    I had a facial recently from one of the students at Dolly Monroe, Lily. At first glance, she is bubbly and energetic and a smile from ear to ear. When she did my facial, she had the perfect touch and allowed me time to relax after a long day. I could tell she loved what she did. Dolly Monroe Academy is doing a great job training these future esthetician!❤️

    Recently completed the 6-month hybrid Laser & Electrology course at Dolly Monroe Beauty Academy, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with my experience.The program covered a comprehensive range of topics, including laser theory, laser hair removal, electrolysis, infection control, IPL and functions of the skin, all of which were essential to my professional development.The instructors were knowledgeable, approachable, and passionate about the subjects they taught, making the learning process both engaging and informative - and more importantly, a fun environment.The hands-on training allowed me to confidently apply the skills I learned while realizing the skills being developed, and the academy provided an excellent balance of theory and practical experience.The environment at Dolly Monroe Beauty Academy was welcoming and supportive. I felt encouraged every step of the way. Graduating from such a reputable institution has given me the confidence to pursue a successful career in the beauty industry on my own terms, working for myself.I recommend this course to anyone interested in advancing their skills in laser hair removal and electrolysis without hesitation.

    Ms Kat is so kind and amazing at what she does. She truly goes over EVERYTHING you need to know, if you are the type to get anxious easily and ask a lot of questions she is very patient with you, and will make sure you feel confident in yourself. Ms Kat has such a bubbly and sweet personality towards her students, she makes you feel super comfortable to ask any questions,concerns, you may have! She always has our backs!     Loved going here.India is a personable and passionate runner of the show. Burganndi is so kind and professional, and fun! I loved running into Amber whenever she was by; she was so complimentary to everyone. Karen was an amazing Core teacher and passes on great enthusiasm to her students. Connie is a charismatic and business driven woman who inspires all her students. Ashley is an extremely knowledgeable instructor and overall sister to the school. Love them all!     At the beginning I was hesitant to start school (Dolly Monroe Academy) because it wasn’t a we’ll know school like “Paul Mitchell or Artistic Nails & Beauty“. When I went for a tour the set up was nice and clean, and the environment was breath taking. Dolly was completely honest, she explained she was fairly new to the school industry , but teaching and beauty has always been her passion. I took the chance and can honestly say it was the best decision I’ve ever made. The class setting was small which was a bonus because it gave the Instructors The ability to help each and every student at their own pace. The transition from practice to assisting actual customers was seamless, because I had the Confidence and education instilled in me from my instructor. I already had a lash business prior to starting school, but after receiving me aesthetician license I’m know multi-skilled in the beauty/fashion Industry!! I will forever be grateful for the opportunity because my business is flourishing.

    If you ever have the chance to experience this academy, TAKE IT! It was truly an experience from walking in and out of this place. Went to the Orlando location and got a facial from Syrai. This is the second time I had a facial and the experience I had with her was amazing, I will definitely be going back. My skin was incredibly refreshed after the facial, she knew exactly what my face needed and gave me some extra tips, which was very helpful. The staff was very polite and I felt very well taken care of! The masks and massage were definitely my favorite part. If you want a little self-care and a radiant glow, Id definitely recommend it. 1000/10 experience!

    The one good this about this school is the instructors, Especially Mrs. Connie. Even though our class was rushed and we didn’t have the right amount of space Mrs Connie really worked hard to make sure each one of us learned what we needed to.     I just want to share that my experience in Mrs. Connies class has been nothing short of Amazing! She instilled a new found love in me for facials. When i started my only interests were eyelashes and makeup, and now I plan to incorporate facials into my future beauty business. I call her a little skin nerd cause I swear she find skin relations to everything we talk about and she uses all these technical terms and just gets so excited every time skin is mentioned, I find it funny and cute.     Great school, definitely do recommend it! I have attended various beauty schools in the past and I never did enjoy attending. Having Ms. Preda as my teacher was always one of my motivation to go to this school. She truly makes it enjoyable for everyone! The rest of the staff are very welcoming as well!     I had the most amazing experience and facial at Dolly Monroe. Everyone was polite and welcoming when getting ready to begin. Xiomy did my facial and I am very pleased. She was gentle and made sure I was comfortable, advised step by step what was being done all while giving me knowledge about my skin. I definitely booked another appointment and will continue to go back. If you’ve never had one done go and check then out. Book with Xiomy or any of the lovely ladies if she is booked. Ashley was incredibly knowledgeable about the products she was using and the techniques she employed, and she took the time to explain everything to me in detail.Throughout the entire process, Ashley was warm, welcoming, and attentive to my needs.     Ms. Connie is an incredible instructor! Very easy to talk to and not only makes the classroom an open floor for discussion, but keeps things fun! I have yet to have a bad experience at this school, but Ms. Connie has made it beyond lovely.I’d also like the note that Ms. Connie is not where the love and encouragement ends. Ms. Preda has such a genuine and warm demeanor. She is effortless in her teaching style and makes every room feel like home. I am beyond happy with my choice to come to DMBA! The education is premier, but the staff makes it hard to consider going anywhere else. Truly a school of gems.

    Me and my daughter went for our first Dolly Monroe facials yesterday…. Crystal Allen made my daughter (13) feel so special. She focused on her blemishes, showed her how to take care of her skin properly and educated her on why it was so important at her young age.     The BEST school in the TAMPA BAY AREA!! You actually learn everything you need to know before going out in the felid. My first day of Core with Ms. Deianna Preda really set the tone for my educational experience at DMBA. She makes the content interesting, relevant, and easy to understand, especially by getting us up and moving around and interacting with one another.     Aside from being late, my experience with Dolly Monroe Studios was great. I booked my wedding hair/makeup group 9 months before our big day and India was great with fitting me in for my trial before moving to Washington state. When her and her team showed up on the wedding day, they quickly got to work and got us back on schedule in no time. They also had fun with me and my girls, laughing and dancing! I visited the salon early morning to see if I could book an appointment and received a friendly greeting from Taylor at the front desk.     Ivonne Polanco is an amazing esthetician! My first appointment with her she provided Dermaplaning and my skin was so soft afterwards. My makeup looks so much better on my fresh skin. She was so fabulous I booked a second appointment with her.At my second appointment she provided Microdermabrasion and let me tell you when I left her chair my skin was vibrant and glowing. The service left my skin hydrated, smooth, cleared up some texture on my chin and I felt like a new person.Ivonne will do wonderful things in the beauty world !!!!

    I loved my experience attending school at DMBA!! I loved all the teachers and staff. I feel at DMBA they take their time with you and to make sure you are understanding all the information you’re learning. The hands on learning is my favorite!     I attended this school for to be a licensed esthetician for advanced services, and now that I’m about to graduate I can say that for the most part I’ve had great instructors with a lot of knowledge to share. DMBA is a very forgiving environment to learn, and you really do get the most out of your time spent there because every staff member/instructor is so eager to give students as much help and guidance we need. I’m leaving this school feeling confident in my abilities to start my career in this industry. Definitely would recommend this esthetics school.

    I had the pleasure of attending this wonderful school and recently graduated Nov. 2021 and I must say I AM SO GLAD I MADE THE DECISION TO ATTEND. The educators there are all solid in their field and are all a wealth of knowledge. They pour into you and are invested in seeing you succeed. The owner of the school is more than just a name she is INVOLVED in every aspect of your growth (during and after graduation).     Dolly Monroe is a hidden gem in New Tampa, I can safely say that not all salons are equal. Honestly, I have gotten eyelash extensions in the past, and had such a bad experience but after today they showed me how its supposed to be done. Amazing atmosphere, great staff, and even better work. I am in love with my lashes, and cant wait to get my hair and makeup done this weekend.

    I had a facial and it was great. My aesthetician Yanessa was awesome. She was very nice and professional. And at the end was able to let me know what steps I should be doing at home to keep my skin as beautiful as she had made it. I absolutely recommend anyone to schedule an appointment with Yanessa.     Ms. D. Preda is the best instructor/ Professor I have had in my educational career (over 15yrs). Ms. Preda is true to her word, she is supportive, encouraging, welcoming and always uplifting. I always left her class feeling that, I really learned something worth leaning.I have a Doctorates in Acupuncture / Herbology and other Bachelors and Masters. I have always wanted to learn skin care for personal reason and becuase od Mrs. Preda I have add skin care to my menu. I found Ms.Preda, online followed her and her reviews and was finally able to go to the school she was at, which was further away, different times then fit my ideal schedule . However, I drove the extra time in traffic on I4 and changed my work schedule (which changed my income) to make sure I was in HER class. I knew from the first day, I made the correct decision. Mrs. Preda is organized, dedicated to teach what you NEED to know and ALSO TIPS AND TRICKS of the TRADE.Now, I am thinking of going back to school, for a Full Cosmetology License and will only go to Ms. Predas class which is about 2.5 hours away with NO traffic (which we know never happens) because her knowledge and love for the beauty industry and educating people about the whole industry is just unremarkable.     The environment is awesome. Its completely different from most places I have gone to. Also, everyone who is there treats you like family. I was helped by Ashley to get my eyebrows done and dang. I have never had someone do such a perfect job on my eyebrows. She considered the way my brows naturally are and my face shape. She was so sweet and you can tell she really knew her stuff. I definitley recommend everyone to go here. Its a unqiue experience and you wont be disappointed.

    I LOVE Dolly &everything about her ! Did research on microblading for over a year. Found her shop through Groupon &did more research on her business. Everything was legit so I decided to go ahead &make an appointment ! Got to the shop &as I walked in I was taken back on how CLEAN &PRETTY it was inside. Beautiful decor &a warm welcome from the owner herself ! She was very friendly &HONEST about everything.     I graduated from this school back in 2020 and have even recommended others who have graduated here- This school will definitely teach you the beginning fundamentals and even advancements of the esthetics world. ( the only reason I say beginning is because other things comes from actually working in the field and experiencing, and continuing your education for the rest of your career). I believe in my heart that I have grown so much just from knowing what I learned from this school and it definitely prepared me for the job that I have now and love so much.
