    This place was amazing!! Owner was VERY welcoming, punctual, and respectful with excellent customer service. She was very attentive, offering drinks and making conversation. I was very upset with my last hairstylist because of a very bad haircut but she was able to fix it and turn my mood upside down and make me more confident. I highly and strongly recommended this salon!!!! Owner’s name is Yisel.

    This is a long overdue review for Yissel. My friend and I needed our hair done for a wedding. We are just visiting from out of state and we didn’t know where to go for a reputable hair salon. We found The Hair Bar by Yissel and she did a great job in cutting my hair! I have to say, her technic is precise! I had my haircut from her last November 2024 and until this day, it still looks great - looking healthy and retained its shine (since she did a treatment on it). Thank you Yissel! You’re fantastic!

    I called last minute and Yissel was able to fit me in quickly. I had a shampoo and deep conditioning and a Dominican blow out. She also styled my hair just how I wanted it. My hair looked amazing and I will definitely be back. I have really long thick hair and she knew exactly what to do. She also did temporary lashes.

    Yiamalkah was SO sweet and professional! Worked with me pricing wise and the fact that I had oil in my hair but didn’t want a wash. She was super understanding, patient and gentle with my scalp! Even gave me helpful tips for my hair! I made my next appointment immediately during the appointment just off how careful she is with my 4c hair! Moving to a new state can be challenging finding someone to trust with your hair and I’m so glad I chose to try this place!

    I want to start this off by saying I NEVER leave reviews because it’s hard to find people in the service industry that leave a mark. Yissel is honestly so worth. Not only did she schedule me in after the hair salon closed but it was so last minute. I was a brand new customer but she treated me as if I had been sitting in her chairs for years. Gave me pointers about how to start my healthy hair journey and we were there 2 hours past closing time and she didn’t complain once. I’ve been going to multiple salons in Tampa since I moved out here several years ago and as long as she stays there I will only be doing business there from now on. THANK YOU YISSEL!!

    These ladies went above and beyond. I took my 5th grade daughter here for a cut and style and to get her nails done for the first time. They were extremely, clean friendly and had such amazing customer service. They even fixed my self done hair cut after I joked about it being pretty decent (in reality, it was not). My daughter was nervous to cut her hair but she soon felt very comfortable as the stylest walked her through the cut and kept her legth.This was by far the best experience Ive ever had in the Tampa Bay area. From the nails that were better than the pictures we showed, to the fabulous cuts, and they top it off with thier budget friendly prices. We will not go anywhere else but here from now on.100/10 stars and more!

    The best hair care experience. My hair came out so beautiful and shiny. I have gotten a traditional Dominican blowout before but nothing compared to giselles work. I will be visiting again soon.

    I needed my hair done really fast and I went to google and typed silk press and alot of places popped up but I decided to choose this location because she has alot of before and after so I called and made an appointment for 2:30 but I decided I wanted to show up early and let’s just say I was in and out .. loved the deep conditioner wash .. but it was worth it and I’ll be back

    OMG, obsessed with my hair after going to Hair Bar Experts in Tampa! Seriously, these stylists are magicians. ‍🤩I went in wanting a whole new look — a fresh cut and color — and they totally nailed it. They listened to what I was going for (major volume, please!), and even gave some great suggestions based on my hair type.Let me tell you, these people know their stuff. They werent just cutting and coloring, they were explaining everything they were doing, which made me feel super confident that I was in good hands. Plus, the whole vibe at the salon was so friendly and fun.The best part? The price! Everything was super reasonable, especially considering how amazing my hair looks and feels now. Healthy, bouncy, and exactly the cut and color I wanted.Oh, and did I mention they do nails too? This place is seriously a one-stop shop for all things hair and beauty.     I love how fast and efficient scheduling appointments is at Hair bar experts. she is organized and strives for perfection. I do my hair here every weekend and have always left satisfied. Note is was hard to find the location because it seems her salon is confused with a previous hair dresser that serviced this same location but give her a call and you should be good to go. I highly recommend love my Dominican hairstylist she color corrected my hair from previous damage and errors.

    There are many Dominican salons in Tampa, but this one takes the cake! I am beyond happy with my visit to Hair Bar Experts! I called for a last minute appointment on a Saturday morning. Yissel, the owner, gave me pricing over the phone and told me I could come in with no appointment and no wait. She was super polite and personable. She offered me hair care tips and answered all of my questions about keratin treatments. The salon uses high quality hair care products and the space is very modern and clean. Please go visit Yissel for an amazing hair care experience!
