My go to hairdresser is Arlen, and all the hairdressers are amazing as well. The attention is on you and not different people at the same time. I will always recommend!

Jazmin is the absolute best! She completely transformed my hair, that was dry and full of highlights that did not suit me, to a color that I now love. Finally found the salon and stylist for me. It’s extremely hard finding a stylist who executes your vision and I’m so glad I found that with Suzy. Suzy literally understands and kills it every time I come in from the color and cut down to the blow dry. I promise no one has waved my hair like her and I’m obsessed. Definitely recommend the salon love the vibe in here and especially the Cuban cafecito that is a highly coveted if you’re lucky to be here around in the afternoon.

This is my first hair treatment with Alejandro and he did an amazing job. I brought him the look I wanted to achieve and he nailed it. Thoughtful and conversational. Gentle with my hair. Scalp massage was exactly what I needed today. I was super nervous to get my hair layered after finally getting it to grow past my shoulders. It took me 25 years to finally grow my hair to the middle of my back so certainly getting a cut was frightening. He put me at ease, gave me fresh layers without losing my length. Now my hair looks so much healthier. I will definitely rebook for future hair treatments. Highly recommend.

Hi, my name is Marilyn I’m in my 60s, I was attending a wedding in Coconut Grove. Haime-Ivan styled my hair, he suggested a roaring 20s look, it was spectacular and complimented my highlights. I had another stylist, Haime do my make up, absolutely beautiful, products were excellent. He also, did my mothers hair in a French twist, Beautiful. We both got so many compliments at the wedding, even the younger generation loved our make up and hair.

AMAZING salon!! If you’re looking for a salon in Miami you’ve found it. I recently had a partial balayage and cut with Suzie and am more than happy with the results. She’s so talented at her craft and a gem of a person! I’m very particular about my hair color looking natural, blended and overall brighter; Suzie listened to what I wanted and nailed it. 100% would recommend. 🙌Arleen the owner is so welcoming, kind and it’s clear she takes great care in being a business owner. 🤗They also have other services:- Eyebrows - lamination, wax, etc.- Lashes - perm, tint- Mani / PediI can’t wait to go back and try more!

I got a haircut, deep treatment and blow dry with curls at Hightlight in Coral Gables. I’m gonna says it was a wonderful experience. From the moment a got there it was a pleasure. My stylist was on time and ready to listen to what I needed. I explained everything and he recommended a deep treatment to hydrate my hair. All the staff seemed happy to be there so thay says a lot. The owner was very friendly and took the time to explain about Nutrafol which is a supplement I recently bought and I noticed they have there. The salon is super pretty and spotless. Very nice atmosphere and nice decoration. I’m happy and definitely continue to be a customer.

I brought my 20 year old son to get his first “grown-up” haircut. He has thick course hair so we have always been at a loss to how to cut and style it. The typical barber shop cut didn’t really work well for his hair texture and he wanted something that could be considered professional since he has been interviewing for jobs in his area of studies. We were recommended to come see Niurka and she worked magic on his hair! We are very happy with the final look.She also gave him directions on how to style and what products to use. First time at the salon, Alejandro took care of me. Simply, it’s the first time I’ve left a hair salon happy. He did exactly what I asked, which was really subtle highlights just to freshen up. He delivered incredibly, and was so personable and his quirky sense of humor was a plus. Beautiful blow out after and he insisted on curling. All in all, incredible experience! I got a color technique for the first time and haircut today and the results were beyond my expectations, the products that they used were high quality, my hair didnt suffer at all.I did it with Susie and she was very professional and patient with me, I showed her pictures of some ideas that I liked and what I didnt want to get and just let her did her job and it was absolutely amazing, totally understood what I was looking for, and the rest of the staff was very friendly as well. I cant recommend Highlight Salon and Spa enough! After hearing rave reviews, I scheduled a cut for my 15-year-old daughter with Suzie, who was highly recommended. While we were there, my daughter expressed wanting highlights. Although Suzie was fully booked for the day, she graciously rearranged our appointment and assigned Jazmin for my daughters balayage. Jazmin was phenomenal! She took the time to explain the process, especially considering it was my daughters first time coloring her hair, ensuring its protection for the future.Meanwhile, I had the pleasure of getting a fantastic cut with Suzie. She attentively listened to my hair goals and provided valuable insights for future appointments. The entire staff was wonderful, making our experience truly enjoyable. The salon is easily located in Coral Gables with plenty of parking close by. The entire staff is always very kind and welcoming. This was my first time having my haircut and treatment. You have to try Highlights Salon! Whether you are 8 or 80 you will definitely love this place. Jason at the front makes you feel like you are part of the Highlights family. Arleen took the time to ask my teen daughter what her hair issues were as well as how she wanted it cut and styled. We couldn’t be happier there! They also do various hair styles which is good to know for parties and weddings. They do makeup as well as facials too! Trying a new salon can be intimidating, but not here. After one visit, you will feel like you have been going there for years!

At first I went out of convenience because it was down the street from where I work, but now I go because the service is phenomenal. Today I went in for a quick cut and blow dry thanks to a friendly reminder from Jason! He texted me a simple offer of 10% just to return again and I jumped all over it. The front desk is manned at all times with courteous, professional, and hard working personnel.Some salons have what I would consider a stuffy demeanor. Not at Highlight Salon. Every patron is treated with respect and kindness. The stylists listen to what you are looking for and will follow through on your preferences and desires. Not to say that if the stylist feels that you are asking for something that he or she feels isn’t appropriate for your skin tone or shape of your face, they will make alternate suggestions which may be more appropriate for you. The entire staff while being professional also makes you feel at ease due to the relaxed environment and desire to please. In a nutshell , In my opinion anyone who becomes a client of Highlight Salon will not be disappointed. I can’t say enuf truly fabulous experiences I have had and believe you will too. The health as well as beauty of your hair is a top consideration. Makeup is also another factor which is customized for each individual.As I mentioned before, give them a try…. You won’t be disappointed!

Love this spot! Jason who handles the booking is flawless and the ultimate professional . The owners are always around and keeping the place running smooth. My personal favorite is Kelly ! She is an amazing stylist smart funny and know her business inside and out I never recommend things but I always send people to Kelly at Highlights salon. They never disappoint.

I went to this salon for the first time yesterday and was pleasantly surprised! I was in desperate need of a hair cut and blow dry, so I made an appointment for this salon which is conveniently located on Ponce de Leon. The first thing I noticed was the atmosphere; this salon is incredibly chic and modern, and it is super clean. I was greeted very warmly by everyone and the hair stylists worked hard to achieve the look I was going for. I will definitely be returning!!

Great salon in the Gables! No immediate appt needed as there are many stylists. All wonderful! Ive tried 3 of them already! Nice energy! They sell Kerastase products.. my new go to place! Love it!

A new amazing salon in the heart of Coral Gables. Just finished doing my Keratin hair treatment with Neurka. As usual a wonderful experience! Ihighly recommend this salon. Kaitlin aka @thebrowbabemiami is literally the queen of brows. For years my eyebrows and I have had a love hate relationship but ever since she started working her magic on them I have only been loving how they look!! She is literally amazing at her craft, I can’t even explain in words how talented she is at the artistry of doing eyebrows it blows my mind truly. She is so sweet and professional as well! I would recommend everyone do their brows with her asap!!! Will never do my brows anywhere else again only with Kaitlin!!

I just finished my appointment and couldn’t wait to express what a great experience I had at Highlight salon! Everyone was very professional and welcoming as soon as I walked through the door. I got blonde highlights and blow dry with Arleen. I wasn’t sure what shade of blonde to get and she knew exactly what would work for me. Very happy with how my hair turned out! Needless to say I’ll be back soon!

After living in Miami for 10 years, I have finally found a salon to stick with. I can offer no higher praise than calling it a triple threat- excellent nails, hair cut and color, and makeup- in a clean and inviting setting. I have been searching for an MUA who can correctly apply makeup for asian/monolid eyes- look no further than Arleen. Make sure to request her for makeup- especially if you have had trouble (like I have) finding someone who can work with asian skin tones and eyes! The last time I let someone touch my hair was in korea town in NYC, and now here at Highlight Salon. Thank you for offering an oasis of peace and relaxation in Miami.

This is the absolute best salon in Coral Gables.
