From the moment I sat down, Erin made the experience enjoyable and informative. We started with a friendly conversation about my hair and potential hair goals—something I hadn’t even considered before. Erin took the time to explain different styling options and maintenance tips, which was incredibly helpful.Her approach was both fun and educational, and her sense of humor made the whole experience even better.     Erin was friendly, timely, and professional. I wear hijab so going to salon with private room guaranteed privacy and made me feel comfortable. She offered me a drink as well, very hospitable.     Erin, the owner, was absolutely amazing and took great care of me and my hair. The location is beautiful, they have really made the place feel so simultaneously upscale and personal. Erin herself was very patient with all of my thousands of questions (it’s been so long since i’ve gotten my hair professionally done) and gave me GREAT advice. I struggled to describe exactly what I was envisioning for my new haircut, but she still managed to pull off exactly what I wanted. She was also extremely personable, made me feel super comfortable in her chair, and showed great passion for her work. I will, without a doubt, be returning to her salon and recommending everyone I can to go to her!

    Finding a new hairdresser is hard. Especially for someone like me who’s not great at knowing what hairstyle to get or that looks good. I was so delighted with my haircut from Erin! She was so nice and professional. She asked questions to make sure she had a good idea of what I wanted and even though I didn’t describe it well my haircut was exactly what I wanted.     Erin did my hair and my daughter’s at the end of April this year. She was incredible and so patient. We moved down just before Christmas of 2018 and have seen several stylists never finding one that fit for us until we met Erin. She reminded me of our stylist we had up north, so sweet and listens to what you want while offering her professional opinion and options. Her salon is very comfortable and welcoming.     I’m new to Tampa and needed to find a new hair stylist. Found EMG on google and was amazed by the 5 star reviews. I reached out to Erin and she allowed me to make a same day appointment. I have officially found my go to stylist on the first try! The entire experience was perfect. Erin is so friendly and professional and creates the perfect atmosphere, an upscale salon concept at an amazing value. I felt like we were old friends hanging out in her living room (really a private suite), and left with a perfect haircut. I can not say enough nice things about Erin and her beautiful salon.     If you are looking for a private suite to get your hair done in Tampa, this is the place!!! I cannot show my hair around men for religious reasons and finding a private suite and a stylist around me that knows what she is doing is very hard to come by! Erin takes the time and energy to talk about what you are looking to get done and gives her honest opinion before proceeding to servicing her clients. During my appointment, I had the entire suite to myself, only her and I. I felt very at ease and comfortable the entire time I was there. Highly recommend this place to anyone in need of getting their hair done and wanting privacy. She did a great job on my color, highlight and haircut, she made my hair come alive! Thanks girl :)

Let me tell you this is truly the first time I dont feel like I have to rush home and fix it. Erin is fantastic.     Erin has been my hairstylist for years. When we started working together, it was for haircuts only and I did my own color at home. Then one day I really screwed up. My home dye job resulted in a kind of ugly gray-blond with green tints. Not good. I called Erin. She fixed my color the next day and she did such a great job that theres been no turning back. Erin is an excellent colorist - no matter what look youre seeking. My hair is a natural style blond with highlights and low-lights. The color itself is very pretty and a natural look. Ive seen her work for clients who are more adventuresome - like a bright pink - and it always looks just right. Erin is easy to work with, ready to discuss options if youre ready for a change, and she gives great scalp massages that feel wonderful after a hard work week. Oh, and shes fun to talk to and an excellent hostess at her salon. Shes great. She deserves a try - just make the appointment!

    The salon was lovely, and Erin did a truly fantastic job! The violet tone blonde she created was exactly what I wanted! I love my color and the cut too! Also I am now a huge fan of the organic hair color line that she has; the color and shine are excellent, and I left with my hair having zero chemical scent. Amazing!     Absolutely best in the area! I am pretty picky about my haircut and know what I want. Erin is a good listener and skillful hairstylist. I recently moved to the area and it always comes with research of a good hair saloon. I went through couple of them and it seemed like no one listened to me, not to add that I had to wait for about 30mins after my appointment time. Erin takes notes of what is important to you and serves with professional advices. She was punctual and her saloon is really nice and warm... most importantly I am finally happy with how my hair looks!

    So the goal is to get a great-looking hair style—but I keep returning because my hair not only looks great and gets frequent compliments—but Erin makes me feel as good as my hair looks.She’s professional, yet personable. She’s easy to talk to and listens. Then she makes sure she understands what you want before she starts. I have very long hair and want to keep it long and healthy. We talked about ways to lighten it and how to style it. I not only left living the style—but I was able to keep the style looking good everyday.     I don’t get my hair cut often but I found EMG salon off of a google search and had to make an appointment after reading the reviews. Erin is exactly what the reviews describe. She is honestly a miracle worker and the whole experience was beyond expectations. I had a reference photo that she only had to glance at.     I’m so happy I found Erin. I must stress that I found her because of these amazing reviews here on Google. I wanted to keep the love going by writing my own review and helping to keep her reviews current. Let me just highlight some things so it’s not so long winded 🤪.PERSONALITY! I’ve lived in Florida for 1.5 yrs now, been through three other stylists. Main reason for not staying... lack of personality. Erin definitely has the best personality. I felt like I was hanging out with a girlfriend I’ve known for years..LISTENS! Full consultation before she starts, truly listens to wants, needs, concerns. She asks YOUR permission before using certain products and about your cut. Such a rare trait!.PRICES! I was a little shocked at the amount at the end as I was expecting another $20 for the amount of my haircut. Even though she is a salon owner... tip her! She does not charge enough for the amount of time and care that went into my appointment. (My personal opinion).AVAILABILITY! Where I am pretty flexible with my own schedule, she offered me a same day appointment. I’m going back only 4 days later for my color. I’m used to having to wait 3-4 weeks for an appointment. Let me stress! She is busy, she just accommodates to get you in quickly.If you are an anxious person when it comes to your hair grooming needs (like myself), you need not worry. A true professional, that is a ton of fun, and amazing at her trade! Thank you so much Erin! You now have another loyal client!!

    Erin is the BOMB !!! I have tried multiple salons in the 4 years I have been living in Florida, and have finally found MY forever salon. I googled best rated salons in my area and found EMG with, at the time 75 - 5 star reviews WOW I thought who gets ALL 5 star reviews ?? THIS GIRL DOES !! Glad to be # 78 !! Erin took the time with me before my first appointment with her, to discuss color, as my hair is extremely dry and course AND gray. I love reds and she did a FABULOUS job with the cut and color. I had my hair colored for my sons wedding and received multiple compliments on the color from so many people :) Thanks again for fantastic job !!

    Im a repeat customer to EMG. Have had my hair bleached, dyed, and cut. I always walk out with exactly what I wanted. Erin is extremely skilled; she is so thorough with the bleaching and dying process (I have very dark hair and A LOT of it). Plus, shes super funny and easy to talk to. Its also amazing to have a private room where you can have snacks and watch netflix while getting your hair done. Now I can never go back to a regular salon again with trying to talk to someone while 5 blowdryers are on in the background. :)I highly recommend EMG!

    Erin discussed my hair, wants and plan before even touching my hair. She wasnt pushy about any details, which is rare for a stylist. My hair is slightly wavy with many cowlicks and tons of volume. She knew to cut my bangs long at first, dry and then go from there which was great. She worked with me through the entire process until the end to make sure I liked what I walked out with. Ill be going back, and recommending others as well.

    This place is awesome! I recently relocated to the Tampa area and was in desperate need of a stylist. I hate having to go to someone new since I have had really bad experiences in the past. After reading the reviews I decided to give them a try and I am so glad I did. This place is clean and very welcoming and everyone is very nice. Erin took the time to talk to me about what I wanted and shared her thoughts with me before we even got started. She really listened and knows her stuff. I spoke with a client of another stylist and she spoke very highly of her stylist. For selfish reasons I would want to keep Erin to myself, ladies I highly recommend this place if you are looking for someone who will take the time to get to know you and what you want. I love how my hair turned out, I am now a loyal customer.

    I would put ten stars If I could! I got a spa-finder gift card from a client and when I typed hair cut in the search bar on the site this was the first salon to come up and I AM SO HAPPY IT DID!!     EMG Salons, is by far the best salon Ive been to.You walk in the door and are instantly greeted with a warm face.The decor is amazing and feels right at home.Offers drinks, cozy couches, TVs to watch any show of your choosing.Shes warm and easy to talk to, as i struggle with social anxiety.I felt no pressure to talk to her during the silence! My hair feels so soft and healthy and I live my new bangs! Theyre cut perfectly just how I asked.The atmosphere and her personality is truly amazing.
