I am so thankful I came on a whim to have my full body scan this past december. Meeting my deductible I said let me go ahead and have this done. Needless to say I had a few spots to look at but one of them the doctor was pretty sure it was basal cell carcinoma. She did the biopsy on the spot and sent it out. I am scheduled for the removal of the spot within a few weeks, and am so thankful they were so quick to work me in and help me.

Advanced Dermatology in Oviedo has been there for me! I currently take SKyrizi for my psoriasis and they have helped me maintain my medication, as well as, stay on track with my injection schedule. We have went through so much adversity together including coverage authorization, pharmacy issues, and insurance stipulations.They have been so courteous and helpful with samples of medication, as well as, copay transactions. Had an appointment yesterday day with PA Christopher Ney for my 12 year old son. There was 0 wait time. Reception was friendly and inviting. The medical assistant was quick and efficient. Chris was AWESOME with my son. Gave us options for our concern and guided us in the best treatment. Even better he did it same day right then. No wait time at all. We were in and out of the office in 32 minutes. Highly recommended.

Dr. Nathoo is amazing! He listens to your concerns, discusses all options thoroughly, and is super knowledgeable and answers all your questions. I have a lot of anxiety around skin issues, and hes been very patient and kind.Depending on the day you come it can be a bit busy, so be prepared to wait outside if the waiting room is too crowded. Theyve done a great job during the pandemic with keeping everyone safe.

The doctor toke his time to actually explain to us what was going on with our son, he was very knowledgeable and practical about the physical challenge that our son is going through. In this days is hard to find Doctors that actually care about their patients, but that was not the case at Advance Dermatologist. We recommend it 100% very clean and the staff is amazing too.

This was my 1st time there; its a little far from my house, but this location was recommended by a friend. I was seeing Dr. Ney. I gave 4 stars because other than the 3 min sign in process which was me writing my name down to check in and them taking a pic of my license, there was no interaction, but they were friendly during that whole 3 minutes. Dr. Ney was great, the appt was maybe 15-20 min long, which includes the nurse taking my basic vitals and asking me abt my skin concerns. He came in, examined/chatted with me, 15 min later I was on my way home. I go back in Jan for a follow-up. If I see improvement, it was worth it and Id stick w/him.

The staff was extremely nice and efficient. Last year I came in for a routine checkup and the nurse practitioner found a basil cell on which I was able to quickly have a Mohs procedure. The plastic surgeon was incredible and I have a tiny (self requested lightning bolt Harry Potter) scar on my forehead. This year I saw a new doctor who was extremely thorough, listened to me, was humorous and very professional. This is only my second visit to this practice and I feel fortunate to have found a place to call my Dermatology home. I moved here a few years ago and finding doctors one feels comfortable with can be tough task. I really like this place!

My Wife is a Nurse of 36 years and works in Dermatoligy in the VA hospital in Lake Nona. She has seen it all. The Great News is: The operation was successful and all of the Cancer was removed with the first incision and in a few days. I removed the bandages. The stitches were the type that doesnt require removal and are healing very well. I am very satisfied with the outcome and know that it could have been much worse. I have seen the results of others that ignore skin cancer until its too late. Thank you for your Professionalism.

I called and asked for appointment as soon as possible, I got a appointment for the next day. They got me back BEFORE I finished the “new patient paperwork.” The doctor came in within 5 minutes of me being in the room, listened and then was honest and didn’t try to sell me anything or do anything I didn’t need. I went in for a small mole looking thing that my GP said I should have looked at. The doctor said “it’s completely normal, no need for a biopsy or to remove it unless I wanted to.” I decided I was the and to have it taken off. The nurse was great nearly didn’t feel the numbing shot (on my face) and within a minute it was done, a band-aide and “come back and see us if you have any other dermatology issues! No, come back in two weeks to see if it healed, (it was tiny) no maybe you should buy this to wash your face. It was fast, easy and I was in and out as a new patient in less than a hour. I would say it’s a great office.

Julia Storti gave personal attention to a fingernail that was accidentally damaged during a heart surgery. She was very empathetic to the problem and suggested a med that would assist in it growing back stronger.I had several skin problems and was delightfully surprised at how caring and gentle they were with the removal of a skin cancer. It was a clean cut the first time, even though it had to have the biopsy and MOS procedure was so pain free. I was really impressed with the professionalism and concerned care that they gave to me.

They deserve many more stars if you ask me.. a dermatology practice like this is pretty rare in the medical field today, so I’m grateful I found a gem like this one.I had an 11:15 A.M. appointment, and I was pleased when I was called in by the nurse around 11:16 A.M.-11:17 A.M. The doctor was also readily available and there was not a long wait to see Dr. Nathoo at all!Dr. Nathoo was a very polite and professional M.D., and I’m glad I have found him because he is an absolute expert in his field! Doctors like Dr. Nathoo are also pretty rare in the medical field today, so I really am thankful I found such a phenomenal Doctor like him.I will definitely be coming back to this role model of a dermatology practice in the future for anything else I may need!

Dr. Yungmann was particularly helpful in evaluating the moisturizing lotions that I use and giving me instructions on the correct way to apply apply the medicated topical cream that I use. I also learned how to tell when the medication could effectively be discontinued

The staff, nurses and physician were most concerned about my condition as it has been improperly diagnosed since June of 2019.Dr. Nathoo examined me extensively and explained his diagnosis with great care. My medication was immediately dispatched to the pharmacy and I started my treatment that very day. I am already responding to the treatment DrNathoo recommended as other treatments from other physicians were to no avail.I am grateful for Dr.Kirti Kalidas recommending me to see this dermatologist for a second opinion.I was seen immediately after contacting the office and was not delayed by waiting for weeks to see this specialist as I have had experienced elsewhere before.I would highly recommend Dr. Nathoo for dermatology concerns .

I have been going to Advanced Dermatology Oviedo office for over 15 years (every 4 or 6 months) and they do a great job keeping me healthy. I have very fair skin and got way too much sun and too many sunburns as a kid, teen, and 20 something. I have had many skin cancers and pre-cancerous lesions removed by the doctors, nurses, and assistants. I have seen a variety of physicians and physician assistants (Mamino, Nathoo, Moorhead-Dovre, Sexton, Storti) and nurses over the years and they have all been excellent. A few years ago they saved my life by finding a potentially deadly melanoma early enough so that it had not yet spread to other parts of my body (it involved a surgeon at the hospital and sentinel lymph node biopsy to be sure). I strongly recommend Advanced Dermatology and urge you to go at least once a year for a check up if you have average risk for skin cancer and at least twice a year if you are at high risk.
