Getting your hair done can be more than just the physical coloring or cut. Sometimes its about a new beginning, finding your old self, or just needing to feel like you have something to look forward to. My appointment today was all of things for me and Bree took that with grace and made me feel at home. She knew exactly how to achieve the color I wanted, reassuring me I was in good hands, helping me relax.She was friendly, professional and had the experience I was looking for in a new city. She was kind enough to educate me on how to treat my hair and not just sell me products. The establishment was clean, organized and comfortable. This whole experience was fantastic and I am so happy and relieved to know exactly where I am going to get my done from now on.

Nothing short of perfect! Tori Mazzela truly gives life changing hairstyles. She gave me the first haircut I’ve gotten since a bad experience almost a decade ago so I was nervous trusting someone with my hair but she nailed the look I wanted and made me feel so confident during the entire process. She has good knowledge about how to strengthen your hair, what products work for different things and shes a joy! She explained and made recommendations along the way.The salon was great. Background: I have been going to the same stylist since 2005 in Virginia. However, my husband and I officially moved to Sarasota, and it’s not practical to fly back and forth every six weeks to see my stylist, leaving me to find someone new. I was a bit fearful of finding a new stylist because I have hair with unique attributes, and not just anyone can take on my mane.In January 2024, I desperately needed a touch-up, and Strawberry Blonde Salon fit me in within two days. I was pretty impressed because it was the middle of snowbird season then. I came in and met Victoria. She is the friendliest individual, and she listened to me (mostly complaining about my hair) to describe what look I was going for. She offered excellent recommendations, and she is a master at her craft. I walked out of the salon thinking she got my hair right on the first try (and that is not to accomplish). I had so many compliments in the days/ weeks to follow. I also scheduled all my appointments for the entire 2024 year. I knew I had found the right salon on the first try.I also love the salon- from my first visit, where they quickly scheduled me as a new client, to their efficient process. At the salon in VA, I sat for hours in a chair. At SB Salon, I am in and out and have time for coffee there. The staff is all so friendly from check-in to checkout. Victoria always suggests products that may help with my hair- I have followed her lead because her recommendations are spot on. I highly recommend SB Salon and Victoria.

Update: After getting a response from the owner, they scheduled me with a different stylist. The new stylist was able to correct my haircut and even it out. Everyone I have seen there has been friendly and professional regardless of the outcome of the haircut.I paid 85 for a bad haircut with a master stylist. Asked for layers and ended up with chunks of hair that were left behind. I wasn’t going to write a review but I feel it’s important to share how expensive this cut was for poor quality. I included a pic and you can see the left side of the photo how there are strings of hair that are longer. I’m not sure I’d call that layers… usually layers are shorter on top and the the bottom is still cut evenly.

The best salon I have ever been to! I specifically recommend Allison, she is my hairdresser there. But all the stylists there are SO talented and nice, Ive even made friends with a lot of the others, by them just passing by and striking up a conversation with Allison and I while on their way to do something. It makes me feel so at home and welcomed. No negative vibes have ever been felt here. Theyre so efficient with scheduling, checking in, making you comfortable (even in the hair washing station: theres warm towels they sometimes put on your scalp and you have a TV to watch, a foot rest, with dividers between the stations).

I LOVE THIS PLACE. Yellow strawberry is such a great place it is well organized and smells awesome. I feel so comfortable there even my first cut there I wasn’t as nervous as I usually am everyone is so nice and understanding. I have Madison and I love her so much she always does such amazing work with my hair. At the end of the cut she has me feel my hair to see if everything is good which I think is awesome bc I have layered hair and sometimes want certain sides to be longer or shorter so it’s perfect to point out anything. They also use such nice products my hair always feel so moisturized and light it’s shocking. I used to have such bad anxiety when j went to get haircuts and the people I went to always cut too much off or it’s uneven but when I started to go here they will double check everything to know exactly what you want and communicate with you on everything which I LOVE. I know when you compare prices this place is more but it’s for a damn good reason. I will never go anywhere else yellow strawberry and Madison have my heart.

I’m new to the area and I was looking for someone who could take care of my hair for the winter months when I’m here so I found candy and she was absolutely amazing she did exactly what I asked for she was super sweet very easy-going nice person to have conversation with. I’m so glad I found her and I will continue to go to her from here out. She is amazing and does a wonderful job at coloring. My highlights looks so much better than they did before. I’m already looking forward to seeing her again for touchups.

I wanted to change my haircolor, and was referred to Madison. I was visiting in the area. I have short blonde hair and I am 70.I wanted purple, mostly at the roots. Madison did an excellent job, and I got many, many compliments.She thought out the process thoroughly, and came up with the plan. I love it! I was visiting from Knoxville. Rebecca, has been cutting and styling my hair for approximately 2 years; she has provided excellent service. She is very knowledgeable, she is a listener, professional, and always cuts my hair exactly how we discussed; she meets my expectations. Not only is she an expert as a stylist, she and the staff are friendly and provide excellent customer service. I would recommend her to my family and friends without reservations

Always a five star experience at LWR Yellow Strawberry salon! Beginning from the check in desk where always friendly courteous person greet you with the smile the experience continues. I see my hairstylist Heip for several years now who is always a pleasant and professional with precise work. I do haircuts, coloring and hair treatment. He always plan each visit for each customer what is the best to avoid over process. His haircuts and choice of color work is amazing. I get compliments for the whole month after! It tells a lot of quality. My 12 years old daughter sees Cameron and she is highly professional and very pleasant young lady. I do hair treatments with her as well. Always a great experience.Prices are fair enough.Every visit to LWR Yellow Strawberry salon is positive and pleasant. I do strongly recommend this salon to my friends and anyone who desire to get their best hair!

Melanie always delights with stunning hair outcomes. She is warm, friendly and a pleasure to be around. She also has an uncanny ability to know what I want better than I do.Melanie is expert in her craft. She is knowledgeable, kind and engaging. Recently moved to the area and delighted to find, the same level of service and ambiance I am accustomed to at Yellow Strawberry.It just gets better @YellowStrawberry ! Melanie did an amazing job of creating depth in my hair. She nailed the vision I described to her. The front desk team are all amazing, and the staff give a wicked good head massage when they wash your hair. After trying other salons I finally found my forever place.

I have gotten my hair done by Allison for almost 8/9 months now and it comes out perfect every time, she’s an amazing artist. The staff is friendly and the service is great! I also have gotten my eyebrows waxed and I’ve never looked or felt better. Absolutely recommend and ask for Allison!

Wonderful experience from the moment I entered Yellow Strawberry Salon. Friendly, upscale salon with experienced stylists in an upbeat environment. This was my second salon visit. Bree was my stylist both times and I was very happy with the results. I highly recommend both Bree and Yellow Strawberry Salon!

This was my 3 rd time seeing Candy . I was originally in for a toner and when I got there I had asked her if she would make me a little lighter . She did even though she already had a full schedule she still accommodated me and did Ana amazing job . She truly is an amazing hair stylist and really knows her color . I leave to go back to my home state soon but I will come back and see her again before I leave and I will fly back for touch ups if needed . Candy is the best and highly recommend her for anyone who is looking for a great color/highlights .
