Monica was wonderful! Came in very hesitant due to hair issues I have been experiencing- she was kind, informative & very personable. Her assistant (whose name I forgot, she has platinum hair) was a sweetheart as well.Btw I booked for a consultation & she was able to put me in for a haircut same day.I definitely recommend this hair salon.For reference, I have straight, fine hair. I was very nervous to trust someone with my hair again, and after doing a lot of research and reading reviews I came across Muse. Not many artists can work with color but Monica was able to do exactly what I wanted, she is truly a Pro. She did a color correction to get rid of the yellow and brassiness and my hair came out AMAZING and with no damage. I am super happy with the results and I’ve gotten so many complements already! On top of that, everyone at the salon was super nice and knowledgeable!

I went made an appointment here after seeing good reviews for hair color and highlights for my wedding. Ive had bad experiences in the past and had finally found a hairstylist/colorist that I love and trusted in Atlanta. However, since I moved back to Tampa, I have not sought anyone else out. I was nervous but I am SO GLAD that I took a chance with Muse and met Monica. She did an awesome job on my hair. I love every bit of it and was even more eager for my wedding day. She toned my hair color so that I would still look fresh for my wedding, which was going to be 3 weeks away. Monica gave me good and realistic consultation advice. She also was so easy to talk to. She is super sweet and down to earth--I felt so relaxed and comfortable with her. I will definitely be coming back!

I researched hair salons for weeks and came across Muse and the portfolio of before and after photos of their clients and was impressed! I called and asked for Monica and she was able to see me within a few days and I can honestly say I have the BEST hair I have ever had in my life. My highlights are perfect! The tones and depth and light are so amazing! I love my hair. The price was perfect too! Great atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

Muse is absolutely the best hair salon in the Tampa Bay Area. Monica Ponce is an incredible talented hair colorist and stylist. She did an amazing job with my hair color. I used to leave in Los Angeles, CA for 20 years. Moved here 3 years ago. Unfortunately I went to a couple of supposedly great salons in the Tampa area, but had bad and horrible experiences.My hair was damaged, yellowish color and dark spots here and there.Honestly, I was nervous because it was my first time at Muse.But Monica made me feel very comfortable.She fixed my color. I love the results.She exceeded my expectations.Monica did a double process color and conditioning.Is amazing to see my hair color that I wanted for years. Considering that my natural hair color is very dark brown. Now my hair is super blond. I love it and my husband does too!I’m definitely going back. I highly recommend Monica.Believe me, if you go to Muse your hair will look better than ever!I’m adding this to my review...I went back for my color and Monica did another awesome job!!!And she cut my hair and did a Keratin treatment .I cannot be any happier!!! I was looking for a new hairstylist and I found Monica at Muse Hair Salon after reading the great reviews on Google. My experience at Muse was awesome from the moment I stepped in. I felt so comfortable and the salon is super cute and clean. Monica fixed my hair and used techniques that made my hair much lighter in weight. She is very professional and very nice as well as the staff. I loved my haircut and I will definitely be back! Thank you Monica and Muse Hair Salon!

I woke up one morning deciding I was going to bleach my own hair. Yeah, it turned out to be a disaster. It was probably around five different colors. Super frantic about it I found this salon on google. Looked at the reviews. Saw pictures. Seemed trustworthy enough. I got scheduled with Monica the same day!!! (I was so happy about that. Seriously so convenient) well, the good reviews and pictures are definitely all truth. The people are so genuine and sweet. Monica is amazing and transformed....seriously transformed...my hair. I’m as blonde as can be with no breakage thanks to the amazing care Monica did for me! Love this place and definitely will be returning. Thank you so much muse the salon 💕💕💕 you’re a miracle worker.

I have just moved to Tampa, and needed a haircut. I read the fantastic reviews, and gave Muse a call. I wasnt very hopeful, but asked if they could fit me in the same day. I was speaking with Monica, and she had a cancellation ( perfect timing ) Entering the shop you will be impressed with how clean and inviting it is.I took a look around...one stylist !!! Monica had worked me in as a new client while she was working alone...I was impressed before she even touched my hair, As she was finishing up another client ahead of me, she offered me coffee, tea, or a glass of wine. This was literally like walking into the home of a friend.Monica did one of the best cuts I have ever had, She seemed to know my style in the brief time that we talked and I was given an easy to care for cut, that is practical day to day. After receiving instructions on how to style, along with a instructions to come back in a couple weeks if my bangs needed cut ( she said just call and see if she is in, she will do them for free... do NOT cut them myself...LOL ) I went out following my visit there, and received compliments on my new style.I have found a diamond in Tampa...thanks Monica ! The prices are reasonable, her skill is excellent, but most of all you will feel as tho you have made a friend within moments of meeting her.

Monica is an extremely gifted stylist and colorist! Therefore, when I decided to get my thick shoulder-length hair lopped off (its July in Tampa - puhleeze!) for a short, cropped do, I felt completely comfortable trusting Monica to work her magic. I did bring along some pages from magazines showing 3 different cuts - all completely different - but explained to Monica what I liked about each one. She skillfully took the best features from all 3 and combined them into a cut that is PERFECT for me! Its east to style, and versatile, too - I can blow it straight or let it air dry to take advantage of my natural curl. I absolutely LOVE it! If you are reading this review and considering visiting Monica at Muse, let any hesitation or concerns that you may have simply slip away. She is brilliant, and you will most likely be as thrilled as I am with her work!

I went to muse after my hair was burned with a bad keratin job. Monica took me in and worked on my hair. Not only did she save it but she has become my permanent hair dresser. My hair looks amazing and healthy. Would not go anywhere else. Also the Salon is very charming and the staff very Professional and sweet. Totally recommend it!!

It was my first time getting a cut and color here, and it was amazing. Monica did a beautiful job on my hair,shes amazing , she knows what shes doing and shes talented, during consultation she explained what she would do and the condition of my hair and suggested what was the best to do to my hair. She really cares about the health of your hair and shes very considerate and she was so kind to me and shes really nice and also very and so is her assistant luc, shes so sweet,and is also amazing and gives great head messages lol,they are both very hard working and professional and its a really nice comfortable salon, it feels homey and its clean. I just want to thank Monica and luc for my hair I know it was a struggle because its long and got tangled alot, but they are both amazing and do a great job. I love my hair color,my layers,its more healthy and Shiney now and overall the whole experience😊. Thank you so much❤. I will post photos soon..

I was a little hesitant about going to Muse. I am very picky with my hair. I am so glad I went. Monica did my color, I had blond hi-lights that were turning brassy , my hair looked terrible. I decided to get closer to my hair color, with caramel soft hi-lites . Monica did a fantastic job, my hair looks healthy , feels healthy. I LOVE MY HAIR. I ll be going back to Monica.

I found Muse the salon online while searching for a hairdresser who could make me a blonde! I had this long box dyed orange broken hair that was horrible! I walked in to Muse and the vibe was so homey and positive! Monica sat me down and asked me what I wanted and actually took the time to listen to what I had to say. She put beautiful highlights in my hair and explained that we will slowly get to my hair goal that I want! I love my hair so much now! I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for an outstanding hair artist!

Monica has been doing my hair for several months now, and I have always left feeling beautiful! I initially went to her because I had seen pictures on her site of what I was looking to have done. When I arrived, I gave a brief description of what I wanted and held my breath, as I have had bad hair experiences in the past. When she was done, I was so happy because she gave me exactly what I wanted, and thats why I keep going back! The color was spot on what I had asked for and the cut made my thin hair look full and thick!

I’ve been getting my hair done by Bianca for about a year now. I finally faced my fear and did a curly cut. My hair has always reached my lower back, I was so scared to chop it off but Bianca did a beautiful job with my curly cut she gave me layers and styled my curls. I have literally not brushed my hair in a week since she did it and it still looks great I love curls they are so full and the fact that my hair doesn’t get as tangled is amazing. Definitely recommend!!

Monica Ponce at the Muse Salon saved me after I totally messed up my hair color using Grecian Formula, Just For Men, one other shampoo hair color product, a color stripper AND some womens hair color product! My hair was at least 3 colors!So Monica asked me what Id like to do and I chose something lighter. I love it!I cant wait to go back a 2nd time so Monica can make it look even better!UPDATE: I went back and tried something I have wanted to do with the color for a long time. Same stellar service and expert attention. I got even more comments this time.Five Stars!

I think Muse the salon is a very nice place, and Monica is an excellent professional, she treats the clients with respect and a smile even when sometimes they dont do the same, she was cutting my hair when a lady walked in the salon, she was Monicas next appoinment and she (the client) looked really upset about something, Monica treated her nicely every single second and promised her that she would give her a new look, she cut and dried her hair in a way that the client was very satisfied and listened to her when she was talking about her broken neck and her sick mother, when she left the salon she was feeling a lot better and looking beautiful, and Monica told me that she never judges a person because she never knows what kind of problems they are having (what tells me the kind of person that she is). She gave me a haircut that I loved and made me and other clients feel very confortable

My fiance and I, are new in Tampa. We decided to search on Google for a place where she can get her hair colored.. we came across Muse the Salon saw the reviews and decided to give it a try. Well, today my fiance had an appointment to get her hair colored. We walked into Muse the salon, with her hair all damaged from being to dried from the weather here in tampa and also from my fiance, flat ironing her hair a lot. I will guarantee everyone one thing for sure about the work and wonders Ms. Monica would do for your service.. SHE KNOWS HAIR LIKE NO OTHER... I love the way my fiancé hair turned out! Not only were we satisfied with the work Ms. Monica did on my fiancé new look. But she gave us tips and techniques to up keep a healthy hairstyle. Wow! What a great salon. I was going to a family wedding and my hair really needed to be fixed from a bad cut. My husband and I found this place on the internet and they took me in on the same day I called. Once they looked at my hair they said can we color it also. I was nervous cause never been there and do not live in the area. It was the best color I have ever had. I am going on 6 weeks and it is still good. I am so scared now to have anyone else touch my hair. I have wavy hair and not sure what product they use but its the first time I can style my hair without the use of a straight Iron. Accidentally dyed my hair silver after trying to bleach it to a light blonde/ platinum color. Fortunately, I found out about Muse online and read they were recommended for hair coloring. I am so happy to find this place, Monica is very professional, the color that she use are top quality, I am coming from Pinellas county just to get my hair done, the first time I went there my hair was damaged with all the color and highlights done in my hair by a previous Salon, she study my hair, my face, the color of my skin and recommend what is the best color for me, now I kind of have to get use to all the complements I get from my friends and people that I dont even know, my hair looks healthy, I buy their products and I couldnt be more please with the results. I totally recommend this Salon, not only for how my hair looks, but also I am treat it like a queen when I am in there, and for me to recommend any place it has to be good, because I am a very picky person, when it comes to service and I am not very easy to please, totally approve, because my slogan in life is My taste are Simple, I like the Best and Muse Hair is the BEST, two thumbs way up for this place, totally worth it!
