    I brought my 7 year-old daughter to New York Hair Co. for the first time. Christine was amazing with her!! The cut was perfect and the overall experience wonderful! My daughter felt so beautiful! I will definitely be bringing her back to Christine again!

    I had to write this review right away because I had the most wonderful experience today after over a year of trying to find a hairstylist that understood my hair! From the minute walked in I knew I picked the right place! my girlfriend had recommended me to Christine and she was fabulous! My husband usually hates my haircut. I came home and he absolutely raved about it and hes a man of very little words.Christine took the time to listen to me as I was very nervous as I have unpleasant experiences since I moved here from New York.meeting Christine was like meeting an old friend. She was personable, made me feel at home and calmed my nervesI would highly recommend!!!

    Haley is the best! I’ve gotten the best haircuts of my life from her. She’s efficient, confident, and makes me feel so comfortable knowing that my hair always turns out perfect. I’ve gotten both long cuts with layers and a shorter hair cut from her and both turned out exactly as I’d hoped.

    First time visiting this salon. It’s clean and modern. They use quality products and Crystal was fabulous. She’s very good with color and we discussed my options. Her suggestions were much appreciated. I really liked the color and cut. Staff is friendly.It’s a little more expensive than what I pay in NJ but seems to be in line with the market in this area.

    Mae did my hair and she did AMAZING! She was really sweet and bubbly. She let me know ahead of time what was next for my hair and the product. Very gentle and the turn out was breathtaking. She is stunning as well. She is new and you guys should book her!

    I picked this as a new salon. I have gone there twice now and Mae did an amazing job both times. I had a cut the first time and highlights the second.     I contemplated writing a review because if I tell you how wonderful my stylist is, I know it’s going to be more difficult to book with him. Robert is an amazing stylist and always listens to what I ask for. I always love how he colors, cuts, and styles my hair. I definitely recommend him if you want fabulous hair!

    Robert from New York hair did exactly what I asked that many other places before couldn’t do for my hair. I am so happy with the results, he is a blonde professional for sure.     Today was my first time at New York Hair Co.My stylist was Danielle. I could not wait to get home to do this review. She did color and haircut for me andI can’t tell you how happy I am with the results! My hair looks so much better now! She took her time and explained everything to me and she actually listened to me and my thoughts. I am so glad that I found this place. It took me a couple years to find a good place that does good hair and to top it off the price was very reasonable for this area!!If you’re looking for someone new, give Danielle a try she will not disappoint!

    Robert is amazing! I had botched layers from another salon and he was able to blend them out so well! I was super nervous going to a new stylist after my last experience at a different salon but he put the anxiety to ease very quickly. He is very knowledgeable and honest about what does and doesnt look good as well as expectations going forward with your hair, which I really appreciate! I cant wait to get my color done by him next time!

    Friendly and professional salon that delivers great customer service at a fair price. Virginia has been my stylist for almost a year now for color and cut. She is skilled at her craft and attentive to feedback. I drive 30 minutes from downtown Sarasota to see her, and its definitively worth the trip.

    I was in search of a new stylist to highlight my hair. I was scheduled with Lorri and she did a great job! Very happy with my hair. She also cut my husbands hair while I was processing and she did a great job on his hair too. I would definitely recommend Lorri as she is very experienced!

    I loved my experience at this salon. My stylist was Nickia and she did an amazing job on my curly hair! Its difficult to find a stylist who can work with curly hair, and Nickia killed it. The salon was clean and everyone was nice. I will definitely be back, and will be recommending to friends.

    I just had my second hair cut from Rebecca . I was SO very thrilled with the first cut many months ago. Finally someone who takes a lot of time & really pays attention to detail . I am a naturally curly redhead w very porous finicky unruly hair.A few weeks ago I was talked into seeing a curly hair specialist . I was so unhappy with it . It never laid right, was boxy , heavy on top and not the right cut for my face shape.. Today I returned to Rebecca and wow! She took so so much time w deep conditioning and going through checking and rechecking the past cut layers. She spent a lot of time carefully separating , cutting and reshaping. She is VERY particular in spending a lot of time - and with me, in following the curl and wave of my hair. I’m so glad to have her again. (Moral: If it’s not broke, don’t fix it!)

    The prices and quality of services are spectacular! Making appointments is always quick and easy. Robert has been cutting my hair for a few years now. I always ask, and he always shares genuine recommendations and knowledge about everything for my thick, long, wavy/curly hair. Hes also super funny! Sorry I never gave anyone else a chance, but even if you cant get Robert in your appointment still come here first for professional service at an affordable price.     Audra has done an amazing job on my hair. I moved here from another state several months ago and Audra is the 1st hairdresser Ive worked with that totally listens to my feedback and comes up with great suggestions for my hair. I would recommend her for both expert hair cutting and hair coloring services. Shes also done a fantastic job on my eyebrows.

    Everyone can get trained in a skill, but not everyone has “it” - an artistic eye and vision. Robert has “it”.I am new in town and looking for a stylist. After trying three stylists, I found Robert.I showed him a photo of a hairstyle I liked and he recommended a slight alternative that would look better on me. He set about working on my hair and took his time, explaining how I can style at home to get the best results. Thanks Robert, I love my new cut and style.Robert is a nice guy and a really talented stylist. I’d highly recommend him to my friends.

    Im a snowbird in this area for the first time. Noticed this salon on a trip to the dry cleaners. Looked it up on yelp and people praised several of the stylists there. I was able to get an appointment with Audra and she gave me a fantastic haircut. I have short hair and am pretty picky, she listened to everything I said and I love the cut. I dont say that very often. Usually i have to go home and redo it right away because I dont like the way it was styled. Not this time!! Thanks Audra for an awesome haircut and style.

    When I came back to Florida I bounced around from salon to salon, struggling to find a stylist worth sticking with. Finally I came upon Audra and I think shes been doing my hair (cut/partial highlights) for about 4-5 years now!     Cant say enough about New York Hair and their stylists! Jaclyn Saunders is definitely the one to go to for color... she is by far the best! After a botched color job from another salon, Jaclyn had her hands full doing the repair and not only got me back to Ash blonde in only two visits, but the color looks amazing and I havent stopped receiving compliments on how fantastic my hair looks.

    I recently was forced to find a new hair stylist due to scheduling issues, so I was a little nervous before my appt. I originally booked the appt for highlights but changed my mind before the appt and wanted to change my hair back to its original color. Hannah was super nice and accommodating about the entire situation. She explained everything in detail and made me feel at ease about the process. I’m not one to write reviews, but Hannah absolutely killed it and I LOVE my new hair! I will definitely be coming back!

    Went to Robert and he truly was a Master Stylist. Got my first full balayage about 2.5 months ago and I am still in love. He took great care to ensure that I was getting what I wanted, but also not harming my hair too much. I am naturally dirty blonde so it did not take as much of the harsh chemicals to brighten my hair. I plan to return this weekend, hopefully, to get my partial done, which will help lighten it even more. After that, the upkeep is a partial balayage every 6 months, which is amazing. I would absolutely recommend this hair salon and especially Robert. He was friendly, professional, fun to work with, knowledgeable, and highly skilled. It cost around $250 after tip I believe, which is exactly what I expected, so I was very pleased. The partial balayage will be cheaper, probably closer to $180-200. I have long hair too, so if you think that price is high, remember it goes by hair length as well.

Now 8 shorter though still long, I was being ever so careful, I walked in for a consultation, seeking Robert as a result of my homework. Great energy. Received immediate consultation. He was attentive, thorough and knowledgable. Appointment within days. And voila, I walked out in 75 minutes with soft, really great hair having been lovingly restored ... by Robert.
