Such an amazing experience, I felt important from the time I walked until the time I left. Everyone was super helpful with all of my questions and the aesthetics and design of the salon is gorgeous. My daughter gets her haircut there and I just recently Did a spray tan and Lena was Awesome and super knowledgeable with all my questions! 10 out of 10 would recommend this salon for ALL of your needs, I promise you won’t be disappointed!

I met with Jessalyn for a partial highlight on my ethnic curly hair. I had the best service! She was attentive, awesome conversations, great energy and knew how to handle my hair!At the end of service my curls were soft and lush/hydrated and with the most beautiful highlights. I was in awe at the results!I cannot recommend Jessalyn enough for my wavy/curly hair and ethnic queens !I drove 2 hours for the service and it did not disappoint! She was worth it

This was my first time going to an Aveda salon, I picked it mainly because of all the positive reviews and very professional image. I was recommended Jesalyn when booking an appointment since I have curly hair. Can confirm she is definitely a curl expert!! Theres always some anxiety when going to a new stylist, but she did such an amazing job and checked in with me frequently to make sure I was comfortable and happy every step of the way. It really shows in the end result. I highly recommend her (and this salon) and will be back in a few months!

Cesar took care of me for a few years before I escaped away to another state. Always kind, detail-oriented, and attentive, he took extra care in establishing a hair-dye system that worked for my low-porosity curls (and especially stubborn roots, which hate taking dye). He saved me a headache, and then never complained about the tedium when I wanted that same style multiple times a year. :)

Salon Norrell was a beautiful location and offered many services. However, what stands out the most is their up and coming stylist Jesalyn!! She did the most amazing job with my hair. This was my first time ever coloring my hair and she made the process super easy and assured me she would take good care of me! And she did not disappoint!! I can no longer see my unsightly greys and my hair feels and looks amazing!! I will definitely be seeing her again in the future. Thank you so much Aveda and Jesalyn for the awesome experience!

Sarah is amazing! I needed a new stylist and she did everything perfect! She is a color specialist and also did a great hair cut! I am very picky about my hair as I relocated here and my best friend did my hair for 16 years. I felt comfortable and the pricing is fair. I came in needing a color correction. I had chunky, brassy streaks from a highlight that did not fade well. Shay recommended a simple beautiful burgundy all over color that blended well with my dark hair, and would fade to a more natural color. She also did a great makeup touchup and mini facial as part of the service. My hair looks amazing.

I’m usually not one to write reviews, but I had such an amazing experience I just had to! I had my hair done by Taylor, and she was so sweet and kind! Her energy was amazing and she was great at making someone smile! Not only was she great with my hair and took her time and made sure I was comfortable with it. She did my eyebrows, too for the first time ever!! I’ve always been nervous about my eyebrows, and she made them look great! She has amazing skills , and my hair looks beautiful. Even since I was doing such a large change to my hair she made sure to take it down slowly and make sure I was comfortable with my curtain bangs! She made personal connections with me and made sure that I looked great for my fiancé, returning home from deployment! I have never had a bad experience at this salon because it’s a beautiful place was beautiful people, but she was absolutely my best experience, I’ve had so far!

I like going to the Aveda salon in Hyde Park. It’s fun to plan some extra time to walk around the area before or after my appointment. Madison is the second hairdresser I have had there . Both have been excellent and I believe the management does a great job choosing and mentoring their stylists .Madison is very easy to talk to, and asks smart questions about the cut and look you’re going for, and it shows in the final product. She pays attention to and remembers what I ask her for, and there afterwords remembers your preferences . I am always very happy with the results from Aveda ,

All these years coloring my hair the style was included in the price so now that this has changed it made me quite upset. Plus why I am still paying the $2 fee for sanitation? Went here for a pramasana and deep conditioning. The experience was relaxing and my hair looks great. Katie took care of me and she was very kind and did a fine job. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed promptly and with great professionalism. Jessy was right on time and took her time going over my intended visit and we talked through my goal of getting it colored eventually. She asked for my opinions and worked with me to create a whole new look. She was kind, personable, full of knowledge, and she made me feel so comfortable with everything being done. She didnt push any product or service but I took her recommendations because I could tell it was coming from a good place. She didnt rush the process at all, she gave me some great tips to take care of my hair and helped me identify a hair care schedule. Based on Jessys impeccable service as well as the cleanliness and exceptional assortment of complimentary service, Im only going back to this business for my hair needs. Alaina cuts my hair EXACTLY how I like it every time, and while it isnt a complicated style, I am very picky about it, and very few people have gotten it right over the years.The salon is also awesome; they serve a beverage of your choice including champagne or beer if you want it, and include treatments with a cut - I highly recommend the scalp massage and eye cream treatment.

I had an incredible visit to Salon Norrell from the moment I walked in and was greeted by the friendly receptionist Kyla. She asked me to select two complimentary services in addition to the color and haircut I had booked. I chose the scalp and hand massage. The salon atmosphere is fun but they are serious about pampering clients. New artist in training Olivia was incredible. She talked with me about what I was looking for in color and cut and explained how she was going to achieve the look. Her mentor Christine checked in with us and assured me that I was in great hands. I was offered beverages and had a refreshing mimosa while I settled in for some much needed hair maintenance. Every square foot of the salon is stylish and designed to inspire guests to be their very best version of themselves. I relaxed in the gorgeous lounge while my hair processed then proceeded to have a spa experience with the hand/scalp massage while my hair was rinsed/shampooed in the lather lounge. Hair cut and styling followed with Olivia’s precise execution. I loved the service I received and can’t wait to visit Salon Norrell again.

Today I had a keratin treatment done with Anthony. He took the time to tell me how to care for my hair after the treatment including how to sleep with it. He was very friendly and informative. He made me feel comfortable and the shampoo he gave me was wonderful! He had a gentle touch, not one time during my blowout did it hurt and the result was beautiful. Salon Norrell is a large beautiful space that is unlike most salons as it is not stuffy or pretentious, and instead is easygoing and light. I have been going to Kristi for years and she is meticulous, always gives me a consultation when I want to make color changes and really cares about the work she does. The staff are kind and easy to talk to which I appreciate as I have a lot of social anxiety. The shampoo room is a special treat as it’s a no talking area with dimmer lighting and soft music. I had a great experience at Salon Norrell last week! I was warmly greeted by Jalynn, who was so helpful in connecting me to the right stylist based on my needs. She showed me a menu of relaxing rituals to start my service, from which I could pick two. Kristine was my stylist and I could tell she loves and lives her craft. She gave a thorough consultation and had pictures on hand to help us both get an idea of what I wanted. After having a few bad experiences since moving to Florida last year, Kristine was able to clean up the mess others had made of my hair. Beyond her skill, which she seems to fine tune with regular continuing education, she had a bright heart and personality, and Im grateful to have been connected with her. This was the best salon experience Ive had in Florida yet and recommend her to my own clients when the opportunity arises! I have been coming here for a little over than three years. Kristine has been my stylist and I could not be any happier! I discovered this place soon after I have relocated from Chicago, where I used to go to another Aveda salon. So, I had high expectations, and the courteous and friendly members of this location have never failed! I have coarse, unruly, wavy, and fully gray hair, and all four different styles that Kristine cut for me worked out terrific! Kristine knows every trick that a hairstylist is supposed to know--at least the ones who cut my hair!--from thinning out to cutting perfect layers. She is never shy of trying new styles, and best of all, if you showed her pictures of different styles that you like, she will give you one that combines all! Super creative without being crazy. She, like other staff members here , is very patient with the endless demands of her clients ( I brought in a co-worker for a hair cut, and Kristine did her daughters hair and put a really nice, light, make-up). Well, in short, every time I get a haircut I know I will get compliments, even from my husband! I recommend the Salon and Kristine with no reservations for a 100% satisfactory experience!

From the second I called to make my appointment to the follow-up text after I left, every interaction was wonderful. Taylor is a new artist but she was professional, friendly, and super talented! She did a great job with my roots and cut/blow dry. I even decided to get a little crazy and add some curtain bangs. She asked for assistance when she needed it and seemed to be very confident and excited to be a stylist! She even sold me a product without even trying haha! Because of my experience today I can say that I will definitely be returning and I’m really excited about the new location they are opening in 2021 (which will offer manis and pedis!!). The best thing that has happened to me since I moved to Tampa was to get Chelsea as my stylist.I have been to the salon 6 times now and Chelsea has cut my hair 5 of those times. Amber did an amazing job on my Balayage. Gorgeous salon and a very relaxing service. Free facial and hand scrub with any service. All the products are natural and cruelty free, not to mention they all smell amazing, unlike other products that smell like chemicals. I was served wine and a light snack along with my service. You really get the VIP treatment every time you go in. Highly recommend.
