Alexis is fantastic- not only at what she does but as a person too! I had one terrible experience trying to do this myself. After I traumatized myself I never thought I would do this again. But she made me feel super calm and while yes of course there is pain ( hair is being pulled from your body! That hurts haha) it’s not nearly the unbearable pain I put myself through. Her professional yet casual, comfortable demeanor and conversation really help distract from the process of the wax ranging from a variety of topics it often becomes a venting session most times which gives stress relief as well haha! I have been a consistent client with Alexis for 8 months now- visiting every 3-4 weeks. It does get easier/less painful and the hair much thinner/softer. My routine tends to be Brazilian, full legs and underarms! And can I just say that I love not having to shave anymore! Also recommend a vagachial that was a nice little treat for myself.Booking is super easy and convenient I usually follow the link through her instagram page. I do have the app downloaded but her IG is where I tend to go. Appts last 15 minutes-1 hour depending what services you are receiving but she is always efficient and runs pretty on schedule. ❤️

I took the the Brazilian master class mentorship with Alexis at House of Wax Tampa and could not recommend it more to anyone looking to becoming specialized in Brazilian waxing. She worked really well with my schedule. She is an amazing leader and mentor, was very motivating, and told it like it was. I like the 1 on 1 instruction as it focused on my needs and my learning speed. I felt confident by the time I did my hands. I moved into my studio right after her class and she still continues to provide guidance and clinical advice for me. She has a great attitude very patient and hands on isn’t just over after 1 model it’s until you feel confident and comfortable doing it on your own. I love the constructive feedback after each model which helped me work on things that needed a little improvement and continue to perfect the areas I was good at. Overall a 10/10 class I recommend taking this class especially since they really only go over waxing in general for like a day in school. Thank you Alexis!

I have been going to Alexis for a year now. She is the best waxer I have ever been to and actually cares about her clients. She makes the process so comfortable her wax room is so calming. She also never tries to sell any expensive products to her clients like other waxers. Instead offers advice when asked about cheap ways to deal with ingrown hairs and all of that. I also love the conversation we have during the wax whether it is a rant, a catch up, or if I just need a nice silent session. When i had gotten a Brazilian wax here, it was my second time overall getting waxed. The first time i had gotten waxed my body was literally shaking due to it being in shock from the pain. Listen. I loved it - first timer but Alexis literally made it so easy that I ended up laughing the entire time. Seriously, I laughed after every snatch of the wax. I was going to Alexis for Brazilians for a while, until I wanted to find somewhere closer to my house. I went to European Wax Center, Brazilian Beekini, and Pampered Peach. ALL HORRIBLE EXPERIENCES. Improper waxing technique, burned me, etc.I learned my lesson and will be sticking with Alexis! She’s educated and professional and I always look forward to my visit with her! She makes the experience as painless as possible and I hardly ever have issues with ingrowns the way I did with the other places.
