Whether it’s the soothing hair wash, precision cuts, stunning styling, or gorgeous highlights and gloss treatments, Joshuas skillset is impressive. The way he styles my hair is nothing short of artistry.And lets not forget the shampoo head massage—its a divine experience that feels amazing and truly elevates the whole visit. Madeline K was amazing! She was incredibly attentive and provided me with such wonderful service. I was nervous about cutting length off of my hair; however, we went inch by inch, with her showing me the length after each one to ensure that I was satisfied and comfortable with taking another inch off! I loved her and would highly suggest booking with her for any of her services!

Sofia T did a curly cut a style and did an amazing job. I have two curl patterns in my hair so it can be difficult to blend when cutting but she did such a great job. It’s very even and she got a lot of definition when she was styling it. If you need a curly cut or style, definitely go to Sofia

It was my first time here for a blowout and makeup and I’ll definitely be back. My original stylist ended up being late to the salon but the lovely ladies at the front desk were able to find me someone new within 15 minutes of me arriving (I don’t begrudge the other stylist for being late, sometimes things happen!). Sofia did my hair, Jada did my makeup and both ladies were such a pleasure to chat with while I was getting my services done. I’m glad I found this place and can’t wait for future pampering!

LITERALLY SO SO HAPPY! Ive been getting my hair done by Katie Ferguson and have never left unhappy. Today I decided I wanted to make a change and brought a set of my own clip in extensions. She and her instructor color matched perfectly and made me feel as gorgeous as ever! I’ve paid 300 + at other salons for blonding etc. and never have been happy. Katie got my hair super blonde in the past and did an even more amazing job with this! I’m so happy and love her and this school. I cannot wait to follow her to her own salon and come back to summit as well!!!

ALL GUESTS coming into the salon for services: Make sure you ask for Gabi for all hair services because she is the ABSOLUTE BEST!I was struggling to find someone to get my color just right, (my hair was multiple colors when I arrived); but the shade Gabi chose and used on my hair was PERFECT! Since it was my first time to the Summit Academy Salon, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but Gabi was very personable, and easy to talk to, as well as extremely knowledgeable when it came to not only Redken products, but she even had helpful tips for me and made the process go very quickly and smoothly! You can tell she is truly excited and passionate about hair!5 stars for Gabi! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Gone here several times. They are great for hair cuts & more. I had my hair dyed red at their salon. It looked absolutely stunning and the teachers are great at giving feedback to students. Teachers check off on students work before finalizing the appointment. Every time I went here it was truly enjoyable. It took longer than a regular hair appointment would it’s a beauty school & they are still learning so it’s a compromise to make.

My experience at Summit Salon Academy was one of the best experiences I’ve had in awhile! Gabby Shusterman was my nail tech- and it’s safe to say she went above and beyond my expectations. She’s very open when it comes to working with your color and design preferences, and she’s always up for a challenge! She’s very neat and takes her time in order to make sure you get the manicure you deserve + my cuticles have never looked more amazing. Not only is she incredible at nails, she’s very personable yet professional. I highly recommend Gabby for any first-timers coming in. You won’t regret it :)

She greeted me nicely and really listened and cared about the length I wanted my hair to be cut and styled and things I didnt like about my hair. She guided me on what I can do to help with some of my hair issues and her advice really helped! Her area and tools were all very clean and her work looks very professional! I experienced a Swedish Massage with Yanaisa M and she is highly skilled. When I arrived for my appointment yesterday, I was warmly greeted at reception and within minutes Yanaisa escorted me to the massage area. The supervisor of the massage area was also welcoming. Today my experience with getting a blowout had some issues. I waited about 40 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. The shampoo water was a bit cold --stylist said the water is often too cold or too hot at the shampoo sinks. I dont recommend coming here for hair styling.

It was my first time going to Summit and Jalitza took care of me. I booked an appointment online, same day, for a root (Zone A) touch up. Im a dark brunette trying to keep up with my blonde look. Jalitza was kind, personable, and efficient through the whole process!My dark roots werent lifting to the lightness I asked for but she was determined to get me there. With her patience, diligence, and the guidance from the instructors, I have a completed pearl blonde from root to tip.My hair is healthier and silky to the touch compared to when I walked in! They used the best products and held the professionalism of a salon standard. I highly recommend that you treat yourself to one of the many services that they provide!

I had such a nice experience getting my hair done at this salon. I made an appointment, walked in, didn’t have to wait very long for a stylist and the girl, Jordan, did an awesome job! We cut a few inches off my hair and took out all the blonde and brought me back to my natural color and it looks great!. I think the whole thing only took about 2 hours and I’m very pleased with the outcome! I will definitely come back for future cuts!

Today I had an amazing face and back facials by the very best student Tatiana, she explained step by step the products she was using on me plus she provided guidance in what to do to improve on my daily face routines. Milla is truly one of best hairdressers I’ve ever met, She made me feel so comfortable and heard when I told her about my hair needs and I would never let anyone else touch my hair. She gave me the best results I could ever hope for when I had a trip the next day and I wanted to straighten my not very easy to manage hair and truly has a talent and eye for what she does. She is very passionate about learning more about her craft, and I know I will book with her in the future.

Something is different about Summit Salon Academy. Ive been going here for over two years now and when I took my daughter recently, instead of being told Most students avoid doing Black hair, two students were paired to help one learn how to do her hair without fear.This is the type of inclusivity the academy needs. Ive received hair, nails, massage and facial services here and my experience was typically positive outside of hair appointments. I too was previously paired with a student who expressed her frustration about having to straighten my 4C hair.I can now schedule appointments for my family with confidence that we will be met with positive students ready to learn and educate us about our hair. Mr. Rahmlee assisted the students when my daughter expressed the students had reached a tender spot during her recent appointment. I watched as he showed them how to delicately detangle her hair which led to a happy child. Mr. Rahmlee is clearly in his Zone of Genius, an amazing educator and when I learned he is the director, I understood why! Thank you for changing our experience at Summit Salon Academy. As always, change is good.

This is a school, so dont expect to get an A student every time. That being said, Xavier gave me a great barber cut today, and I definitely recommend asking for him while hes still at the school.The program and the teachers seem to teach well. I havent heard of any major issues when Ive visited. If you do have any mishaps during your haircut, the teachers do their best to correct any issues.

Had a mani/pedi and hair braiding appt today and wanted to give a shout out to the lovely girls who did my nails and hair. Hannah did my braids exactly how I wanted them and was super nice and good convo during the appt. Joriadna and Josie were also nice and had good convos during my appt and were super detail oriented and patient throughout the mani/pedi. And amil was super nice to show me her Instagram/braiding hairstyles. I will definitely come back and request them as long as theyre there! Highly recommend these girls and the salon/school overall, great environment, prices, and daily deals!

I have had the most AMAZING experiences with Hannah A. at Summit Salon! She never fails to amaze me with the results and you can really tell that she wants you to feel beautiful and confident! Went to Summit last year for their Full Specialist Program. I want to say that this school is amazing. Teachers are passionate and care. The education was very well-rounded. We were given instruction on everything from nails (including acrylic), waxing, and Skincare (my fave). If you put in the time and effort you can graduate with confidence and a fulfilling career.

Excellent service, great staff...obviously the instructors are doing a great job because I’ve been nothing but extremely satisfied with the work performed by the students! Tonight, Theresa worked on my daughter’s hair and she’s wonderful! Great attitude and attention to detail with very little assistance needed by instructors. I found out she’s a senior with only a few weeks left to graduate. Y’all should be proud of her! Absolutely love this place. The instructors/ professors are top notch when it comes to approving the students suggestions.And of course Nicole and Lisa my two most favorite. I feel like we are FAMILY. I would refer them both to anyone in need of a hair makeover. These ladies go to the top for me. Oh did I mention the scalp massage these ladies give, are out of this world amazing. I will continue to go to their personal salon when they graduate in 90 days!!! I went in for a haircut and style done by a student (Halie) who was guided by her instructor Vanessa! both were absolutely lovely to work with, Halie was very attentive and passionate and made me feel super relaxed. Vanessa was always within reach if Halie had a question or needed a little guidance, they made a wonderful team and I left feeling great! Very clean store, they followed health guidelines to a T, and my stylist was very upbeat and talented. Cant recommend this place and Halie enough!

Overall Im so glad I found this place! I probably wouldnt come here for a cut as I am super picky, but I had a color here done yesterday and Im very pleased with how it came out. Making an appt was easy, I didnt wait very long at all to be seen, and my student consulted with her educator before doing anything. The only reasons I didnt give 5 stars: My student was very quiet, which isnt a problem, but Im still not sure if she put just a toner on my hair or a dye, as we had talked about both and she never told me a plan. (People who get their hair colored all the time would probably be able to tell, but Im not an expert). I have long hair and Im sure its hard to wash out in the bowl, but the back of my head still had dye in it when I got home. Although there wasnt any on my forehead which is a HUGE plus. The receptionist (who was very nice) offered me a deep conditioning treatment for only $8 when I made the appointment, but I dont think that got done (if it did this deep conditioner only sits on your hair for 30 seconds), or if I paid for it. (I know, I should speak up). I was surprised that my total before purchasing a shampoo was around $60, but like I said I have long hair and they had to make 2 additional batches of color. The facility is super nice and bright, but I couldnt help but notice all of the educators seemed like they were in a bad mood, but everyone was still polite. Im overall happy with my color, but after getting home I think I see some missed spots, but Im not super worried about it. My student seemed knowledgeable, just needs to be able to explain things a little more, like when to wash next, etc. I will be coming back to this location, just make sure what you are expecting isnt anything super advanced. WOW is all I can say. From the moment I stepped in I was impressed by the facility and the speed and professionalism of everyone there. I came in for a pedicure and a gel manicure that came out absolutely perfectly (what you would expect from a salon) coming from a student! I had the same barber for 25 years. A customer and friend with the original barber suggested going here. I was a bit hesitant because I had been going to Steves Haircuts for so long and had great rapport and trust that was suddenly gone (but not forgotten 🙂). That said; I went to Summit and got a great student barber. Because of the fact that this is part of their curriculum, they take their time and take great pride in their work. In all honesty, I like being able to help students make money while getting experience. Admittedly, having had such history with my prior barber makes me want to stay with each respective student. I was a bit nervous considering I have curly textured hair and most stylists do not really know how to handle my hair type but Sierra DeLeon is the curl master!! I went for the appointment excited about getting my hair colored. When I got there I was so disappointed that the student I set the appointment with had not shown up for class that day. The other student that I was assigned to was clueless about what the appointment was for. Once everything was confirmed, I was told that my hair would not be able to be colored to the color that was discussed at the time of my appointment. Needless to say, I became very disappointed. Low and behold one of the instructors Ms. Chevon came to the rescue, assisted the student with mixing the colors with booster and got me to my desired color. I wanted to write a review because this Salon stands by their work. The owner Kathy is a stand up professional. The young lady that took care of me (Artina) top notch. The service I received was high end. I highly recommended this place. I will return
