    I have wanting to get help with sun damage and fine lines and wrinkles on my face. I popped in here because I have been to the office before for skin cancer screening and was very pleased with the staff. I was able to have a quick consultation with the Licensed Clinical Aesthetician . It was very important to me to go with a reputable office. She was veryKnowledgeable and was able to fit me into a treatment plan right away. Her office was VERY clean and that was also important to me . I am thrilled with the results and look forward to ongoing refreshers as needed. Unfortunately, I was not good about sunscreen in my younger years . The whole staff is friendly and patient and willing to answer any questions I have.

    Basically, they saved my life. I came in for a concern on my temple, their procedure is to do a full body scan. They spotted what turned out to be a stage 2 melanoma on my back and now I am under the best cancer care in the region and have a real chance at a cure.

    Amazing Dr. and assistant! So friendly and down-to-earth. They let you ask all the dumb questions, but dont make you feel dumb for asking them. Dr. does not talk down to you and explains everything in detail. You do not feel rushed through your appointment. It was a VERY refreshing experience! Oh, and they are awesome with teenagers! If you have a teen, you just know what I mean!

    Dr Julie and her staff are AMAZING!! She’s a great listener and is professional and always happy. We love Wendy too. She’s very charismatic and makes you feel like your part of the family. The whole staff is awesome. A woman has a seizure one time and they were all out to help her until the medics arrived. They gave her full attention. That made me love them even more.     I made an appointment with Advanced Dermatology because I had a spot on my face that needed to be checked out. Setting the appointment was quite possibly the easiest process I’ve ever had for a medical office, and from check-in to check-out, I was impressed! I decided it was time for a full skin analysis, and I was seen by Robert Garrigus & Chloe. They made me so relaxed and comfortable with every aspect of the analysis, and although I thankfully passed inspection 😁, I opted to have a few tags and a mole removed, as well as the spot frozen off. Since it required numbing, I was apprehensive- but again, they both made me super comfortable and I literally felt nothing at all. Both Robert and Chloe have a way of balancing a highly professional yet casual demeanor, and I am just so grateful for that.Lauren, who checked me out, was so very sweet and knowledgeable, providing me with answers to a few questions and she even set me up for an aesthetic services consultation with Amanda next week!Thanks so much for making me at home today, everyone! You make a great team.

    Madeline Jensen Was very detailed and has a wonderful bedside manner! She explained everything in detail and made me feel calm and relaxed. Her assistant was the extract same.     Everyone at the office was happy. Went back to a room right away. Staff came in to prep me for Botox/fills treatments (lots of numbing cream). Julie took time to talk about what I wanted. During treatment, the team work well together. We had a great conversation they had me laughing, (great distraction) and before I knew it, I was done. They offer enrollment in the Allē plan that offers points and discounts for treatments. I left feeling beautiful. Thank you to the entire team.

    Office staff is courteous, organized, and efficient (always a first impression that I look at when deciding to stay with a doctor). Wait time was short for me, but this was my second visit; obviously a first visit may take a little longer. I saw NP Julie Voiselle and was very impressed with her kindness, listening skills, knowledge, and CONFIDENCE while diagnosing my issue. Side NOTE here: More NPs and Doctors could learn a lesson from her... BE CONFIDENT about your diagnosis! It creates trust in the patient! Anyway, even after she had left the room, she returned quickly to answer a question that I had forgotten to ask earlier. Very impressed with that! I did not feel rushed, hurried, or a bother. Great experience!

    I love this office! Every single member of their staff is super helpful and friendly, even when theyre busy. I saw Patel for my acne and both her and her assistance seemed to genuinely care about my situation and fully informing me of potential solutions/treatments.Even though this is obviously a place for skin concerns, the doctors care about your overall health too. They require psychiatric confirmation (if you suffer from mental illness) that you can handle certain products, and take overall blood tests to make sure youre healthy for more intensive treatments.Unfortunately, my body isnt healthy enough to handle intensive acne medication, but they still offered me other treatments in the meantime until my blood tests improve.I was just very impressed by this office overall. Happy to give them my business, and Ill be making the drive over here even when I move back to Orlando.

    The reason for the five starts is for the unusual experience (as compared to other Doctor offices) of not having to wait to see the PA or Physician. I was pleasantly surprised to be called back into the examination room on time and be tended to immediately, quickly, and expertly. The entire staff was friendly and everyone was on top of whatever function was their role. The only drawback was having to fill out the medical history form in the waiting room - it would have been better to have been sent a link to fill it out prior to the appointment.

    Hands down, Advanced Dermatology is the best. Very smart, very friendly and, very good. I made an appointment on Tuesday, got and appointment for Wednesday, and walked out with my Basil Cell Carcinoma removed in less than one hour. No messing around. They are the best!

    I was pleased they were able to see me within two weeks of making my appointment. I arrived at 8 and there were already four people ahead of me, so immediately I’m wondering how long will I be here...I listened to the front desk explain to another patient about their Medicare deductible, she was super sweet and patient. I was called back within 15m. I liked my nurse, wish I would have remembered her name, she took away my anxieties about the appointment and said the doctor will be in soon. She was right, five minutes later in came Julie Voiselle, ARNP. She was wonderful. Professional but also personable. I can’t say how long I was actually there because I never had to focus on the clock or read a magazine to pass time!

    Actually getting the appointment was a procedure in itself, due to an utter failure of spelling my name. I made the initial appointment online and Im quite sure I didnt spell my name as Dennis, so I was told I didnt have an appt, when in fact I did, just under the wrong name. Then on the phone I was booked 2 times in the wrong city. (I think this was done from a central office location.) Anyway, once we got all that straight, Julie at the Tavares location was awesome! She listened to me and was able to take care of a few minor things and one major one thats plaguing me for years. Everyone was friendly and professional and Ill definitely use them again! Not even holding the name snafu against this office!

    I have been seeing a Dr. Here for the past year. Only bc theres a lot of skin cancer in my family. I also bring my Dad here bc he has had a lot of skin cancer. They actually removed a cancerous legion from his L clavicle a year ago. They were so fantastic with my Dad. My Dad is dealing with Dimentia and is deaf on top of that. They were very good with his situation and very patient with him. My Dad goes twice a year and I go once a year. Right now my Dad and myself are skin cancer free! Yeah! 👍👍

    Very sympathetic to all my basal cell spots. They also stayed very positive. That does help everyones experience. They are professional & geared to help me slog through all the medicare paperwork painlessly. I do wish they had a handout about the biopsy procedure. It would be very helpful. It is not painless & carefree for me.

    Well, this doctor and the medical field in general have taken another step in the wrong direction to satisfy their patients....Using your new phone system, I called to schedule an appointment twice and I spoke to someone who was clueless about your practice. It took me 12 minutes (not including getting thru your cumbersome AI menu) to reach the point where I was given available appointments.You probably are going to loose patients if you dont get your new sub-contractor handling YOUR patients calls straighten out!

    This is a great group! I havent been to see a dermatologist since I was in my late teens ( hormonal changes BROUGHT ON THE CRAZY ACNE!) AND am now in my fifties. I had been to the clinic because of a nasty, itchy rash before going here and they prescribed a steroid that made a dent, but then it came back something awful and so, reluctantly I made an appointment to see them. Honestly, I had prejudged them thinking since Im not.going in for a face-lift or botox...well see how Im treated attitude.And boy, was i wrong! The office staff was warm, friendly and super professional! The dermatologist (Jennifer i think is her name!) Super great! Took a sample of the oozy mess, listened to.me whine about how I was so excited about my recent weight loss and tanned skin (we moved 6 months ago from Oregon, lol!) And gave me some good tips for working outside in the beautiful sunshine state. Within a week of what she prescribed...I wasnt itchy...within 3 weeks..I was on the mend.This is a great group of.people who know how to treat others. Highly recommend.

    I returned to the PA not the Dr because she was the person that listens and caused me the least pain for the shortest time. Both the Dr and the PA did exactly the same procedure with nitrogen gun. the distinctive distance was the way it was done The PA shot a nitrogen stream from about 3/4 inch pin pointed into the cancer growth and the after effect was substantially less painful than by Dr K. my recovery from the surgery is significantly speedier this Friday and lot less painful. My treating MD at Dermatology Group who retired put it simply you must have degree of humanity when you do this. he would stop at about 12 sites and use nitrogen in a foam cup and cotton q tip. Dr who treated me in the VA was unsuited to do skin cancer surgery and I asked for his medical license so I could file malpractice charges against him The chief VA Dr called and I refused to have him treat me the Dr he hired was a contract VA DO family practice Dr whose resident experience was part time at a private owned Miami Hospital that was charged by the Feds and likely sued for malpractice. Dr Curry who was treating me was moved further N to Ocala and at this point the only treating at my location that has shown the skill to treat my recurring skin cancer without me taking two months to stop feeling the pain in Julie . She also is using a pin point nitrogen small needle size application method I have never seen since 2001 when I did regular every 6 weeks nitrogen surgery with Q tip and a foam cup. The VA does not do that surgery and their application of nitrogen makes Annie Oakley shooter seem descriptive. For those that listen to patients with 25 years of experience in treatment reschedule every 6 weeks was a Dr note I put in my treatment notes at the VA also ignored by the VA Dr an active duty Army Capt who I filed a complaint with POTUS over treatment with and I hope he enjoys his active duty assignment in Afghanistan or Niger MASH Unit for a long time. Yes I am seeing Julie in 6 weeks for more. and I would suggest Dr K observe her pin point application protocol which evidently U of F never used when she did her residency its lots better than her method in the opinion of a experienced skin cancer patient since 1995.
