I walked into this Supercuts after being turned away from a barbershop in Temple Terrace. My 7 yr old son hasnt wanted to cut his hair in 18 months or longer. He wants it long and calls it his hockey hair. Well, I go to a barber shop highly recommended to me and they told me to go to a ladys shop because we dont cut hair like that. I left wondering where to go for a kid’s trim. My friend suggested Hair Cuttery, but thats not nearby. I found this Super Cuts on Yelp! I walked in and it was 5:15 pm and 3 people were waiting and only 2 stylists. The one female Latina stylist (Martha?) was wrapping up for the day because she came in at 9 am. The male stylist (David) was left to attend to everyone. He was so calm and greeted everyone and chatted with people. He took his time, had great attention to detail, wasnt flustered by several children waiting for cuts and adults. He was patient when a 5 yr old boy started crying. We waited for 1.25 hrs. He was so sweet to us when it was finally my son’s turn. He noticed that my sons hair was dreaded/matted in three areas. David calmly showed me how to use a thicker conditioner to work through it. I was so embarrassed and said I wont let him comb his hair again. My husband thinks hes ready to care for it himself. He clearly isnt! David said his son has thicker, tighter curls and knows how it can be hard to care for curly hair. He was absolutely lovely and professional. My son cried because it was hurting some when he was combing through his hair. David stopped and apologized and said let him know anytime if it hurts. The shop shouldve closed at 7 pm but he finished the cut with us at 7:30 pm. It took about 30-45 mins to work out the knots in my sons hair. David was phenomenal and I highly recommend. Thank you so much for not making this a traumatic experience and your willingness to stay late with us. I’ve provided a before and after photo. His trim turned out perfectly!

Terrible service. At 10 am, I made an online “appointment” which estimated that I would be seen at 12:45 pm. When I arrived at 12:35, I was told that my stylist was running behind and to return in 20-25 minutes, which I did. When I returned, the stylists all said “welcome back!” There was someone in my stylist, Yulissa’s chair getting a haircut so I sat down waiting for her to finish. But instead of me being the next customer (by now, it was after 1 pm) someone else was ushered to the chair for hair color. “Sorry! I am running behind, it will be another 20-25 minutes.” WHAT IS THE POINT OF CHECKING IN ON LINE???? I’ve been here waiting for over an hour and I checked in for a 12:45 “appointment” almost 4 hours ago now. The “check in” ahead with an approximate time is a falacy. Worse, it is false advertising. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Anyways my last time here (02-11-22) my hairstylist Charlie did an excellent job straightening my hair and it looked absolutely amazing just the way I like it. My one issue with this place are the hours, I wished they stayed open longer hours but this place is fabulous. Will be back again.

Highly recommend seeing YULISSA to get anything done to your hair. I have never had a better experience with a hairstylist in my life (and Ive been to many stylists). My hair is untamed and love that she goes the extra mile to make my hair look healthy. She also knew the perfect, most beautiful shade of fire engine red to pick and added black lowlights for contrast and to make my hair look very vibrant, beautiful and natural. She is more than a hairstylist. She is a true artist... and my hair has never received so much TLC in my life! Love Yulissas work and will continue to see her until I die. Always extremely happy and satisfied with my results when I see her! Suggest you do too! Trust me, youll be glad you did! Thanks again Yulissa! Keep up the superb work!

This is the only place in Tampa I have found that can actually cut my hair correctly. Sheranta is the girl to see. I will only schedule with her and let her cut my hair. The staff is friendly. They are always busy so you best bet is to sign in online before you go. That way you get in and get out. If you download their app you can use it to sign in and they send you coupons like every week for different services. But dont take my word for it go check it out.

Really helpful staff....all have eyes for details..nice,clean,specious interior...have discount s for USF students...check in beforehand...will help....love their hot towel treatment....the products are pricey.. considering the advices from the professionals I dont mind though...hope they had wifi....they are worth appreciation..
