As someone who is very particular about their hairstyle and cautious about letting anyone touch my hair, I must admit that everyone at this salon does an absolutely amazing job. From the mother to the daughter, even the blow dryer ladies and the wash lady, everyone is skilled and attentive.I truly enjoy my time at the salon and highly recommend it to anyone in the area looking for a good natural hairstylist or a perfect blow dry with soft curls, or even a sew in or micro-links.The expertise and service of both the mother and daughter is exceptional.

I love going to her salon! Ive been going there since I was little and she is always so kind and her hair treatments are very helpful. Since Ill be moving to another state, Ill have to find someone who can do my 4C hair just as well as she can, but I truly dont think Ill find one. I might fly in just to get my hair done from her again. I love her services so much and I definitely recommend her salon.

I have been here twice and the ladies here do a wonderful job. They treat you like a friend and they also keep the place clean. They make sure I am comfortable when washing and styling my hair. I have natural afro curly hair and they charge me $135 for a keratin treatment that actually defines my curls after I wash my hair and does not damage them. My hair has been healthy and growing and I am thankful to Cris Mari for helping with that.

Visited this salon for my first time today for a Dominican blowout, deep conditioning and a hair trim. The service was fast and I loved the results. The price was also affordable. There was also a great amount of teamwork amongst the staff. I will surely be visiting this salon again! Thank you.

The first time I went to this salon I was scared because of some of the reviews but I am sooooo glad I walked in and will never leave.This is my experience: When I went to Cris Mari hair salon my hair was broken, falling out, had a million colors from previous salons etc., I was acostumed to hair relaxer.When Maria saw my hair she recommended to switch from relaxer to Keratin, I told her that I had it done before at Another place and I did not like the result I also told her that I had paid a lot of money at Another salon and at the moment could not afford it. Maria explained to me the process which was not the same I had gone thru before and gave me pricing and stated it will be the best thing to do for your hair and by God yes it was.My hair from that point on changed, it got strong and healthy, it grows like crazy, I love her deep conditioning treatments. The best thing I ever did. I have been going thru medical treatments that normally would cause my hair to fall out 100% but thanks to the care I receive at Cris Mary hair salon, I still have my hair on my head and its beautiful and strong.I must point out something about previous reviews:1st this salon is naturaly Dominican and what you see is what you expect from a true Dominican business, go to a Dominican barbershop and you will see or even a store or restaurant, we love it, it brings back memories of when one lived in D.R.2nd I have seen people here complain about the salon yet I recognize them from visits at the salon. So why complain if you keep going back it must not be that bad, maybe address what bothers you with the owner instead of airing out something that can be fixed with a simple talk.3rd Cris Mary hair salon has soooooo many clients, I have heard of some that come from out of state, out County and even from other cities to get their hair done there, that speaks loud of a business.4th I feel their prices are very fair considering what others charge with a unpersonalized service, and I know this for a fact due personal experiences.5th when I go out to the salon I dont go in a hurry its supouse to be Me time so Im not in a rush and thats how you relax, I understand some people may like quiet but for that you need to go to a different type of place. I have never been to a quiet hair salon.6th some people feel that the replies of the owner are rude, I could not sleep so when I went online to make my appt for today, I read All the reviews good and bad and its funny because, some people still go to Cris Mary despite saying all the bad things they said, the answers of the owner are not rude (you cant call rude when you are plolite called out or when confronted with the truth), and yes the place is not quiet but hey I look forward to that, it entertaining and sometimes when I am there I become part of the conversation 😊.There is always room for improvement at 100% all of the business in the world, but Cris Mary hair salon is my home, they take good care of me even thru my sickness and treatment, the are very accommodating, if they feel something will hurt your hair they will not do it and I respect that because it shows they care. They know my name but they may call me sweetie or love or peli roja or anything else but I like that. Sometimes they come across as rude because they are pretty straight foward and I like that, I prefer the truth and honesty if it helps me over what I want to hear if it hurts me.I going today for my maintenance wash after 3 hard weeks of medical treatment😊

I love Cris Mari Dominican Hair Salon!. These guys are the real deal! They do beautiful work. They are Professionally Trained, They are Real, They are Caring, They Genuine and yes They are loud. Most Latins, Italians and Europeans are. This is what makes it great, it makes the time spent on your hair feel like its going faster. I Love this place and the people that work here. I have been coming here for 7 years. I am originally from New York and would come here while taking care of my parents and visiting my sister. I have had my hair colored, cut, Ive had the my hair Botox done here multiple times. (all at during different years of course). They help repair my botched hair job from another location. And restored my hair to go health. They listen to what you want, are receptive to what you dont want and mostly will not hesitate to tell what you should consider doing. And its not for their benefit but for your hairs. I travel over and hour to get my hair done here. Coming to Cris Mari is like being home. It is like being in your living room with your family. They have alway taken me as a walk in, when I call same day and when I planned ahead and actually made an appointment. There prices are right on par with other locations. Great salon atmosphere great women having wonderful conversation and laughs, additionally the service provided was amazingly efficient for a busy Saturday morning all stylist worked together so I was constantly receiving service. My hair came out beautiful and Maria was very tentative in asking me just how loose I would like my curl pattern before beginning. I would highly recommend this salon for your hair care needs. As many women receive so many diverse styles and all looked amazing. I did the Keratin Express treatment and overall very pleased and will return.Also note pricing depends on your hair type thickness length etc. so please be mindful it may not be a set price.

I had an amazing experience today at Cris Marie Salon. Quarantine left me with roots that needed a dye job and frizz that needed a keratin treatment. I managed to schedule an appointment for the day after I called, and could not be more pleased with the service I received. The salon was immaculately clean, and easy to find. I had Cris do my color, and Christina do my keratin. Both ladies were extremely friendly and personable. I thoroughly enjoyed spending time there and conversing with them. And my hair came out looking fantastic. They matched my existing color almost perfectly, and the keratin treatment was faster than what Im used to, and looks amazing when I left. I love it here! Been coming here about 3 years now. My hair has actually shown great improvement in texture and growth since I started coming here. The owner, Maria is very knowledgeable and has a deep concern for her customers satisfaction. Prices are reasonable, staff is friendly, actually has business hours on Sunday (limited), ample off street parking. To me Cris Mari exceeds in their skills over other Dominican Hair Salons in Tampa Bay.

I come at least twice a year since 2018. Family owned and operated. They do a good job. My hair has been growing up Ike crazy. I dont know if its because of them or the treatment but Im happy about it. Plus they have a charity giving food and other supplies for kids and the Dominican Republic so when you spend money here youre also helping fund the charity.

There was a wedding in Tampa which I needed to attend which we flew from NJ and was not able to find a place open before 10AM until I spotted this salon. I am glad I found this gem because they saved my hair that day. When my mother in law and I had to be ready by 10:30AM, we left exactly by 10:30AM which I so happily surprised. The staff was understanding and helpful on a busy Saturday and I never felt this satisfied for a salon. I had a wash, blow dry, clip on extensions, and low curls while my in law had her styled in 1.5 hours. They all worked together to get us ready. I wish I give more than 5 stars because I highly recommend this place.

I started going to Cris Mari about 4 months ago. My hair has grown so much and feels like silk when I leave the salon. I moved 4 hours away for my job for the summer and still made regular appointments to have my hair done here. I never have to wait long and they always have me out in a reasonable amount of time-the quickest being 1.5 hours. Recently had color put in and have had so many people rave about how much they love it. I will continue to go here and recommend it to anyone in the Bay area looking for a great salon.

Yesterday I went in as a walk in and new to the area, not knowing what to expect . I was so extremely pleased with my experience at the salon.I went asking for a cut and deep conditioning treatment to rehydrate my hair. The stylist/owner asked me questions and told me to have seat and check out the website of the salon and told me that a particular treatment will definitely rebuild my hair and will not need to cut my hair as much as I was planning to after the treatment.Well she was so right !! The outcome was amazing and I’m ecstatic with the results of my hair and the hair cut style she gave me. I will recommend this salon to anyone .

Cris Mari Salon has made me feel like a WOMAN AGAIN!!!!! I have not been able to do my hair in almost 5 yrs and it is extremely curly, unmanageable, and long. With the help of all the stylists I have straight Silky, Long Beautiful hair!!! They even saved it when I had done my own personal chop of my hair when I couldn’t take the unmanageabitly of it, it was becoming dreadlocks… Couldn’t be Any Happier!!!

Wow what a great place to have your hair done and at great prices! They work with difficult hard to manage hair and I’ve seen them fix hair that I could not imagine was repairable! They are all very sweet and sometimes they bring coffee and goodies for all their clients to enjoy. And yes if they are applying strong chemicals on a client there are strong aromas but they try their best by adding fans and prop open their door to ventilate. Hence there are aromas at the nail salon as well. But overall most importantly my hair is very thick and long and curly and they can manage that better than anyone yet.

I’m new to Tampa. I’ve only been here twice but I really like this place. I normally get a blow out when I get my hair done, and yesterday I got a color and style. It looked really good and I got so many compliments! The ladies are all very nice and knowledgeable, and not pushy mike some other place. It’s mainly family and everyone seems to know each other. They do talk a lot and joke around, which might annoy some people, but I found that very fun and endearing; it’s nice that they’re so close. It adds to the vibe! Next time I go, I’m getting the Botox treatment as recommended by the stylists. The prices are very reasonable and I’m happy I found this place.

It was my first time getting the keratine treatment here in USA and MARI made a great great job, I cant describe how wonderful, shiny, smooth, straight , healthy and beautiful my hair is looking after she worked on it.I only have received compliments! BUT wait! there is more!CRIS cut my hair and I totally loved it.I was getting a short hair style and she was very careful and patient, making sure to cut only the right amount that I asked.The price for the services and products were very very good, thats why I even bought to them an awesome shampoo and conditioner to take care of my keratine treatment.Im so happy and grateful for all what they did and all the results that I got!

This was my first time going into a shop and my first time getting my hair colored and the botox treatment. I have to admit I was a little skeptical, but my hair looks great. I have natural African American hair and it is so silky now. There was a bit of a wait time due to the number of clients there, but it wasnt a huge deal. Awesome salon. They never have you waiting for too long. They treat everyone like family and are very nice too all of the costumers that come in. I got the keratin treatment and is shining like Ive never seen before. My hair is lasting like this for a very long time and it never frizzes like it used to before i went to the salon. All in all, this salon is the best and Im going to go there for any special occasion or anything else that comes up.

Great Service! Had my hair cut and highlighted and love it! I have slightly damaged hair and they gave me tips on how to help it grow out strong and healthy without so many split ends. (Ask them about the Keratin Treatment). No matter what youre going in for, youll be happy you did. They take their time and do it right! Called and was lucky enough to get a same day apt. The results of my blowout after the Botox treatment is still amazing two weeks later. My hair is very silky. I love this place my hair always looks excellent and its a family business and they make you feel like part of there family. After a long stressful week I come here to get my hair done excellent wash, Dominican hair blower and excellent flat iron. I used to go here years ago when I lived on this side of town. Went back today because theyre open on Sundays! Well, Im coming back for good now...my blowout and barrel curls are 🔥🔥🔥!!! I took a star because prices arent posted and I had no idea what costs what ($175 for botox treatment, color, trim, blowout and style on medium-length natural afro-textured hair). Auntie isnt the best shampoo lady...I truly appreciate an invigorating shampoo and she was over it already 😆! Still love them, though!

Words cannot express, but my experience at CrisMari was AMAZING! As a first time client and fairly new to town I had been looking for a good hairdresser in the area and a much needed change with my hair and I most definitey found MORE than one great stylist at this salon! From start to finish I received EXCELLENT service from Mari and her daughters and staff! Such beautiful women inside and out and they were all so nice, personable, professional, and Lord knows they can do some hair! Lol! They worked very fast and efficiently as a team and individually and they made sure everyone there including myself was satisfied. My hair came out BETTER than expected and I will definitely return! I recommend anyone-Espiecially newbies like myself, to check them out! They are AWESOME!

The owner cristina, i believe, did my hair. I got highlights and keratin done. It turned out amazing. I can tell they all know what they are doing. Ive had a bad experience before with a different salon and havent been back to one since to get my hair done. Ive been dyeing my own ever since :-/ .... I dont regret giving this place a chance. After a year of being in Tampa, searching for a salon I can call home, I finally found it!! I love Crismari salon! From the second I walked in, I felt like family and thats because these 3 ladies, (mom and her two daughters) were so nice, funny and welcoming. I paid $125 for a full head of highlights, which isnt something I would normally allow myself to spend that much on but I am so glad I did. I received highlights, a wash, condition, blowout, flat iron and trim and all of that happened in under 3 hours, which is saying a whole lot considering the thickness and length of my curly hair. Most hairstylists look like a deer in headlights when I walk into their salon but at Crismari, they treated me like royalty and oohed and ahhed over my hair! My highlights look amazing and I left with silky hair, which is a rarity for me (soft yes, silky almost never). Not only will I be back, I cant wait to go back! Excited to see what my hair will look like over the next several months. It feels so healthy now!

I love love love this place. I moved to Florida on a whim from Texas. I decided to goo natural which was something I had never ever thought about. I have always had sew-ins and sometimes perms, but I have not had one in over 5 years. I went in for a consultation and they were so helpful. I thought I needed a perm, but they informed me that perms can really damage your hair and they recommended either a hair botox or a keritain treatment. I ended up get the botox. I love my hair. I couldnt stop touching it. Its smooth and overall healthy again. They were all so sweet . I made my next appointment and cant wait to go back. Thank you guys so much.

Went in for a wash and set and wowww!! My hair was so straight for a whole week I didnt even have to touch it up ! My husband said it was the best my hair has ever been done! It even rained during that week ! Love this place and highly recommend!

I love Crismari Salon The are very professional and the best at blow outs! Every time i go there they take care of me. They of course speak spanish at times it is a dpminican salon so that is expected. But they make you feel right at home and all the clients i see there have been going there for years and are all very satisfied. I am a business owner my self and i would send and refer any of my clients to them with out a doubt that they would be well taking care of:)
