just have him wash my hair like that every time, oh my god.I haven’t been back because honestly it’s a bit far from me but every time I’m in that area I’ll be visiting.

In the past, I would only get haircuts/highlights once a year as a treat to myself. After Millie cut my hair I realized I just never had a good haircut before. Millie is a curly hair expert and gave me my dream wedding hair. She scheduled a consultation with me beforehand to go over my hair vision and she nailed it. Now I’m actually excited to get my hair cut instead of being scared or nervous. I know I can trust Millie to make me feel beautiful. I plan to start getting my hair cut more frequently now every three months instead of once a year. I highly recommend Millie to all curly haired girlies. She’s truly amazing and so sweet. The whole experience was so fun and relaxing. The pictures below show my hair brushed out before the process started then the balayage and blow out after and the last picture is my wedding day hair. I’m so happy with how it all turned out.

Honestly I couldn’t be more satisfied by the outcome & experience I had with hidden gem.Not only is there communication between you & the hairstylist but, also in between the hairstylist themselves. They ask each other for their professional advice to make sure they achieve your inspiration hair goals or what they can manage in order to keep the integrity of your hair. Liz was absolutely professional & kind to me & to her coworkers which I loved. They are attentive to you, offer you beverages and care for your comfort. The salon is owned & employed by young beautiful woman which is amazing. You’re left at ease knowing these ladies understand & can do modern trends. Like I told them, this is the first time I leave a salon 100% satisfied by everything. Can’t thank you guys enough 😭❤️

My best friend recommended this place to me and I couldnt be happier. I wanted to find a hair stylist who was very good and had a lot of good energy to cut my ends so that my hair can grow back even healthier. Karina attended me and she did a trim and long layers for me. She truly did a wonderful job. She was kind and professional and had great energy! I think it is the best haircut Ive ever had. The studio was very clean and modern. Everyone was very nice. I highly recommend this studio and suggest you ask for Karina.

This place truly lives up to its name. Wonderful salon for a great price. I drive almost an hour to go here about every 4-6 months. Ive gotten my hair cut with Karina twice now, and its pin straight and very difficult to cut well. Shes clearly an expert and very knowledgeable about my unique hair type/needs. She did a great job layering and shaping my hair. Very happy with my results!

Amazing! I was so so nervous coming into this because I had long hair and I was scared of letting just anyone cut the layers I wanted to it. I never really leave reviews but I have to give credit where is due. I set up my first appointment with them because they were the only salon that responded to me quick and provided very good prices. I came in for full highlights and a cut. I was really nervous because it was my first time coloring my hair but Marianely reassure me I was in good hands. And she was right! My hair came out WAY better than what I expected. I never had my hair will so healthy and bouncy, the highlights came out so much nicer than what I pictured. I even bought their hair styling products because I love how my hair felt! I recommend them all the time now. Definitely will come back !

I havent been to the salon in a while because every time I go I have such a bad experience. But I had such an enjoyable time being here. Everyone is so friendly and the salon is gorgeous. Natalie did such a beautiful job with the look I was going for and helped me fit it to meet my personal style. The salon is a super clean and it definitely made me more comfortable seeing how clean they kept it. I will definitely be coming back more often for that relax feel good experience. ‍💇🏼‍♀️

Spectacular service at Hidden gem Beauty Bar! Karina Matto is a master at coloring and making sure you get what you want. Shout out to Loren who is very passionate about helping anyone who needs it, she spent hours on my hair ( I have A LOT!) from helping with coloring, to washing, to drying, to curling. The vibe I got while there was fierce, smart, artistic women from all different backgrounds working together to make a killer team. All the other stylists were amazing as well! If you are scared like I was to find someone to care for my hair, look no further! Anyone who works on you at Hidden Gem will have you hooked and you’ll want to come back again and again. I am absolutely in love with my hair. Itza and her assistant are a dream team. My sister has been going to itza for a few years now so I knew it’s who I wanted to trust as well. They made sure I was comfortable and aware of everything during the process. Their hands are MAGIC! No pain or discomfort at any point. Everyone had an amazing attitude and I felt great the entire time I was there. They gave me clear and easy after care instructions and even when inquiring they explained everything really well so I could choose which treatment I felt would be best. Overall I can’t say enough nice things. Best salon in Miami, I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

So first off- Hidden Gem is exactly what it is - a salon full of gems. Everyone is so kind and welcoming. I went in for a hair consultation with Natalie. She was so sweet and explained that what I had thought I would need to do for my hair would not be possible and we would need another day for the full process. She further asked me if I would like to do a wash & hairstyle instead... guys let me say- hands down I LOVED THE RESULTS. She was very gentle , actually washed my hair unlike other places that ring the fingers through once and call it a wash (if you’ve experienced that then you know lol). She proceeded to blow dry my hair and styled it so effortlessly and quickly. My hair feels so full, soft, and smells SOOO good and it felt so good treating myself to that. 🤩🤩

Hidden Gem Beauty Bar is beyond amazing. These ladies saved my hair after a bad bleach job I did myself during Covid. I highly recommend you come here for any color job, I myself had a color correction. Which is didn’t even know what that was before I came in. They are clean, professional and explain price point and explain in detail the process. They also make sure that you are happy with the results before you leave. I am very pleased with the service provided. My hair came out way better than expected. I went in with orange hair and they did a color correction with Balayage, and OMG, it looks amazing! The place is beautifully decorated and so relaxing. Itzá really took a good look at my hair and without hesitation and lots of confidence did my Balayage. I showed her a picture and she did exactly what I wanted. My hair was shiny, and beautifully done. I met Itsy through Instagram and I am so glad I found her. She is so professional and caring. We met about 2 years ago and ever since we met I know she was thr best. She listens, recommends and is very respectful. This location is great, very clean, good prices and excellent services. All the other stylists are professional and each one very unique, bit my Isty is the best. Make your appointments in advance she is always booked 2 months in advance but she is so worth the wait 💗

My hair was so botched and uneven I didn’t think there was anything I could do, I went into the salon just to see if there was any possibility of fixing my hair. Nelly fixed my hair and it came out better than I could’ve ever imagined!!!! I almost walked out in tears walking out, I was so happy that she was able to fix it!!
