    Van did a skilful job creating highlights for me today. She is clearly a most accomplished hair stylist who is passionate about her profession. Her technique with the foils resulted in natural blended highlights that will not look like they are growing out over time. Van really is an asset to this salon.One comment Id like to address, is that the sign on the building is not obvious (does it need another coat of paint?), and if there is a Fantastic Sams name on the mall sign, it must be tiny as I looked but while driving I was unable to see it.

    Amy was amazing! I took both my daughters to have their hair highlighted for the first time and she took great care of them! She was very informative, showed them hair color samples and was able to get them the look they were going for. She also took time to educate them on how to care and protect their hair. Overall, we have been back twice now and will continue to return to see her.

    Carla did an amazing job on my daughter’s hair. Her first visit to a Salon for hair color and lowlights. They were patient and helpful to give her what she was looking for. My daughter was beyond happy with the results!

    Amy works miracles! My hair was fried and damaged beyond belief by a so called “color professional” I was recommended and I was getting to the point of chopping it all of when on a whim I booked an appointment. Amy brainstormed with the other stylists and was able to salvage my gross green and off yellow mess and gave me a gorgeous purple color.I am forever grateful and will continue to see her from now on for my hair needs. I cannot recommend her and her team enough!!

    Karla and Nicole are Amazing. Nicole cut mine and my daughter’s hair the weekend before school started and a week later Karla did our color. I got a full head of highlights and my daughter just a little peek-a-boo pop of color. The staff is so friendly and Karla does the BEST color. Make sure if you call you tell them Karla with a K. You will not be disappointed

    Sonal is one of the best hair stylist out there. I came in with my hair being dry and and left out with my hair being silky smooth and beautiful curled. I trusted her on putting highlights in my hair and she didnt disappoint, I get so many comments from people about my hair and Ill always recommend sonal to them. She knows what she is doing when it comes to hair and shes a joy to talk to!

    I took my brother here to get a perm for the first time and Angelica did AMAZING! She joked and talked with him the whole time, she made sure she knew exactly what he wanted and she executed the hairstyle PERFECTLY. 10/10.. I would recommend her to do a perm for anyone looking to go.

    I had Prena for a haircut and blonde highlights. She did a great job! I usually wouldnt have someone do my hair without research or reading the reviews, but I was assigned somebody else who had to evacuate due to the hurricane when I arrived. I was very happy with the final results. Great cut and perfect blonde for me which isnt always the case. Ive paid much more for results I didnt like or grew out in a week or two. Very sweet woman.     Carla was amazing ! I came in was EXTREME CURLY HAIR and she was able to give me AMAZING highlights !!! She was also able to straighten my hair pin point. Bottom line is that I looked AMAZING for my graduation and was still pin straight days after 👩‍🎓 Thank you Carla ! I will definitely be back. …. I will also like to say everyone else in that office is so KIND and they have team work abilities. One person came in and brought the whole team lunch and I thought that was so cute. They have a very much family vibe which is a plus. They basically treated their customers the same.     Excellent stylist. She was patient and enjoyable to deal with. There was plenty of parking & easy to find. The store was very clean. The only thing I did not like was their way to tip. They use an app called Tipsy and they add a charge on to the tip. This is totally ridiculous. Luckily I had cash for the tip. The hair cut & style was 5 star and the payment process was ridiculous.

    Ashley D. colored my hair today and it turned out AMAZING!!! i showed her a reference photo and it turned out exactly how i wanted it to! im so happy with the results and she is such an amazing hair stylist, she has such an amazing personality and made the entire process comfortable and always explained which products she would put in my hair and what they will do. she recommended products to help keep the color vibrant and last longer. thank you so much Ashley for unlocking a new level of confidence in my life!

    Very friendly & fun staff with amazing teamwork. Alfred did an amazing job with my hair and did exactly what I asked him to do & wasnt afraid to tell me what he felt looked best. I told him I wanted to do a peek-a-boo purple so that I can hide the purple while Im at work. He came back and said he would lighten it with a red tone so that when the purple does fade, it wouldnt be that weird orange highlight dark hair usually gets. Found my new favorite place & will definitely be going back.

    Like is an understatement, I LOVE MY HAIR BY ANGELICA!! I booked with the best Miss Angelica. Let me tell you 10/10 she did not disappoint at all. It was my first time here and she provided the best experience for me possible. Not only does she have a beauty’s amazing soul, she’s so funny and has the best hands! I’ve been getting my hair done since I was 15 and she gave me the perfect haircut, also educated on my hair type as well. I’ve never felt so beautiful with my hair. De lo mío!!     This hair salon is all about people. I received services from Karla, Sonal and Prena. All of them are very good stylists, very professional and, are always welcoming.     I have tried to get a good layered/shaggy haircut for so long to no avail. Van was able to look at the picture I gave her and replicate it almost perfectly. It’s the first time I’ve had a hairdresser use a razor to create gorgeous layers instead of the bluntness of scissors. I am absolutely in love with my haircut for the first time in a long time! I am so happy I finally found a great hairdresser. The only problem I had is the way haircut is listed as $25 but then it was $35 at checkout because it was a layered look when $35 is listed as styled haircut. It was just a bit confusing wording wise to me.

    If I could give more stars, I would. I have been going to Sonal for 5 plus years and she is amazing! My hair color is highlighted blond which is not easy to get right. She is perfect with her technique and makes my hair healthy and beautiful. Her cuts are amazing too. It’s not often that you find a color specialist who gives great cuts, but Sonal does both masterfully. I live an hour away now and would go anywhere to have Sonal make me beautiful. If you’re looking for a great cut and color? Sonal at fantastic Sam’s is your girl.

    I went to Fantastic Sam’s in Riverview after having one of the hardest weeks I’ve had with very yellow/orange and uneven highlights that I was incredibly unhappy with. Nicole was so kind and understanding of my situation and was able to get me in right away to help me fix my hair before needing to go out of town to be with my family during a hard time.She listened to everything I asked for and made recommendations too. She not only fixed my color, but she made sure that my whole experience was amazing. I got to laugh and chat and enjoy my time at the salon in a way I wasn’t sure I could with my emotions being everywhere.When she finished the color correction, it looked amazing. She then went above and beyond and her and Karla dried and styled my hair in beautiful waves that made me smile walking out the door.They really took something as small as my hair color and used the opportunity to make my week brighter and did a fantastic job.

    Coming from NY , Im a bit anxious about who does my hairI up until I decided to give Fantastic Sams in Riverview a try, I haven’t had any luck with finding someone who could cut my hair as I needed it cut. I was pleasantly surprised at what a good job Preema did in styling my hair! As long as I can “ wash and go” in my everyday life, the cut is perfect. And that’s exactly what I got!! I’ll be back for sure!

    Van dose an amaizing job! I have a pale platinum blond that is hard to maintain and on top of that I do additional services that damage the hair follicle so my blond hair required a special treatment and defiantly an eye of a professional when done, Van did an amaizing job, you can see she knows the hair, she knows how to do the colors and especially that blond i have, I have finally found my stylist.     I cannot say enough good things about my experience today. I booked a cut and color with Maribel, and I have to say, this was the best service I have ever had at a salon.I arrived about 15 minutes early to my appointment and was greeted immediately. She receptionist let me know that Maribel would be ready around 2:00. She ended up running about 15 minutes late, but everyone was so pleasant it did not both me one bit.When I sat with Maribel, I showed her the dye job I wanted. She did multiple samples and really took her time. In the end, we decided on a different color which was my back-up because the blue I wanted was not going to work.She styled my hair exactly how I wanted it, and the coloring job was incredibly thorough. I really cannot stress how impressed I am.I am sorry I did not catch the other employees name, but she also needs to be commended. The salon closed at 5 but we did not finish my hair until almost 6 PM, and the other stylist stayed so mine wasnt alone! What customer service!!!Seriously, if you are skeptical about a chain place, please try Maribel out. I promise you will not be disappointed. 5 star service from the entire staff, I look forward to coming back.

    Fantastic Sam’s should become Fantastic Nicole’s. I called in asking if they were able to do highlights and cut for my daughter and highlights and a color for myself. Nicole was ready for us when we arrived (we were a few minutes away) and got right to work on my daughters hair. This was her first time having anything other than a trim done to her hair. Nicole looked at the inspiration picture my daughter showed her and went right to work. She got started on her highlights and then worked on my color. Nicole was able to balance her time between the two of us and work her magic on our hair. My daughter is absolutely beaming with joy at the magic of Nicole’s hard work. She won’t stop looking at her hair and smiling. My color and trim went smoothly and perfectly. My hair is so shiny and she didn’t miss a single strand of my greys. I’m so happy we made a a last minute call to this location and definitely will be back.

    I needed a change to my hair it was dry and dead at the ends. Karla was my stylist and she helped me find the right color. And executed the hair cut I wanted perfectly.     I went here for the first time and I have to say how pleased I am. I am very very sceptical of going to salons after many bad experiences. I usually color my own hair and get a basic trim ( less than an inch) every 4-6 months. I made an appointment online & chose Karla. I can start by saying that my appointment was at 9am. They open at 9am. I got there early and sat in the car until 9:02. I went in and Karla was ready for me. She did a thorough consultation with me and executed everything that I asked. Karla was very sweet & exceptionally attentive. She took her time and did not rush through any part of my appointment. I went in for a root touch up (on very resistant gray hair which i explained) and a hair cut (4 inches off plus long layers). I explained what I want in my haircut and she got a manager I believe to speak with me also to make sure she knew what I was asking for (which I appreciated instead of cutting my hair & not knowing what I wanted) . Anyways, she gave me exactly what I wanted. She blew out my hair & flat ironed it also. I have never ever in my life had someone this gentle work on my head/ hair. She blew my hair out on warm. My head NEVER got hot or burned or anything. She flat ironed my hair to perfection! It was so soft and so smooth like never before. She was so gentle and my experience was so peaceful and pleasant. I couldnt believe how soft & shiny and healthy my hair looked and felt. AND there was NO FRIZZ!! I have spent hundreds of dollars at high end salons and have never had an experience or out outcome like this. I will keep coming back to Karla. Karla Thank you so much for making me feel special & feel beautiful. I appreciate how you took your time & were so gentle with my hair. I had such a pleasant experience and you have me as a client!

    The one that did my hair was Maribel, my gosh is she a heaven sent! She made the biggest effort to turn my dead hair come alive again! She definitely knows what she’s doing.     Pam and Nicole are great. Pam does my daughters hair and is very patient. My daughter has a lot of hair and it can be difficult to manage, but Pam always does an excellent job. Nicole cuts my sons hair and is also very patient and always smiling while working. They both do very good work and all of the staff is very friendly.     At first, my moms satisfied with Maribels work. Since my mom moved here to Florida, she hasnt found the right person for her hair until Maribel meets her satisfaction. I went yesterday, supposed to be for a hair trimming, but I decided on a bit of make-over. I dont know, but I see myself as extra beautiful. Maribel created another Goddess!!! Ashly is kind and very professional. I wish more people were like her. I must be getting very old because I hate paying so much for a hair cut. But everything is getting to expensive.

    Please do yourself a favor and go see Nina At the Riverview location. I have been spending $100 plus on haircuts for the past few years. An off chance I went to see her… I will never go to anyone else again. She’s amazing. She did a cut and color on my hair I have never been happy with my hair until I got her. She truly transformed My hair from Laura for the over processed into beautiful smooth natural looking beautiful hair. Please ask for her she is absolutely amazing and such a kind and friendly person to be around. She made me feel absolutely comfortable knew exactly what I was asking for and exceeded my expectations. I will follow her anywhere she goes

    Sonal is a miracle worker! When Nicole had her grand opening, I had the pleasure of getting Sonal as my stylist. I had horrible hair from doing my own box coloring. I wanted an all over color with highlights. Sonal took one look & said that she’d be honest with me & that she would do the highlights but that not much would pull. Well she was correct. She advised that it would take us a year to get the highlights to pull all the way through & that she would work with me as long as I stayed away from the box color. That day I committed & almost exactly a year later I had full highlights! I will never go back to box color as long as I have Sonal around! Each visit I check in on Facebook, tag her & say it’s magic time! 10+ stars!

    I took my daughter to the Fantastic Sams in Riverview to get highlights for the first time. Sonal one of the hair stylists there did an amazing job!!! For the first time ever, my daughter walked out of a salon loving her hair! Sonal not only did highlights, but she trimmed and straightened my daughters hair as well. I highly recommend Sonal and Fantastic Sams in Riverview!

    Love this place and my stylist! maribel was super sweet and colored/cut it perfectly. my end goal is light enough hair to dye it pastel pink but i didnt want to damage it too much at once, and she was very understanding of that. we only did about half of the bleach process and i didnt particularly care what the color was by the end but it looks great anyway!maribel was also very patient with my request of no products containing silicone (specifically dimethicone) as it weighs my hair down too much, and she let me read the ingredients of each product (shampoo, conditioner, and toner)! the whole process took a few hours and i love the end result! Ill attach my before, after, and cut reference. (my hair is naturally as curly as hers but with the blow dry and style it makes it look straighter. once i wash it myself itll surely look more like the reference!)

    I live in an over 55 community close to this Fantastic Sams and many of my neighbors go to this salon. My daughter-in-law recommended Sonal and she has now cut my hair three times and I am so very pleased with her ability to cut my hair. She is both professional and very pleasant and I would highly recommend her.

    I visited Fantastic Sams this morning to get my highlights touched up. Sooo I was hoping to get the same person who did them last time but she no longer worked there. (Good thing) I had the pleasure of letting Alfred do my highlights.... Listen when I tell you he made me a very satisfied customer from start to finish. I was literally going to just have him do my highlights and then go over to my Dominican Salon to have them blow out my hair to get it straight. When I tell you Alfred had me feeling like I had just walked out of the Dominican Salon when he finished! He was freakin AWESOME!!! Thanks again!

    This location is clean and bright. The stylists get along like family which creates a very welcoming atmosphere. My favorite stylist is Andrea! She takes great care of me when I come in for a wax and haircut. I highly recommend this place.

    If you go to this location, or use their app, look for Andrew because that man is a great barber!I first found him at a location under 2 miles from my home. He made an adjustment to this location, but he is still under a 4 mile drive for me and I am more than happy to drive just a little bit more for a Fantastic cut. :)

    Ive been surprised with how happy I am with their work! Only reason Im not giving 5 stars is this last time the price shocked me a bit. The two previous time I was charged $75 for highlights and cut. This time I was charged twice that amount. Still cheaper than a regular salon but Im left wondering the cost jump.

    I went to another salon that did a terrible job on my color and cut and had to pay over $300.00. So, I decided to go in to Fantastic Sams to see if anything could be done to fix what was done to my hair. Cierra took care of me, she made sure that I was satisfied, called me the next day to see how I was doing with the new color and told me if I needed to fix the color that they would redo the color for me for free and even gave me some products to help with all the damage that my hair went though with all of the processing of different colors. It is a breath of fresh air that customers satification means something and they went beyond the call of duty. The owner, manager and all the staff is one of the best salons in the Riverview, Florida area.
