    Lauren is absolutely amazing at what she does. She helped me feel comfortable for my first-ever Brazilian wax. She was professional but also personable and helped me to relax. I cannot recommend sugar waxing itself enough. Best wax to use hands down, made it much more tolerable and my skin is thanking me for choosing sugar over other options.Laurenā€™s space was calming and it felt like a safe and relaxing atmosphere. She is clearly knowledgeable and helped me to understand the process and what was happening as she went through each part. She has the expertise of over a decade waxing and it shows. Trust me, you can trust her!Highly, highly recommend. Itā€™s the only place I will ever want to go for waxing again and I have to drive 40 minutes and over the bridge to get there!

    What an experience!!! Talk about Holistic Wellness combined with with Natural Skincare Treatment! My girl Lauren is in her own lane! I felt so safe and nurtured in her care.     Ive been getting sugar waxed at Healing Roots for over a year now, and recently started bringing my teenage daughter to get waxed as well. First of all, if youve never tried sugar waxing before, you dont know what youve been missing. Prior to meeting Lauren, I had been getting waxed with hard wax for over 20 years and had no idea a better- healthier, natural & less painful- alternative existed. Its been a HUGE game changer as sugar wax only adheres to the hairs and NOT your skin. No more skin tears or irritation, and less ingrown hairs. I cant praise Healing Roots and its owner Lauren enough. Her space is magical, warm, natural, and inviting. Lauren is kind, professional, only uses natural products and fair prices (although she can justifiably charge A LOT more). As an added bonus, shes a facilitator to a local, womens retreat that offers a safe space for women to gather, learn, share and grow. I highly recommend her and her studio!

    Found Healing Roots whilst doing a general search and was attracted to trying due to the organic and natural approach, so being good for you and being different from the crowdSo glad that I did, Lauren is highly professional and knowledgeable and explains exactly what she uses and the benefits.     Incredible!To preface, I am licensed to do facials and through school and my career in salons, I have received many professional facials. However, nothing compares to the facial I received from Lauren at Healing Roots. This facial was packed with professionalism, personalization, and intentionality. I truly felt that I received a service that was healing on a spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical level from an established esthetician who knows her technical skills.The space is so calming and peaceful, allowing you to relax the moment you walk in the door. Her natural homemade products smelled beautiful and felt wonderful on my skin. I cant finish this review without out commenting on the massage I received on my face, neck, and shoulders. Lauren released tensions and knots that have been hanging around for longer than I can remember. Her hands are strong, yet gentle and I could not be more grateful for the relief they gave me.Lauren, what a gift you have! Thank you for sharing that gift with me!

    Lauren is the best esthetician I have ever worked with. As someone who aligns with all natural and holistic skincare, itā€™s hard to find people who use 100% natural ingredients.     This was my first experience having an all natural and holistic facial. At first entry the atmosphere is very inviting and comfortable. The whole experience was relaxing and refreshing. I loved the custom blended serums used, especially an all natural cleanser/moisturizer. I purchased some to use at home. If you have not tried an all natural facial you need to make an appointment with Healing Roots.

    Where to begin? If you are looking for a facial, I have only ever had two (this being my second) so I cannot speak to that from a wealth of knowledge. I can say that what I just experienced was a COMPLETE, holistic, mind, body, spirit journey. I walked out of this beautiful little sanctuary on a cloud. I feel like all the troubles in the world melted completely away. I would (and will) recommend this experience to anyone and everyone that is looking for a peaceful retreat that also ends with your skin looking phenomenal! If youre thinking about it, DO IT!

    I found Laurenā€™s Healing Roots studio through Google, while searching for a legit body sugaring aesthetician. Itā€™s easy to find waxing studios, and those that say they do sugaring, but apply it like wax. Itā€™s challenging to find those that specialize in the art of true body sugaring. Lauren has mastered this skill! During my session, I learned about Laurenā€™s passion for organic and natural ingredients.     This was the best facial I have ever had! Iā€™m a travel nurse and came to Tampa for some R & R! The whole experience was so relaxing & rejuvenating. We started off with breathing exercises and a short meditation. The massage was the cherry on top. I purchased her Green balm, I love it so much. Iā€™m not a product junkie, but this one will make you feel like youā€™re at the spa daily. My skin is so smooth! Thank you

    I had the pleasure of meeting Lauren for a Womb Ceremony. She accommodated two girlfriends and myself for a group ceremony session, and it was a wonderful experience. Not only was the space beautiful and comfortable, but Laurenā€™s personality was warm and comforting, and I was able to learn a lot.     Lauren is amazing. I visited her for the male Brazilian sugaring. This was my first experience with sugaring and afterwards I can say I donā€™t plan on using wax again as the sugaring is so much better. I had no redness or irritation afterwards.     Im relatively new to the area and thought Id check this place out after a few too many mediocre waxing experiences, and I am so glad I did! Lauren is incredible - efficient, friendly, and professional. The space was beautifully decorated and clean. I love that everything is organic (my skin likes it, too). I also love the convenience of being able to book and pay online. Its a little bit far if youre based in Dallas but definitely worth it! All in all, great experience - I can now say Ive found my place and I will definitely be returning. :)
