    Iā€™ve gotta say, growing up with really curly hair was not easy. Over the years itā€™s hard to adapt and find the things that work best to your individual curls, but the hardest thing about it is finding a stylist who can actually cut it CORRECTLY. Ive had this vision of how I wanted my hair to look for some years now and some will get it close but never right. Today though, my dream came true when Otto, a wonderful and sweet man, cut my hair. He did things today no other stylist has ever done. Even the girls there were so kind and helpful. I could honestly cry cause where was this man my whole life. He deserves the title of curly hair guru. THANK YOU OTTO! (First photos me going in, second photo is after I was blessed and reborn)

    Rachel was amazing! She was incredibly thorough, discussing what I was looking for, and explaining each step of the process and the purpose of the products she used. Both she, and the front desk gentleman were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Love my haircut! I booked my next appointment before leaving. Wonderful salon!

    Maggie was my hairstylist she was totally amazing. I was a walk-in and was greeted with a bunch of friendly faces. The price was reasonable for the service and I walked out loving my hair. Will definitely be coming back!

    I have been a guest of Michael Thomas Hair Dedign for almost twenty years. Denise and Micheal own the salon and there are two locations. I currently go to this location, though over the years, my children and I have frequented both. To say it is the best salon in Naples is an understatement. Today, I want to give huge accolades to Maggie. Over the course of this incredibly busy season, both of our work schedules very full, she always managed to find time to do my blowouts. Expertly! At work, I would always receive bountiful compliments! I canā€™t wait to go into work tomorrow with my newly brightened hair, Maggie! You did a stunning job. Foil upon foil, she brought back my shine after weeks of overdue color maintenance. And see matched the color PERFECTLY to my skin tone! I sell fashion online and have a GUCCI x Adidas photoshoot tonight for ShoppeGigi, my fashion business. I am so excited for it and feel a lot better now. Thank you Maggie!!

    Adrian gave me the best haircut Iā€™ve gottten in my whole life! All the staff were very friendly! I was very tired during my appointment and I hope I didnā€™t give off the impression that I was unhappy :( Letting go of my long hairā€¦ well I already got over it on the ride home. Will absolutely go again for my next cut :))

    My stylist got the flu and could not get to work. They called me early in the morning and offered me options. The same day with another stylist or the next day with my stylist.They worked with me and I was so happy with the customer experience!

    Victoria did an amazing job. I asked for just a trim and she kept all the length I wanted, added long layers and a face frame. I had a wedding later in the day so she curled my hair so it would look like I had a blowout all night. It actually until the next day! Thank you Victoria!!

I highly recommend it. Then when your hair grows out, you can try Something differentā€¦ Perhaps a beautiful burgundy to represent the Fall? Itā€™s a quick and easy beauty boost to brighten your day!

    It was my first time going to this salon and I had the absolute best experience! From the initial free consultation to the final product, Fredo was incredible about working with me to get my hair to look exactly how I wanted. He was patient and careful when coloring my hair and listened to me when I told him how I wanted it cut. I wanted to do something pretty new and drastic to my hair (a red balayage) and I was nervous, but Fredo made my hair look BETTER than the pictures I showed him AND took the best instagram photos to show how incredible my hair looked. I plan on coming back to Fredo for another big change to my hair because he did such and amazing job! Also, all the staff members are so nice and personable. They all made the time I had to spend there so fun. 12/10 recommend and would give 6 stars if I could!!

    Otto does it again! I come here once a year at this point to get my hair cut by this guy only and he does not disappoint. The whole team are beyond amazing!     So.... i tried to give myself bangs last night and it was a total failure!! This was not the first time I have attempted to do so. I was embarrassed to go to my hairdresser for the third time and he is in Miami šŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļø. What a pleasant surprise to find a salon with such talented, friendly, and beautiful young ladies. Melani and Aviana did a spectacular job correction my mess. I am very skeptical about who cuts my hair because I have thick coarse hair and not everyone knows how to cut it. Ive used Adrian for multiple treatments such as balayage and cuts and he also does a fantastic job. I really appreciate her diligence, knowledge of product, recommendations and the attention to detail that she takes with me! Iā€™ve always had the impression that when I am in the salon that there is a wonderful respect between the stylists and a willingness to assist each other. It is also clear to the customer ( if you are observing the activity throughout the salon ) that the talent level and quality of care by all the stylists is first rate.     I was referred to Adrian for my blunt cuts. I have type 1A hair and every flaw shows when styling. He is always so meticulous with his work and often times go back for additional trimmings just when I think weā€™re about done. Iā€™m quite inquisitive and will ask for the step by steps and his explanations have always been so thorough. Heā€™s an amazing stylist. Highly recommend!

    Avianna is my stylist. She is amazing! She always asks what I want but I am so confident in her skills I usually let her have full range of my cut.     Highly recommend Adrian! It took me awhile to find someone down in Naples, but happy to say I no longer have to fly north! He always does a great job and my cuts grow in great with little to no maintenance. I forget his assistants name, but sheā€™s super sweet and fun to see her coming into her own in the salon!

    I can honestly say this was the BEST hair salon experience I have ever had. Staff was absolutely amazing. They took their time to really talked to me and educate me on what should and should not be done with my hair. Instead of just saying yes and damaging my hair like prior hair salons I have been to.     Jason and I both got amazing haircuts from Gabe! He was able to get us in back to back today. He listens to your ideas, talks styling preferences, lifestyle etc before cutting and then you just watch the magic happen. Our haircuts compliment our features and we couldnā€™t be happier with the experience! He also teaches you as he goes, so you know how to recreate what he does in the chair.

    I have been a loyal customer of MTH Design in Naples, FL for about 3 years now since moving here from Miami. I struggled a lot at first to find a good salon. I have visited both locations and have had a terrific experience every time and with every one I have dealt with. Most recently, I have been going to Stephanie Brown since my other stylist moved away. Stephanie is an absolute professional. She listens to what I want and even though I donā€™t always know how to explain it, she understands and asks questions until it is clear and we are both in agreement. She always takes the time to explain everything to me and answer the million questions I ask with the kindest heart. She is not only a great stylist, but an awesome human and thatā€™s just as important. Everyone from Tiana at the front desk to the owner, is nice and very helpful. Appointments are well-kept and on-time, they always send you a reminder. If they donā€™t have something available, they reach out to the stylist and try to make some time for you.     Iā€™ve been going to this salon for four years and have been extremely happy. The salon is modern, upbeat and spotlessly clean, and the staff are warm and professional. Iā€™ve been especially impressed at the salonā€™s response to the CoVid-19 pandemic, as theyā€™ve taken every conceivable precaution to ensure the safety of their clients and staff, including locking the doors to prevent walk-ins and taking clientsā€™ temperatures and pulse ox readings upon arrival.Iā€™ve never received so many compliments on my hair since going to Michael Thomas. My stylist, Ryan, is absolutely fantastic; heā€™s very skilled at cuts and coloring, but he also possesses two attributes that IMO are critical for any stylist: (1) he listens and actually remembers what you like and donā€™t like and (2) he truly cares about making you look your very best (in other words, you never feel rushed or like ā€œjust another body in the chairā€).Sorry this is so lengthy, but I canā€™t recommend Michael Thomas or Ryan highly enough, and I guess it took a few words to convey exactly why šŸ™‚

    I made an appointment at Michael Thomas and lucked out completely with Stephanie. She is so talented and its blatantly obvious how much she enjoys her job. Stephanie gave me a great cut, and on my last return visit she did a knockout job on my full highlight.     Had a slight bump in the road setting up the appointment for my daughter but the owner actually called me and set up another appointment and was awesome. She was amazing! Ryan cut my daughters hair and he did such an awesome job!! She has a little self esteem problem and he made her feel beautiful. Another stylist came over and told her that her hair looked so cute.     I was so happy to discover Michael Thomas hair design, on airport pulling road, naples. They were very accommodating with my last minute appointment request. The person I corresponded with to ask questions and book the appt was kind and patient. The greeting I received upon entering the salon was warm & friendly. They offered coffee or cold drinks, and were prompt with getting my service going.My stylist was Fredo, and he took the time to understand my style and made sure we were on the same page. He carefully applied the hair color for my root touch up to ensure all grays were covered. He gave me a great haircut & blowdry. He did try to curl my hair but it did not come out that great because the curling iron was not good, no fault of Fredo. I would suggest the salon replace the hot curling iron with a better, more efficient one! All in all I was very happy with my service and impressed with Fredoā€™s skills. During this pandemic, they took every precaution, from taking my temperature outside the shop, making sure I had a mask, gloves, and freshly washed and dried hair (no blow drying during Covid-19!) - the expectations were set, the communication was excellent - and that was all BEFORE Otto performed magic on my hair. Especially challenging are dry cuts - but like the artist he is, he literally transformed my hair into a beautiful style. From every angle, he made sure the cut was perfect.     I always love getting my haircut at this salon. I like that they have different tiers of experience for their stylists, as I am pretty crazy about my hair. The more experience, the more the cut costs, so you can decide for yourself what is worth it or isnt. I cut/style my hair with Lisa who is awesome. She is a level 4, I believe. I also love that this salon opens at 7 a.m., so I can get my haircut before work and it really starts my day off right. Also, if your bangs are getting a little long in between cuts, they invite you to come back for free for a bang touch up prior to your next hair cut. I think its great all the way around, and love that they offer you a beverage while youre there. It adds that little touch that makes it feel like Im getting pampered.

    Gabe has been cutting my hair for over three years now. He does a fantastic job of styling my short hair so it looks great and is easy to manage. I donā€™t know how he does it, but he is the best stylist I have ever had. I make sure he cuts my hair right before I go north for the summer and make an appointment so he can do my hair as soon as I return in the fall. Iā€™ve been trying new stylists up north but have yet to find one as good as Gabe.

Very professional staff to answer phones and assist in making appointments, they have been so accomodating when I needed to change an appointment. Denise is extremely talented and always manages to give me exactly what I want even when I dont know what I want! She has a great eye for color and seems to know when I need to go a tad warmer, brighter, blonder, darker, etc. Her assistant Ty is great, and makes my time in the salon even more enjoyable.     I found Michael Thomas Hair Design after searching Google for hair salons in Naples. I live closer to Marco Island and wanted to go somewhere different. Upon reading the ratings, reviews, and taking advantage of their first time customer coupon I went in for an appointment. The location was a little tricky to find and I had to call for help but I am beyond happy that I found this gem! The place is very clean, comforting, and new. The staff are very polite, caring, and professional. I use to have Morgan do my hair and now I have Jennifer (who is amazing!), but I trust anyone from the salon to take care of my long hair. Before leaving they always make sure I am 100% happy with my hair and they take care of anything that I might not like. I am always offered a complementary beverage upon arrival as well. The prices are affordable for individuals who are on a budget like me AND the service is beyond what I pay. I have never been so happy with how my hair looks until I found this place!! I use to work within a spa and understand customer service and I love how they treat their clients. I will never go anywhere else now and do not mind taking the long drive for excellent service. I am very pleased to have found them on Google and had to share my excitement for others to check them out at well.

    Had a wonderful experience and LOVED the balayage Ryan did on my hair. It was a 5 hour process and ended up doing an amazing job. The atmosphere is very nice and love the staff as well. I would 10/10 recommend going to this salon and especially with Ryan!

    Iā€™m not even waiting to get home to write this because I canā€™t stress enough how much better I feel about my hair. I brought Amanda the haircut of nightmares. I mean, awful. Two days ago I had the worst experience AND worst haircut of my life at a different salon and Amanda was stuck with the mess. Itā€™s not perfect because perfect would have been impossible with what she had to work with. But together we salvaged a really good base for what Iā€™m sure will be an awesome follow up appointment. She really knew what she was doing and kept communicating with me throughout the attempt to fix the mop on my head and I couldnā€™t be happier with the outcome. I canā€™t wait to come back with a clean slate for her to style, where I should have come in the first place!

    Ive been with the same salon for years and was nervous about finding a salon here. I booked with Michael Thomas as they use Redken hair color which is the best. Sandy colored, cut and styled my hair. Wow, I loved the way she listened and yet suggested new things. I couldnt be happier!! She was so nice and made me feel so comfortable. I would highly recommend this salon and Sandy!

    I got Skylar and he was super nice. Everyone there is too! My hair cut and hair coloring was chef kiss. Very nice place and very clean too. Thereā€™s a very nice and open atmosphere too. They also check for temperate and everyone needs to have a mask while in! Very cool.

    I recently had my hair done by Otto. He was amazing. I went in not expecting much, but he took the time to find out what I was looking for and he explained everything in great detail.     I went to the Crossroads Vineyard location because nobody could cut my hair right. I saw Gabe, and I left with the best cut Ive EVER had! I have thick hair and its hard to get the layers just right so it stays out of my eyes without the proper layering and texturizing. HE NAILED BOTH! Gabe, you are my forever stylist.     I go to the Vineyard location on Pine Ridge Road. I absolutely love the Owners and staff! Everyone is thoughtful, efficient and talented! They have a Blow dry Club which is a great deal. Your hair will look great every week (even with the humidity of Florida).

He was patient and listened to all that I was expecting from a color and cut. he didnt go crazy trying to push new haircut ideas or doing what HE wanted to do; but instead was careful to craft a haircut that exceeded my expectations. He matched my color perfectly & I even left with a new off the shelf Redken hair product that I continue to use since I got back to NJ.     They take their time getting the hair style you want by browsing pictures so you can choose the look you want. I didnt feel rushed to find the right look for me. The hair cut was perfect for me and my life style. I will be going back for my next cut here and recommend them to anyone needing a hair cut. The cost was reasonable better than going to a discounted salon and getting a mediocre cut.

    I stopped here out of impulse...I have tried many different hair dresses in the last few years hoping to be loyal to just one of them and have this person take good care of my hair. To me , it is not just about the look of my hair but the health it as well. I have been loosing my hair by chunks for the last year...from a full mane of thick hair, to sad looking strands. My hair is on the recovery stage, using the products recommended and I am happy to say all the advice and care I got has me on the right direction....my hair is looking and feeling healthier and not falling as much as it did before. Highlights are done with the best products and their care program has worked for me hence no more broken hair at the roots! thank you guys!
