    On the pricey side, but excellent excellent service! A very professional salon from the the moment you walk a warm greeting, toa free alcoholic or nonalcoholic beverage. No appointment made and was taken immediately. I showed the young nail technician a photo of a my nail inspiration & got exactly what I wanted. Will be coming back :)

    Kathy has done my nails for past two years. She does excellent work, nails last at least 3 weeks,, and she is so pleasant. My husband uses Helen for his Pedicure (Relax & Rewind) and she does an amazing job to relax his size 14 feet working in construction boots everyday of the week. The facility is beautiful and staff are friendly.

    Came in after seeing all the reviews and pictures, and the experience was entirely worth it! Jennie Lee did the most beautiful wedding day nail set, and Chelsea provided a fantastic pedicure. Everyone was so friendly and I love how my nails came out, I would definitely recommend them for nails in the area!

    I loved the result. The nail tech’s job was amazing, he had great attention to detail, and made sure I liked the shape and color! He was not very friendly but very professional and experienced. I’ll be back!

    Omg such a nice staff and atmosphere here. I get scared trying new places because of past experiences but Maya the nail tech there was super sweet and made me feel comfortable enough to trust her. She made sure she met my expectations and she did. Nice to sit back worry free and enjoy a glass of wine 🍷

    I was today years old when I got my first manicure and pedicure! I dont have anything to compare this experience to, but it was a great first experience! The atmosphere was relaxing, the service was wonderful, and I had fun with my Techs!

    THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!They are new to Lake Nona and I’ve tried every nail salon here. No one beats Velvet. They are accommodating, skilled, and extremely clean. Management knows what they are doing! I finally have a nail home. Thank you guys.Sincerely,A very happy customer. ♥️

    It’s so hard for me to find someone that does a great job on my nails (by my definition, of course). My usual nail tech is Crystal but she is currently on maternity leave. I went with Jennifer today and she did a great job on my pedicure and nails! So now I have backups. 🙃

    The ambiance is very inviting. Very nice size salon with an actual bar. We had a group, and I only wanted a massage, which was on the menu. Disappointingly, they didnt have anyone licensed to give a massage 🤔 so remove it from the menu. Also, I knew better than to sip from a glass directly. Very soon, afterward, my throat started hurting. I watched how the glasses were cleaned, and lets just say the sponge needed replacing even then 🤦🏾‍♀️. The pedicures and manicures looked good for the rest. Two of the guys, for their first time getting a pedicure and manicure, they liked it. The staff is friendly.

    Nice new place. The salon is beautiful, very clean and spacious. My pedicure was great. Coffee was very good. The wine bar area gives it an extra lux feel. I hope it stays this nice over time. Highly recommend

    My go to nail salon in the area. Everyone I’ve gone to is very thorough and does an excellent job. There’s lots of tables and pedicure chairs so you never have to wait long. The salon itself is very clean and tidy. I always feel pampered and relaxed when I leave.

    Edit: they did reach out and tried to make it better and undo their wrongs. It was on me that I didn’t speak up when I was unhappy with the change of technician and manicure. Now that I understand the situation that the nail bar faced it wasn’t their fault with the change of technician. Overall with the personal and professional customer service I would say I’m happy with this nail bar.Overall it was alright. I would probably not go againPros: pretty nail bar, nice service with beverage, pedicure had scrubs that I likedCons: I was sat thirty minutes after my appointment time, I was seated by a man and not a woman which I requested and booked with, during my pedicure my toes bled and hurt I understand a little pain because I have ingrown but it was honestly too much and one of my toes still hurts, ATTENTION TO DETAIL WAS NOT THERE in my hand acrylics for example: my pinky finger had a significant size difference in width. For luxury prices I would expect better.

    Velvet Nail Bar is superior to the other nail salons in Lake Nona. I only get pedicures, but the other places always rush through them and it’s just not relaxing at all. Kevin did a really good job, was friendly, and did not rush through anything. The massage part was great and I fell asleep! The girl at the front desk is also very friendly and brought a drink menu over, which was also complimentary. This was the best pedicure I’ve had in a long time. Very relaxing experience and also very clean!

    I love this new nail salon in Lake Nona it’s clean, luxurious and the staff is very attentive. The space is beautiful and they have complimentary drinks and snacks. I got the Relax and Un-Wine and it was worth every second! The massage, hot stones, warm towels and paraffin made my feet feel so soft. They used lavender soap and lotions and added orange slices to the bath which was a nice touch. My nails look great I can’t wait to return.

    I am very satisfied with the service at this place, very friendly and polite staff. You can enjoy the pedicure and manicure without any noise that disturbs you.     My first time coming here Velvet Nail Bar III and I was very impressed. The cleanliness, the set up, many techs as well as complementary drink from the bar. They ask that you make an appointment, so there is no waiting. Music is very nice and calming as your tech works on your hands, feet , waxing. My pedicure tech Tiffany was amazing, she was kind and gentle. She has such a beautiful personality. She is a great asset to Velvet Nail Bar III. My next visit to Florida I would definitely be back to Velvet Nail Bar III.I’m glad my daughter Tasha brought me here.

    I went to get my nails done during the soft open and let me state finally a great nail bar in lake Nona!! Scheduled an appointment online all the services they provide are detailed out on their website which I love! The moment I walked in the service was well provided. I had an acrylic fill with Fabi, I requested what I wanted and she delivered highly recommended her! Then I did the unwine pedicure with Tiffany and she was so friendly and went above and beyond with the service and then she would explain what she was doing next so you would know and always made sure I was comfortable during my pedicure. All around great salon and so vibrant! Love love the vibes!

    I am visiting my sister in law for the weekend and I live in NY. I wanted a pedi and she recommended I come to Velvet Nail Bar III. As my first time here it was the best experience I have ever had at a nail salon. The salon was the most beautiful establishment I’ve ever ever been to. Thai took care of me and she was kind, friendly and professional. I got the Mojito pedi and it was excellent. Panda came over and asked if I wanted a drink so I got a Mimosa. She was also working the front desk and was so sweet and professional. Overall this was the best time I’ve ever had while getting my nails done.

    My friend and I got two Long Island green tea pedicures. They were amazing! Our nails techs were Andy and Tina. They both did an amazing job. Very thorough and precise.     The salon is spotless, and all the staff is friendly. I have seen Tony twice; he listens to what I want to do before he starts doing my nails. I love that. He has left my nails as I have requested because of this. He also doesn’t get upset if I suggest additional things or if I change my mind while he’s working on my nails. The best part is that he communicates with me, which is very important.

    First time trying this place. Although the price is a little higher compared to the salon down the street that we usually go to, the service was great. They had a receptionist to point you where to go and offer a drink menu. Looking at the bar, I saw lemonade, bud light, wine, water, etc. There was no rush to pick colors and the techs took their time as well (we did pedicures). Would be a nice place to make a girls day out.

    My boyfriend and I got pedicures here today and Tiffany & Fabi were absolutely lovely and wonderful! This is the best experience I’ve ever had at a nail salon and we will definitely be coming back here next time we are in the area.     Me and my husband came here 2x end of March and yesterday. We both got pedicures both times, surprisingly my gel lasted a while which was a plus! I’m in nursing school so I rarely have time but yesterday was so relaxing with our pedicures down to the massages after we were just saying we both had sore feet and legs from walking all weekend. They did amazing! Love the complimentary drinks that was offered I got the OJ mimosa it was so good! Recommend 10/10

    Really glad I found this place it’s our new go-to spot. Service was A1 and color selection was great too! I’m always hesitant to receive a pedicure from male workers because they are generally rough handed BUT both males my daughter and I had were great and thorough! Literally no complaintsThey were super busy but they still seated right away and put a complimentary drink in our hand. Both technicians were attentive and I love the way the nails turned out.     I had a great experience today. The place is very clean and the decor is great. Great trying somewhere new and they have the 25% off this month so that makes it even better. The lady that did my pedi&mani was wonderful. She was friendly and nice. She did a great job on my nails too. I will ask for her again when I call. The drink options are great, better than others I have been too. It’s not box wine.

    The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Kim did my pedicure and it was amazing,I highly recommend her! Ben did my full set and they turned out beautiful! I highly recommend him as well!     This place has great relaxing atmosphere with amazing staff who were all kind and informative on any questions I had to ask. Panda their receptionist was very helpful and super sweet, I was having a hard time picking a color and she came over and recommended some options based off what I told her i was looking for. I just came in for a gel manicure and was just thinking of maybe doing color but I ended up just doing clear but I so appreciated her help. I will definitely be back again :)

    I went in on Sunday morning to get in on the last day for there grand opening special they were running and even though it was very busy everyone was still nice and very through while explaining everything I said needed to get done. I especially loved Panda, one of the front staff members was she very polite and answered any questions i had. I got a acrylic fill done by Andy he was also super polite and answered any questions and thoroughly explained it to me so I understood exactly what he was doing. Overall I would totally recommend the staff are very welcoming and have created a lovely atmosphere to come relax in.

    I visited the salon today with my daughter for the first time. Let me say it will not be the last. This is by far the nicest, cleanest, most professional nail salon in Orlando! So happy we have them in Lake Nona. We had pedicures ( the relax and unwind) I also did a fill and gel polish. Impecable work and I am extremely picky with my nails.I travel extensively both for work and pleasure and this has got to be a top place in my experience.The attention to detail, selection of polish colors, beverages, all amazing. In addition the people are super nice, warm and welcoming. We came in a bit later in the day and were the last ones to leave. They never rushed us or cut the services short.I hope they keep this going, if so they will have devoted customers for life! My tech was Jennifer and my daughter’s was Tiffany.

    Made an appointment for Hubby to get a mani/pedi and a pedi for myself. It was his early birthday gift and we were taken care of by Tiffany and Kevin. They were great, shared a few sarcastic humorous moments with them and even enjoyed a complimentary glass of wine.     If youre looking for a new salon I totally recommend this place. Even though they have just opened, The atmosphere they have created is very relaxing and has a very luxurious feel the minute you walk through the door. I love the interior and the fact that they serve complimentary drinks as well with all their service just adds to the luxury feel. The staff was the cherry on top, excellent customer service everyone was very friendly and helpful. Even though their prices are a little high I do feel that their prices are justified for all that they include within your service. This is just what Lake Nona needed, I cannot wait to see what the future holds for you guys and I will definitely be back.

    I was excited to try this new salon in the area but unfortunately didn’t have the best first experience. I made an appt for 1:15 for a gel polishes change and arrived at 1:04 but a nail tech did not see me until 1:40ish. I was sat down closer to 1:20 and my toes were wrapped and was told to wait 5 min and after almost 20 minutes passed I had to remove the foil myself and ask the front desk attendant if someone would be seeing me soon since it was already 20 min past my appt time. All she said was “ok” instead of apologizing for the delay. A few minutes later a tech came and offered me a menu to pick a pedicure but I explained the appt was just for a gel polish change and she insisted I look through the pedicures but I had to explain again I had no time and needed to leave. She then worked very quickly and did my nails. They look fine but the process overall was rushed. I completely understand salons are busier on the weekends which is why I booked an appt. It’s simply not fair to promise a customer a time and then have them wait 30+ minutes and have techs feel rushed and overwhelmed.UPDATE: I went back to the salon today to do a gel manicure and Tiffany did a great job! She was super friendly and they took me right at my appt time. The owner also made the issue above right with a 15% discount. I really appreciated that and will be returning!
