    Before and after photos because Im so thrilled! Maria did an amazing job. My hair is super fine but even with highlights, it looks healthier. Beautiful salon. They even make it easy if you have to take kids with you!

    Amazing place! I booked a last minute appointment with Maria and she gave life back to my hair and confidence back to myself!     This was my first time at Cutting Loose and I was very happy with the experience. All staff that I interacted with from making the appointment to checking out were friendly. Shelley is everything I look for in a stylist. She is patient, fun, knowledgeable, and very skilled at her art. She listened to my preferences and provided lots of input making sure we were on the same page throughout the process. Im looking forward to returning.

    Yesenia was so niceShe kindly gave me her time in a busy Christmas weekend.She did an amazing job by covering up some brass old highlights by shadowing my root color down and toning the entire hair.She also gave me a haircut respecting the length I asked her.The best part was the hair wash with the massage 💆🏼‍♀️ I almost had fallen asleep 😴And the blowout was very relaxing too.🌱My hair now looks so shiny and natural.✨I love it.I will go back with her again.

    Emily always does a great job. Today, she was very clever by not cutting my hair too short. This way, I can have a good idea of how it looks at a certain length. I decided I wanted it shorter, but I truly appreciate that she thought about helping me be sure about it before just cutting it. She also makes excellent suggestions and tells you why she is cutting your hair in a certain way, which gives me confidence that she listens to what I want and is working towards it.

    Just delivered a beautiful arrangement to this Salon . The staff was super helpful and friendly and they were all waiting to help their customers. Great location right off University Parkway.     I have particularly difficult gray hair that doesnt take color from most brands. Goldwell has been reliable for me but only with a good colorist. I tried two in the area when I first moved here. The first person just did an overall terrible job. The color did not take. The second person did an ok job, but periodically the base at my roots would wash out a bit, leaving me with striped hair. I finally found Ella, who is a magician with color. She colors my hair a deep brown, with dark lowlights and overall auburn toner to pick up highlights. The fact that the rest of me can be a wreck but my hair looks good is why I will stick with her expertise. Here is how good she is--the salon implemented some sort of AI system to mix color, and I ended up with the stripes again after a few washes. If that was going to be my fate, I would not continue paying a colorist; I can do stripes myself. But, at the next visit, she old-schooled the mixing, corrected the stripes and my hair actually feels stronger and glossier. As someone who has worked in high-tech for decades, I know that software development cannot cover all cases. It is just not possible. I will take a human brain any day, and, for color, Ella is the best.

    If I could have scored 100 for Carly, she would have received it! I am loosing my hair. Carly was empathetic, offered me counsel, talked about hair assist with a topper, and offered her best choice of a hair cut for me. She was like food for my soul. Carly is beautiful inside and outside. She is truly a perfectionist for me and everyone of her clients. She counseled me on the best products to use on my hair. I trusted her professional recommendations. It was like a drink of water for a person who needed her professional recommendations. I don’t know how you pay or rate your stylists but she deserves an even higher rating. Hair stylist, extremely talented, counselor, educator and compassionate stylist and friend. You are so blessed to have Carly to be your employee! Never loose her! I sat in her chair and said to her, do whatever you think is best for me. That is the ultimate trust in my hair stylist!     I was delighted with todays experience at Cutting Loose! Cassianne is a sweetheart and understood exactly what I wanted / needed to have done with my unruly, curly hair!     This salon is great when it comes to the stylists and their booking website. I decided last minute to get a blow out and the scheduling process was so easy.     I had the best experience today with yesenia. I never get time to myself and it was just lovely to get out and get my hair taken care of. While I wasn’t able to quite get what I had in mind going in I was extremely happy with the result as we chatted about how it would be a process to get to where I want my hair to be. Yesenia was wonderful in explaining the best steps to get me there and took the time to listen to how I like my hair styled and cut and I am so so happy with the result.     I LOVE how beautiful my hair looks! I had extremely long, straight hair that needed major help. Carly did not disappoint! My hair never looked better. She is not only a talented hair stylist, but super friendly and easy to work with and cut my hair exactly how I wanted. I also had a deep conditioning treatment and a blowout. She did an amazing job, my color is flawless and she didn’t leave black hair dye all over me which is a huge plus in my book. Also one of the most gentle brow waxes I’ve ever experienced.     As a first time customer as a snow bird in 2019, I was anxious of having a “new” stylist. Trish immediately put me at ease. She is knowledgeable, professional, friendly and warm. She questions what exactly you are looking to have done and gives suggestions. I was so very pleased that, coming back this winter, I made my appointment before I left Virginia.Fast forward to 2021Trish is on leave, so today Aubrie was my stylist. She is very personable and professional and I felt comfortable with her. I liked the way she styled my hair and made my next appointment with her.     I have been working with Kerri to correct some problems with my color. After 3 appointments I’m so thrilled with my hair and all the compliments I have received.     Andrea made my vision for my hair a reality. I was struggling with what to do with my hair since I live on the west coast six months, where my long-time stylist is, and the east coast six months. Also, because my hair has become more white and had yellowish ends. I needed to find a stylist I could trust with my hair here in Sarasota. Andrea listened to the description of what I wanted to accomplish with my hair, observed some photos of my previous hair color, and some others I liked. She combined the perfect low lights and toner to blend with my hair color and produce the results I was looking for. I couldnt be more pleased with the final look. I will definitely be back to Cutting Loose Salon and Andrea again!

    I’ve been coming to Cutting Loose for about a decade now. I’ve gone between both locations and I love this place. Chloe does an amazing job. I shaved my head bald August 2021 and she has been helping style my hair while allowing me to grow it back out. She’s very kind and easy to talk to. I also found out about their bang service so I’m excited about that. Today was my first time having bangs since I was a child. I simply love it!

    I have been seeing Katie for about 10 years now. I never walk out of that salon with less than a stellar haircut and feeling great! Yesterday I donated my hair which meant we had a lot of room to play with what type of haircut I was going to end up with. I bring pictures, we consult and then I leave it in her hands. I trust her completely that I will walk out of there loving my new look and feeling great about it. She never disappoints.As for the salon itself, it is clean, professional and welcoming. The team is always being challenged to stay on top of the latest trends, travel to the latest hair shows with the best in the country. They offer programs and classes for hairstylists to learn their way of cutting and set them up for success. I love my day job but if I ever thought about a career in the hair industry, I would be knocking on their door!

    Love this salon! I found them after a stylist at a different salon messed up my hair. Cassianne has gotten my hair back to healthy looking (and my natural color). I was coloring myself for a long time, but since I found Cassianne, I am getting my roots done every 3 weeks. I have been very happy with Cassianne and the salon! It is pleasant and relaxing… AND they used Goldwell Elumen, which is a safer hair color. Thank you, Cassianne and Cutting Loose! I am a happy customer!

    I’ve been coming to this salon for years now and it’s my absolute favorite hair salon EVER. I’ve had to change stylists a few times because my original one left, but the ladies I’ve been with have all been amazing.I’m currently with Courtney W and she is absolutely perfect for me. She listens to what I want done (even though I know nothing about hair color) and transforms my hair into something I could never do myself. She takes her time and I’ve never been unhappy with any service, but I know if I was, she would be more than fine with fixing it.The ladies are the front desk are very friendly and helpful. I could say so many more good words about this salon, but let me just say this is the best salon in the area with the best stylists. Highly recommend to anyone and everyone.

    I’ve been coming to Cutting Loose for almost 20 years and can attest that you will not find a better experience anywhere else in their price range! My original stylist moved away and I tried a few other places only to be disappointed with my cut and color or the insane prices at other salons. Needless to say I came running back to Cutting Loose. For a few years now I’ve been with Bianca, and she is FABULOUS! She knows exactly what I like and hits the mark every time—even when I decided to cut bangs (loved it!) and then almost immediately grow them back out, LOL. She kept me sane through the whole process! Everyone from the front desk receptionists, to the staff who welcome you and wash your hair, to other stylists checking on progress, to the owner Coral are all incredibly friendly and make you feel so welcomed. Cutting loose does it right and does NOT disappoint.

    Been going to Cutting Loose for over Seven Years , .. All the girls are great, knowledgeable , stylish and Personable . However, my stylist is Lindsay and she is fantastic.     I recently switched to Cutting Loose Salon from the Aveda Salon that I had been using for years, and I just wish I had done it much much sooner!! This was by far the best experience that Ive ever had in a salon! First off, my stylist Meaghan is a true master at her craft. She was incredibly patient and actually LISTENED to every detail when I was explaining the look I was wanting. Not only did she understand what my hair goals were, she communicated a clear process on how she was going to achieve it. Once we got started, I was so relaxed and it was like watching magic in the making... seeing her so intently focused on every strand was amazing. Very easy to see that this is her art form! After that whole experience and seeing the end result of my cut and color, I was speechless and emotionally overjoyed that she was able to make my hair look that AMAZING!! It was unbelievable. She went through my hair and showed me how she accomplished every part of my detailed requests... overall shape, volume, texture, layers, the color(omg the color!), even the shape of my ponytail once I wore it up! There wasnt a detail she left out. I have found my life-long stylist,and cant say enough great things about Maeghan and Cutting Loose Salon! Highly recommend!!

    I have been seeing Cherie at the LWR location since I moved here from NJ in 2014.     Sam is brilliant when it comes to short hair, and blonde color. Shes so intuitive and really took time to listen to what I wanted. If I wasnt sure how to articulate, she took the initiative to help me explore all sorts of options. In the end - I was not only in love with the hair cut, but completely smitten with the color. You can tell when Sam is working - she is paying attention to each little detail and she truly cares about the end result. I have had my hair cut a few time since then - and each time its lovely. I highly recommend her if you are looking for someone who is comfortable with short hair. Charlene is another great hairstylist, shes so incredibly friendly - and she too - is very detail oriented. Shes another hairstylist that I suggest to people who are trying to find someone who dare to take on short hair. Both these ladies rock - and the salon also has a nice, inviting atmosphere. Unfortunately, the first salon I went to when I moved down to Florida was very strange. The girl didnt listen to what I was looking for at all - and normally that wouldnt bother me too much - except the cut she gave me was for my wedding. Im not very picky, but I was relieved when I discovered Cutting Loose. They cater to your needs - and even have a glass of water ready when I sit down. That is way more than I could even ask for.     Ive always used walk-in salons and have never been satisfied walking out. Cutting Loose Salon has been such a great experience! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. I was given a vanilla latte upon arrival which was just what I needed. I always trust Khloe to make my hair look perfect! She is my favorite stylist! Khloe is easy to talk to and always makes me feel comfortable.

    I got the best haircut Ive ever had from Victoria! My mother referred me, and I got the shampoo and trim for my long hair. I usually have good experiences with haircuts, but Victoria was the best because she made me feel like an enhanced version of myself! Usually the cut is good, but it doesnt feel like me. Victoria asked me questions about my hair routine, and she gave me personalized tips for my hair care. She is clearly skilled and kind, and my mother and I are definitely in good hands! I was just visiting from out of town, but Ill be sure to schedule another appointment with her when I come back.

    I just read a review of Kristin Luna. She is the BEST! I have followed her for years. Through all my years of chemo and a year of immuneotherapy, my hair was different each month...and Kristin always knew how to make it look the best that it could!     Kris did an amazing job with my hair! I am absolutely in love with the cut and I dont miss my long hair at all. Every minute of my visit was enjoyable and I cant wait to go back in 6 weeks for some color.     I have been with Katie for 6 years and for the past three have traveled from St. Petersburg to keep seeing her. She is just simply that good. She is also just a lovely human being with such a warm, open and kind nature. When my child was in need of a wig due to complete hair loss, Cutting Loose and Katie agreed to partner with the Wigs for Kids program. Katie also donated her time to fit, cut, and style the wig. The salon went above and beyond to allow this to be done after hours to protect my childs privacy. Cutting Loose combines the expertise, talent, professionalism and heart that you will not find elsewhere. My hair is in the best hands and it shows!

    Shay is an excellent stylist. She spent time getting to know what I was looking for..style, maintenance etc. I felt confident she would style my hair with a flattering, carefree style. When I come back in the fall, I look forward to having her cut my hair.

    Sydney has been a pleasure to have as my stylist. I have a habit of not returning to the same stylist or even the same salon after two visits because I can never find the right fit. I’ve been Sydney’s client for the good part of a year and I’ve not only been cut and styled by her but also dared to color my hair after a 17 year hiatus. Sydney’s expertise in cut and style has allowed me to not fuss over my daily hair style while keeping it practical as I frequent the gym a lot. Definitely a gem and will continue to be a loyal client.

    Kassidi is the best. Had a terrific haircut and a gorgeous foil highlighting job both with beautiful blowouts . So happy I found her 💓 My natural blonde hair has been through a lot the past couple years and Im really I have found a place that takes care of it now so well. So worth the cost .

    Today I had the most beautiful experience at Cutting Loose salon, Honore Ave, Sarasota. My operator Trisha colored my hair perfectly, but the real beauty came from her concern for me. My mother had just passed away and I was visibly upset. She offered hugs,and consideration which was totally unexpected as it was my first time at this salon. I appreciated their generosity and care. I highly recommend you use this location.

    I have fine curly hair that everyone insists should be styled into a chin length bob. Without having a vision in mind for what I hoped to look like I instead relayed my frustrations and hurdles with my hair, the climate, the cut and the way my hair grows. Shelley listened to me carefully and offered her opinions about what would work with what I have rather than trying to fight the fact that I have wavy/curly/frizzy hair and live in a humid climate. She did the opposite of everyone else and gave me face framing and shaping without taking off length or arguing with my curls. She made suggestions about how to proceed in future appointments to continue getting the style and color that will brighten and lift my face so that I look fresh. I walked out with a terrific haircut, great advice and a better attitude! Its amazing what a great stylist can do when it comes to finding the right look and style. Im glad I found Shelley and will be back in her schedule for any future cuts and color.

    Emily has such a great eye for what will look good on me and truly listens to what I want. She is a master with her color ( and blonde techniques for me) and cutting skills. She values your time and yet gives you personalized attention. She is one of the easiest people to talk and is as friendly as she is professional. Couldn’t love or recommend her more!

    I always have a great experience when I go there. My stylist Gianna takes the time and really listens to what I look for when it comes to my color. She is the first stylist ever (15 years trying to get this color lol) to hear what Im saying and actually do it. I would have pictures to show previous stylists but they werent able to do it (it is different/difficult, but there are a lot of women walking around with this color 😁). Gianna is very talented and gifted but most importantly she cares about making you happy.

    Great first haircut for me from Courtney! What a doll! So nice. So sweet. She cuts better than my stylist up North and shes been a great stylist for over 35 years. Courtney cuts like an experienced stylist. Im glad I took a chance. The entire salon experience at Cutting Loose was a winner! I was a Salon Development Partner with Aveda a few years back and I felt like the Cutting Salon experience was just as good as an Aveda salon without the price or the snobbery! I was pleasantly surprised by the massage at the shampoo station. Love Courtney and am bringing my husband. Keep up the good work yall!!!

    Sabrina is a protege at Cutting Loose. She is a lovely young lady. She listens to your current hair needs and hair goals. Make an appointment with her and mention Victoria! ;) They have an excellent refer a friend program. At the moment she is only available on Tuesdays and Fridays. Eventually she will have more hours available... I HOPE! My hair has been behaving since I had the deep conditioning treatment and cut. I have textured hair and it is damaged from over processing. We have even made a plan for my hair to achieve my long term goal. I am not a selfie person but I would love to see before and afters from your entire staff in an online catalog.

    I was going to call the salon to speak with Coral but since I have the opportunity now I will express my opinion about my service. First I would like to say what a gem Sabrina is. She was very attentive to my needs, she listened to my concerns and took the time needed to do an amazing job with my hair. It’s the best my hair has looked in over a year. The color and cut was exactly what I was looking for. She had quite a job ahead of her due to the damaged mess my hair was in. Sabrina you did it, thank you, thank you, thank you for everything.     I was greeted promptly at reception and directed to seating while I waited for my appointment. Cooper introduced herself and apologized for the wait which I had hardly noticed because I was browsing the product display. Cooper listened as I explained that I’d like to grow out my pixie and we looked at some pictures I’d brought in as possible styles. She made suggestions for a cut and style that I could enjoy while my hair grew in. I love the cut and bought one of the products she used as it did give my thin, fine hair body and volume but didn’t feel icky. We had easy conversation and all in all the experience was great. The talented stylist I’ve been seeing for 4 years at the Lakewood Ranch salon left and I was anxious about searching for another. Cutting Loose didn’t fail me, stylist search crisis averted!

    Had an awesome experience; Ive never received so many compliments about my hair cut before! I love the layout and experience of the salon. It was so relaxing to sit with my wine and enjoy! Definitely book with friends since the salon has tables that you sit at while they color your hair. You can chit chat over wine, tea, coffee and magazines!

    I have enjoyed going to Cutting Loose for a couple of years and have experienced several stylists and all of them were very good. I am now a guest of Jewels in Protege and I am always pleased with the personal attention she gives my short fine hair and cuts it, as well as uses highlights, to create more body. I look forward to my time with Jewels as she and the salon always create a special, relaxing time with quiet time or interesting conversation and coffee. Thanks to the receptionists too as they are always welcoming on the phone or in person.

    Cheyanne is not only the best hair stylist, but, also full of compassion with her clients. I had a recent knee injury and on crutches. At my appointment she made me feel so comfortable along with her assistant and I was able to get my hair colored and blown out feeling beautiful as I left! 10 stars ⭐️

    This was a great experience. We just moved to the area and finding a new stylist can be a bit intimidating. Giana overcame all hesitations for me. She was so welcoming and detailed. She walked me through the process and guided me to choosing the right style for me. Also the environment was welcoming, clean, and well-decorated. I will be a client for the unforeseen future!!

    Im very happy with the detail and time Keni takes in doing my hair. Its been stressful finding someone who I can trust. My hair is very thick and many times hairdressers leave it uneven and unmanageable. Shes been patient with my hair needs and I love what she has accomplished with it. The cut and color are amazing!
