I have nothing against this salon therefore I’m giving this review 5 stars, nice salon overall good environment. HOWEVER *If I could direct this review to a specific stylist it would be 3/5 and that’s me being nice and I’ll leave the stylists name out.*To say the least this was one of the worst experiences I have ever had getting my hair done with braids. If I had know prior to booking the appointment that $50 off meant 50% less effort I would have went somewhere else. Apparently, when you get a discount it means she chooses the size, and length. Usually I get my braids at a certain length down my back, the stylist however disagreed and said that for $100 “this is the length, and size you’re going to get”, at first I had a problem with this but then I agreed with her and thought “at least it’ll be quality work when it’s all said and done even if it’s not a length and size that I’m used to.” The back of the braids I was perfectly fine with (length matched size matched etc.)...however the front is where I had a serious problem with. The front was much more shorter in comparison to the back - even the dead could see this, however when I explained to her “the front is shorter than the back” she said “no it’s not it’s just because it’s from the top of your head down that’s why it looks like that” “I don’t know how you expect me to do a certain length with only 7 packs of braids.” She also went onto say that since she’s “a licensed cosmetologist she knows better and knows what she’s doing.” What a joke - I should have gotten out of the chair and left. I made it very clear that I had a problem with this and she continuously gave me the cold shoulder and disregarded my suggestions. It was six braids in the front that she had to fix, ONLY 6 and I would have felt fully satisfied with her work. Only because I’m a principled person she got paid, if this was someone else I would have given her half the money since she wants to do half arse work. I would only recommend her only if you’re willing to allow your suggestions to be ignored, pay the full price with no discount so you’ll get 100% effort, and you’re willing to deal with her disgusting attitude since you’d rather listen to music in your headphones then talk to her.

I love the salon and the atmosphere in there is great. Everyone works together as a team. Great location and multicultural salon.
