    I havent gotten my eyebrows threaded in so long. My eyebrows are one of the main feautures on my face and I was nervous about letting someone else do them. When I walked in and saw Shehnaz so focused on the person before me, I knew I was in good hands. Thank you, my brows look great!!

    Came in and didn’t realize it was appreciation day, and got my eyebrows done for free!!! But of course gave a tip! And to my surprise Sangita, did my eyebrows EXACTLY the way I like them!     I don’t know why they have all these bad reviews! I’ve been going there for 2 years now, and I love this place! Atessa is amazing, she does a great job every time! I have nice thick brows because of her!And just as a side note, if someone is not all cheerful and welcoming when you walk in doesn’t mean that they are being rude to you, sometimes it’s a cultural thing like in NYC for example, you wouldn’t expect everyone to be so bubbly and complimenting there lol.

    I have been going here for a few years now.. when I first came my eyebrows were STRUGGLING.. they were over-plucked and sad lol I grew them out and went here and Atessa worked with my natural brow shape, my eyebrows are full and perfect now. I come all the way from Clearwater every time. I don’t let anyone else touch my brows anymore, I don’t even touch them up between appointments. Atessa only!!! HahaI get compliments on my eyebrows all the time, she really does a beautiful job. I don’t know why they have all these bad reviews.. “customer service?” Really? “Rude?” Really? Chill out yall.. it’s an eyebrow place, it’s not that serious.

    I had had enough of Frida Khalo. A girl must do what she must do. As a friend of mine taught me: “To be beautiful, one must suffer.” I had kept putting off going to Brow Art 23 out of sheer laziness, but the problem became obvious when Amy, the lady who does my nails, kindly offered to wax my eyebrows. Forget the humiliation I stored as she carefully placed the pink and white acrylic on my nails. She was willing to change her profession of nails technician to cosmetology expert in order to help me… Yes, she was right. My eyebrows had become so long I could easily use them as part of my bangs (if I had any.) Thank God she was kind enough not to mention my Cantiflas mustache. As she glazed my nails with lacquer I pondered if I should volunteer as a Chewbacca for the upcoming Star Wars film.I don’t like waxing my face. I have burned eyelids and scalded my upper lip. “Unfun” and “unpretty.” Friends baffled as to what to make out of that “sore-looking” new mole I was displaying. Never again.So I walked my Khalo self to Brow Art 23 at International Mall and suffered for beauty’s sake. I have really bad luck with Threading Stylists (as soon as I get used to one, she quits, which is not an excuse but explains my resemblance to Cousin IT.) The young woman who tended to my hairy problem did an amazing job, but it was her last day! She assured me that the other two stylists who I had met when I walked in are as great which is a consolation of sorts. I had forgotten the rather rough tingling sensation. However, “to be beautiful, one must suffer.” I rather suffer physically than suffer the embarrassment of a well-intended heavily accented candid comment.
