    Im not from the area, but I had to pop in and get my nails redone in between some heavy travel days. I called to make sure they could fit me in before closing, and when I arrived they knew it was me. I was sat immediately and was able to select the color and style I wanted. Steven was really patient with me and my nails and not only made sure the color was exactly how I wanted it, but also was careful with treating my hands. They even had some bracelet gifts since its around the holidays 🙂 really clean and would recommend to folks nearby!

    Julie never, ever misses! Her work is seriously so amazing. Before coming here my nails were constantly chipping and breaking, with or without dip and/or gel. I was at my wits end and came in saying if the same thing happened again I would stop getting my nails done altogether. Needless to say, I haven’t stopped returning. These are now my natural nails!!! She completely transformed my nails with her work! All the employees do great work, especially with pedicures. If you’re looking for phenomenal work, definitely check out Essence!

    I went in to see Julie for the first time and she exceeded my expectations! I’m always nervous walking in to a nail salon because my expectations are high and often i’m let down. I showed Julie a picture of what i wanted and she brought it to life with ease, speed, and perfection! I’ve never had my nails done so perfectly before and they’ve lasted a week and a half now with no chipping. I’m sure they will last much longer. Julie is sweet, professional, and talented and I will be going back very soon!

    Jesse, julie, Lynn, Steven are the BEST !!! I’ll never go anywhere else for manicure, pedicure, and eyebrows. If you like glitter polish, the way that their gel glitters layer is the best ever- I usually only get the glitter. This is the most recent time I went, I had Lynn for the first time and my hands and feet have never looked better.Julie is the best at brows!

    Im so late with my review but I went to Essence Nail Bar for the first time 7/26/24 had a pedi and nail refill and had Jimmy as my nail tech. He did a good job on my nails and the tech who did my pedi did well. I definitely would recommend this to my friends and I will go back. Thanks Jimmy

    I had a wonderful experience at this nail salon! I didn’t catch the name of my nail tech (maybe Jimmy）but he was great and really took his time to make my toe nails perfect! He even talked me through my nail color choice to make me aware of how it would look. He did a fantastic job and I will be coming back! ☺️ One of the better salons in the area. I recommend calling ahead to make an appointment as the salon can get busy. I love it!

    I had an appointment for 9:30 am and Jesse took me right away. He did a great job on my natural dip set and was quick. He even made my short broken nail look great. Also he was very friendly. Thank you Jesse!

    I absolutely love this nail salon!!!!! Great customer service, friend staff, and alway make you feel comfortable when you walk in. Julie is my #1 and favorite nail tech who always turns my nail vision into reality!!!!! The other staff is just as great!!! I will definitely be coming back to get serviced.

    This was my second time here for a pedicure, this time I brought my daughter. I got the deluxe spa pedicure, which was almost an hour long and includes exfoliating, moisturizing, and lotion massages. You get to pick a scent and hot towels are included too. I am a nurse, and this place is super clean! They were busy, but there was no wait. They offer you a bottle of water or soda as well. I will definitely continue to come here for pedicures!!!!

    I’ve been going here since i moved in September 2023. I’m so happy i found a good nail salon. They do a fantastic job! Very nice, warm and welcoming. Sophie and Luna are amazing! I always get Dip, I’ve never left feeling disappointed.

    This salon is out of this world amazing! We received such great service here. Our nails all came out beautifully, and we had a fantastic time as well. Every staff member was incredibly kind and accommodating. The French tip manicures and pedicures are so well done, as well as the dip nails. Thank you Essence Nail Bar for the wonderful experience!

    This place is amazing. It was clean, it was bright, and the service is the best. Shoutout to Lynn who was the most patient and kind nail tech I’ve ever had. She helped me with suggestions and she took the time to show me sample nails to make sure I knew what I wanted. She went through many different options and never got impatient. Jesse also did a wonderful job. They are all busy, but Jesse and Lynn paid attention to details and took the time to do things well. Overall it was such a lovely place. I would recommend this place for anyone in the Apopka/altamonte area or even as far out as lake Mary or Orlando.

    BEST nail salon in the area hands down! I always get a nail design with Julie and she has always done such an amazing job!!!! I am picky with what I like and she always listens to what I want. From the way she shapes my acrylic nails to the designs of how I want them she definitely knows what she is doing. I’ve also gone to everyone else in the salon for pedicures and everyone in the salon pays attention to detail.     Excellent/time & money well spent! I had been going to this salon (Van) for almost 3 years when the salon changed ownership in Aug. (wishing Van & family the best!) I have to be honest & admit I was a bit leary with the change but JESSE has won me over & has been doing a wonderful job with my nails. (hes a funny guy too) I like that STEVEN is still here as well. After my fresh lemon pedicure today I tried the 10 minute neck/shoulder massage & JENNY did an excellent job. Definitely will be having that service again. As Ive stated earlier, money well spent.

    It was my first time here 2 weeks ago! My mom and I had some confusion about what time we were meeting up, so I was about 10 mins late to the appointment. Everyone was so kind, said it was no problem & started my nails right away! I can honestly say it was the best pedicure I’ve ever had - so detailed and relaxing. Even weeks later the color is still holding up & I only got regular polish. I got SNS on my nails and they’ve never looked better. Just like my toes even weeks later you can barely tell they’re grown out. You can tell the woman who did them really cares for her customers. Beyond amazing service & experience and I would highly recommend!

    I’ve been coming here for 3 months and I absolutely loved it. The service is great! Julie has been doing my nails and she’s awesome. There was a bit of a misunderstanding, but I spoke with management and we were able to figure it out. Thank you for handling that with me respectfully.     I just happen to find the gem of a place one day while shopping at Tuesday Morning. The owners were so kind and meticulous with their work. Van has done my powder dip nails now three times and each time I am super satisfied with her work. The place is clean and they are in process of updating the decor. Think I have found my new nail spot. Love the name too.

    Everyone at this shop is amazing. They are all friendly and do an equally good job on all nail services. The shop is in a shopping plaza with Chick fil a and other restaurants across the street from a Walmart. I really try to get services from people who give me a good vibe so I make the drive to this shop even though I dont live close by. I just took off my long extensions and just put gel overlay on my real nails along with a design. Julie is a master mind when it comes to nail designs. Check out the different designs on instagram. If you live in the Apopka area check this spot. Make sure to call for an appointment because it can get busy.

    I have had some bad experiences other places, and I walked in and was helped by Mary. She made sure to engage me and we talked the whole time. She made an effort to make sure I was happy with Convo. She did an amazing job and I highly recommend her! She listened to what I wanted but also could tell by my prior looks things I cared about.

    Went for the SNS and pedicure last night. Lots of colors to choose from! Loved how friendly and knowledgeable the staff was. I was offered a bottle of water or something else to drink. The service was professional and of high quality. I am very picky about my nails and I have driven long distances to get quality work done before. I’m glad that I found Essence so close to my home. I was completely satisfied with the service that was provided. They went above and beyond! I highly recommended them!

    Got my nails done early in the morning. I asked if I could come back on my break at 3 to just get a gel change on my toes. They said yes, should only take 15 mins. When I came back & told this short chubbier man what I needed he said “no we are busy come back at 5” mind you they had one customer in the chair .. I said i was here earlier & you guys said to come back. & he said “nooo you need to make an appointment we are too busy” SO rudely & loud & rolled his eyes. That is when a nice lady from the back said no it’s okay come sit. She did my toes so nicely & was very pleasant. Meanwhile the man who wasn’t busy at all watched with a stank face. No one came in the shop until I was about to leave so obviously he was lying about being busy unless the other clients were late. Regardless, no man should speak to a female customer like that. Or any customers at all. He shouldn’t be in the front with customers unless he changes that nasty attitude. My nails look amazing though, that’s the only reason for 4 stars.

    VERY VERY GOOD! I showed them a pic of exactly what type of full set I wanted and they did perfect! I got a full set acrylic with gel and it was only 50 dollars . They are also super clean and clean all the stations and give you a hot towel for your nails after.

    Such a beautiful nail salon. The staff is very friendly and kind. I got a pedicure and my nails done. I had the ombré SNS service completed. Absolutely gorgeous ❤️ Some salons are notngood at ombré, however essence NAIL BAR knows EXACTLY what they are doing! 10/10 would recommend 😍
