    Tampa has itself a gem in the Natural hairstyling world. I needed a good place to get my locs retwisted and found one in LocsOfWisdom. Not only did I get my locs looking fresh and new, but received an awesome shape up to go along with my styling. The LocsOfWisdom team is a truly amazing family. They greet every customer that comes into the shop. Professional, courteous, and a true one stop shop. The prices are also top notch especially for services that are so necessary.     This husband and wife duo make driving 40 minutes to get my sister locs retightened along with a clean shape up worth my drive. I love coming here because they are talented in their crafts and they treat every customer like family. If I were you I would make my apointment TODAY!

    Locs of Wisdom is great, The energy is love. Zita reattached my locs for me, she has great conversation and she’s thorough with her work. My hair came out great, better than expected. After my reattachment Lavar gave me a fresh line to complete the project. I admire and appreciate the effort and time they put into their clients, I was a last minute client and they both stayed and had great energy.

    Levar and Zita are a powerful couple. They treat me and my kids like family. I have been bringing my boys here for over a year now. Levar has an impeccable craft to do what he does, he keeps appointments, and has clean clippers. Zita loc’d my hair about 15 months ago. I consulted her several times before decided on interlocks. My hair has grown so much under her care and receive numerous compliments on my hair. She keeps appointments, using quality products, and has great service. A one stop shop for the family. P.S.-Very affordable and considering locking my daughter hair.

    Best place to go for all your hair care needs! Most places want you to wash your locs before arrival, Zita washes and deep conditions your locs. She is all about natural hair care. She takes her time with her clients and makes sure her customers leave with a smile.Wonderful family environment. Locs of wisdom is definitely the place to be and a one stop shop.

    I am a constant client here at the shop and hands down Locs of Wisdom is the best Shop in Hillsborough County. They make you feel right at home and treat everyone as family. To best describe, this shop will make you feel like your eating your favorite plate of mamas cooking.     I’ve been having my sisterlocs cared for by Zita for the past 5 years. Truly an awesome stylist. I recently moved away from Tampa and I still drive an hour and a half to have her care for my hair. None of the service I’ve received from other locticians can compare to Zita’s attention to detail and true passion for hair. If you’re looking for someone to care for your hair, give her a try! The shop is a black owned husband and wife team. A one stop shop for the whole family!

    Fresh haircut, or need your hair done, this is the place to be, been going here with my brother for awhile now and the name speaks for itself. The employees here are really friendly, family oriented, kid friendly. But tolerates ZERO BS!!! other than that, I love this place.

    I came in with some real dense natural nappy matted half dreads from just letting it grow on it’s own. I came in and Devi ( great girl, very professional, definitely recommend) got right to it and miraculously got it all separated and sectioned and completely recontructed some nice locs that I’m loving right now. She had me right in real good time, then Levar shaped my lines and beard up real nice and understood exactly what look I was looking for. Locs of Wisdom has a top tier vibe, professional staff and QUICK servicing. Devi even liked that my hair was a challenge compared to most but she killed it.

    I am a first time customer at Locs Of Wisdom & I was impressed by the hair care in their shop. Loctician Zita blessed hands hooked my thigh length locs up. Fresh wash, condition, treatment, re-twist, & simple style. Fast & efficient. Her handmade natural hair care products are heaven scent. Master Barber Lavar tightened me up with a nice temple taper hair cut, edge up, & beard trim. I walked out of the shop looking 20 years younger!
