I’ve had a wonderful experience at this clinic. From the moment you walk in, the staff makes you feel welcomed and comfortable. They are always friendly, attentive, and ready to assist in any way. Dr. Rubina Azam is exceptional, taking the time to really listen to your concerns and thoroughly addressing all your needs. The attention to detail and personal care is something I truly appreciate, and I always feel confident in the treatment I receive. Highly recommend this clinic for anyone looking for professional and compassionate care!

Dr. Azam has been seeing my daughter since she was born in 2009. We were in on the 24th for my daughters 8 year check up. She was so excited to see Dr. Azam. As always, everything was great and she sat and listened to my concerns about a few things. Dr. Azam is amazing and the fact that she remembers my daughter 8 years later says a great deal about her and what kind of doctor she is. I highly recommend her to any of my friends who are expecting because I believe she is the best.

Dr. Azam and her staff are very willing to take the time with my children and myself as the mom. I appreciate their holistic approach to medicine as I typically like to seek preventative or natural treatments for our health needs. Dr. Azam is great at explaining natural alternatives including diet and nutritional supplements, and not just jumping right to writing a prescription for a drug. My kids are also very comfortable with her and the staff.

My daughter had her first appointment via video conference because of Covid, and we eager to finally meet in person at the follow up. Dr. Azam took the time to really figure out what was going on with my daughter, as opposed to saying she needed to see a psychiatrist, like her pediatrician had said. Come to find out, after some tests, that there was something actually going on with her, that a psych would have never been able to treat her for.

Update**I have updated to 5 stars for their prompt follow up and willingness to make things right. It speaks volumes of companys willing to do that and who actually follow up.We recently moved to florida and I wanted to get established with a pediatrician for my 14th month old son. Dr. Azam came highly recommended so I called and made an appointment. Figured I would do the 15 month well baby visit while I was there. Got there today and the front desk staff was great. I didnt wait very long at all. Got taken back and put in a room and the doctor came in. (Whoever is there full time- NOT Dr. Azam). Needless to say I wasnt impressed. He gave me very outdated information and was done between 5 and 10 min. I guess I didnt realize I had to specifically ask for Dr. Azam when I called. So I called back and spoke with the front desk about not being very happy with the service I recieved today from the doctor and asked for a visit with Dr Azam specifically. Shes out of town. No big deal. Was able to get an appointment with her but at another charge of $150 (selfpay rate). I just cant afford $300 to get established with someone and would have thought they would comp that visit since I was unable to see who I expected to see today. Very disappointed I wasted $150 today.

I am writing an update to my previous post. I was contacted by Dr. Azam via email and was able to schedule an appointment with her. I am doing some pretty expensive testing not covered by insurance, but I was aware that the tests might not be covered. I have a follow up appointment next month to discuss the results the tests and a potential treatment plan.Previous post:Two times I have tried to book an appointment to meet with Dr. Azam. I called two times to follow up with her office because I never received a phone call from them regarding my upcoming appointment, and was told they had no record of my appointment. Both appointments were made online via her functional medicine website, and I received confirmation emails.Last week I was told that Dr. Azam would be made aware of this issue and would get back with me. What a joke.What’s happening here is an incompetent staff; specifically the office manager.

I love, love, love Dr Mercado. They always push for an immediate solution and my baby loves their patient manner. I chose a delayed vaccination schedule for my son and theyve definitely worked with me to honor that, I love them! Their only drawback is that their on-call after hours nurse doesnt always get back in touch.

I have to agree with the post ahead, I have been to several other doctors and found her to be the best in town.
