    Warning ⛔️ lengthy review. My friend Keisha recommended this shop. I immediately booked an appointment and when I searched for the address I came upon these reviews. I started to feel a little less confident. 😔After actually going I’m convinced all these negative reviews are simply people who want to deter others from going here so they can keep these amazing women to theirselves!!!! I’m not gonna lie it’s tempting to do the same. I can’t though, I have to give an honest review and hope I am lucky enough to get a seat in the future.I wish I could give them 10 ⭐️✨🌟stars because that’s truly what they deserve. I went in today and was immediately assisted. I had a personalized “consultation” to discuss exactly what I wanted and when I tell you they delivered- it’s an understatement! No corners were cut and so many little extra courtesies were extended.I’ve never understood why men spent an entire day at the barbershop but after my experience at Tetee’s I finally get it. Tetee and her sisters provided an atmosphere that was conformable and frankly fun! We all watched funny tv, sat in comfy chairs, and chitchatted while getting beautified. It was insanely busy and I never once felt like the work was being rushed. The sisters worked together to provide everyone with exactly what they wanted.They outdid the reference photo I showed by a landslide and gave me recommendations for keeping my natural hair healthy. I don’t get my hair braided often but I will absolutely go to Tetee’s when I do.

    I have been there several times. She is very good. She likes to give you exactly what you are asking for. Her prices are fair. She is quick but precise! If you have to wait she will address it with you (give you an estimate) but I have not had to wait much at all over the 3 years I have been coming to her.

    The staff at Tetees was very friendly and helpful. They were very professional and courteous. The salon is clean and maintained. Did a great job on my hair, took their time and I got my moneys worth. I get lots of compliments on my hair. Very pleasant experience compared to my previous experience at other African Braiding Salons. Definitely a place I would highly recommend.

    Edited:Yall I have been back 4 times! My hair has grown at least 2 inches since my first post. (LONG HAIR, DONT CARE, here I come!)I cant say enough good things about this salon. 1st time customer and I will definitely be back. Fast, friendly, neat, efficient. You really cant ask for more. I had micros taken down, hair washed and a sew in in about 3 hours. Crazy right!?Other ladies were getting all different types of styles and when I say EVERYONE looked good. I mean EVERYONE.HIGHLY recommended.*Oh and they have free wifi if you need it.

    BEAUTIFUL SEW IN !! I got a full head weave sew in for only $100 and it was finished in two hours.TeTe installed for me and she did a fabulous job. Usually I would pay 175+ for a sew in at a regular salon and my braids have never felt this secure. My hair is thin around my leave out area and you would never know. I cut and styled it to my liking when I got home and can’t stop playing in it now. My daughter also gets her hair braided here in knotless braids and hers turns out beautiful as well. The ladies are so polite and all have good positive energy. Highly recommend getting your sew in here not just braids. Especially if your someone who likes doing your own curls etc. The extra money you will give a salon stylist can go to better quality bundlesTeTe’s is a five star salon.

    This is the BEST BEST BEST place in Tampa Bay for sew in WEAVES and all kind of braids: corn rows, box braids, micro braids, bobs, senagalist twists, tree braids, kids styles, wedding braid styles, braids for Puerto Rican guys too! As a customer for over 7 years, I have seen her do all of these styles. My whole family goes! I will keep going back as she is Affordable, Personal, Caring, and flexible with her hours to accommodate your work schedule - PLUS, SHE IS BIG ON QUALITY AND THE END LOOK! Teetee, the owner is wonderful, with a big heart and a great listener, Julie is fantastic and fast, always smiling, the entire staff is warm and friendly. Family feel everytime I go!
