After traveling to Orlando for the last four years and spending literally thousands of dollars for cuts and colors during that time I was so excited to find Judy’s in New Smyrna Beach and especially thrilled to book with Hilary! I had grown my hair out from a pixie over the past year and wanted a new cut and shape and Hilary gave me one of the best cuts I’ve ever had and I can’t even count the compliments I’ve gotten since. I have found my stylist right here at home and will not be going anywhere else! Book with Hilary like now!

Got a highlight with Tatiana…. She is just AMAZING!!!! We tried something a little different this time, we went for a little bit darker roots to give the highlights a little definition. I absolutely looooooove the way it turned out!!!!

I’ve been going to this salon for over 15 years. Always had Judy cut my hair! She was great!! Then Judy retired and I was hesitant to go back because I didn’t know any of the other stylists. But I decided I had to go because my hair was out of control so I called Judy’s and they got me in the same day and assigned Hilary to cut my hair! I was a little apprehensive because I didn’t know anything about Hilary which I would think is normal in a situation like this. Needless to say Hilary was fantastic! She took charge and asked me some questions and then made a few suggestions which I agreed to and off she went! I was very pleased with the result and now Hilary has another loyal customer and I don’t have to go looking for a new stylist in NSB!

Before walking into Judy’s Hair Design, I stopped by a chain store. My usual go to... stood at the desk with barely an acknowledgement and was told it would be a forty-five or more minute wait since I didnt make an appointment... what?!?! I wrote it off as a loss and planned to just get my hair done after the holiday. HOWEVER, I was leaving my future place of employment and saw a pretty blue sign that said walk-ins welcome. Stepping inside I was I was out of my element. Id never been in a salon that wasnt sterile white walls, uniforms, and cookie cutter stations. Julia was welcoming and kind. Once I was in the chair Im not gonna lie I almost bailed. Im really glad I stayed though. Not only did Julia guide me with questions about my hair and what I might like. She gave me some great tips on how to keep it vibrant. There was no pushy sales edge to our conversation and it made me feel like I was talking to a friend Id known for years and not minutes. The layers came out beautiful and my hair was so soft and shiney! I was terrified of what my bill would look like. Id heard for years that private salons were outrageously overpriced. However, it was AFFORDABLE! Like what?!?! Im abundantly happy with how my hair turned out. Thank you so much for listening to me and making me feel like family even though it was my first time in. It DEFINITELY wont be my last.

Stylists here are so amazingly kind and incredible at their job! Tanya is my stylist and she always knows exactly how to execute exactly what I want. The shop is also clean and comfortable with free drinks and coffee :)

She is just the best , in addition to a very easy going and pleasant personality she a super professional and skilled . She would carefully and attentively listen to what you want and even if you not sure ..she would help and guide you to deliver and achieve the best results specially for you . I was so scared and worried when I just arrived due to bad experience with hair salons in the past ..but Tatiana is just miracle that I needed and time flew so fast with her I ended up enjoying the whole experience and most important I love my hair and the way I look again !! I have been going to Judy’s for about 2 years now and I won’t go anywhere else because when you find someone that can do your hair like you like it, you stick with it! Michelle is amazing with my hair. However, there is a new service that they now offer! EYELASH EXTENSIONS! Julia was AMAZING! This girl knows exactly what she’s doing, she is very gentle. The atmosphere is so calm I almost fell asleep, and when I stepped out of there, WOW! I look like a whole new woman. My lash extensions made my eyes come alive, and I love not having to wear mascara! I highly recommend you try them out especially for the holidays.

I finally found the best salon in Volusia county!This salon has the most amazing group of ladies that even come together and help each other.You dont see that anywhere.Its a beautiful salon with positive energy where the stylists are happy to be there.The owner really wants every client to leave happy too, and I certainly did!Julia is super sweet & cares about your hair like the other professionals there as well. It was first time at the salon and got a men’s cut from Julia. I was very impressed with the customer service and attention to details that I wanted for my cut. My hair cut was one of the best I have had in Florida! Will be back every few weeks for a cut!! Also met the owner and she was very nice and a pleasure to talk to!!

Tatianna gave me the best haircut I have ever had yesterday. She not only listened to what I wanted - she delivered it exactly and more. Having waist length hair, I am VERY nervous about letting anyone near me with scissors but Tatianna worked her magic and I kept almost all my length minus pesky split ends. 10/10 will definitely be coming back!

Such a welcoming salon, very clean and such friendly staff. LOVE the hair washing station chairs and head rest. Stylist, Toni did a great job with my color and she did a Brazilian Blow out a couple of weeks ago. My hair feels like silk! Love it. I highly recommend

What a pleasant find. Having just moved south, I was desperate for a hair cut and styling whilst living in 365 days of summer. Rang for an appointment and got one 2 hours after I rang.Shop was SPOTLESS, stylist a joy to chat with as she did my hair. I came home very happy with my new do. Even the partner, still living up north, liked it; when we video chatted, said it made me look younger!! Winner, winner chicken dinner when he tells you that, viewing on his phone whilst working extra hours as a critical care specialist in an urban medical center up north.I will be going to Judys for a long time to come, you should too!!

Absolutely LOVE the way Sandy cut my hair! I have long, thin straight hair and finally a hair stylist cut it the way I’ve been envisioning it for years! I still have the nice long length without layers, Sandy was able to beautifully face frame and shape the long strands in the back perfectly! Thank you, Sandy! I will be back!

I was very hesitant about getting my haircut. I always had long hair but it is just so dried out and dead that I decided to go for it. I was looking for somebody to cut layers because every time I have my haircut I asked for layers and all they do is cut it straight across. So I decided to take a chance on Judy’s and boy I’m glad I did. Michelle knew exactly what To do and I can’t tell you how many compliments I have on my hair. It’s uncomfortably short for me but it’s exactly what I wanted and now my hair is bouncy and curly and wonderfully healthy. Who knows I might just keep it this way. But I vow to let only Judy’s take care of my hair from now on.
