    Shelley was amazing! I felt like she was thorough, kind, personable, informative, and made you feel comfortable. This was my first massage and she made the experience so easy going and I have never felt more relaxed. As someone who gets stressed a lot, she was able to pinpoint my tension spots and provide information to help make them better at home and informing me of all of my different preventative things I can do. She was kind and thoughtful ensuring that each step of the process was explained and helped relieve years of tension. I feel relaxed, calmed, and mental clarity. Thank you Shelley for a great first massage and making it so worth it!

    This spa was very warm and inviting, I called the day before to reserve 6 massages, my family and I are here on the island for a celebration of life so it was a much needed! Jeff was amazing working with me to get us all in on such late notice. We were welcomed by Noelle and the sweet pup šŸ˜ at the reception desk and then brought back to the lounge so we could relax a few minutes before. My massage therapist was amazing her name was Allison and I can honestly say she was the best I have ever had ! I have neck and shoulder issues from my line of work and at the time I had bad sinus issues, Allison worked on my lump nodes and relived so much pressure from my face due to the infection. Her pressure was amazing and I would highly recommend this day spa!

    While in Florida, my friend and I booked massages at Spa Northwest. From the outside, the building sits in an office complex. You would never guess that such a cute spa sits right inside. When you walk in, the reception area is so cozy and inviting. And there is also a sweet spa dog, Holly to greet you. Shelly was my massage therapist and I had a 75 minute massage that ended with a foot scrub. Shelly was fabulous. She provided the perfect pressure and I left the spa so relaxed and happy. At the end of the massage, we sat back in the waiting room and had a glass of rose before leaving. This spa was such a treat and the price was great, $110 for 75 minutes.

    Today was first time here at Spa Northwest. Definitely not my last! I got a 30 minute reflexology session with Andrea and loved it! She created a relaxing atmosphere and was very welcoming.The facility is nice and clean and the front staff are professional. The vibe was great. It was nice to come out from session and not be bombarded and harassed into signing up for any membership or package like most massage places you go to. I rebooked a full body massage for next week and canā€™t wait. Iā€™m eager to try the eyebrow waxing!

    I recently had a massage with Andrea, and it was nothing short of incredible. I was dealing with a lot of pain in my neck and shoulders, and the relief I received was beyond my expectations. Andrea was very attentive and skilled, focusing precisely on the areas that needed the most attention. The pressure was perfect, and I could feel the tension melting away with each movement. By the end of the session, I felt completely relaxed and rejuvenated. It was exactly what I needed to ease my discomfort and stress.     I received a facial from Marissa and let me tell you it was amazing. So relaxing and she answered so many questions I was having with my skin and my skin care routine. She suggested doing facial cupping to help with wrinkles and I highly suggest adding that service to any facial you receive. Very knowledgeable and will definitely be back!

    I absolutely love this place!! The owners Kelly and Jeff cleaned the debris from the hurricane immediately. So we could enjoy some well deserved rest and relaxationpost hurricane. I had a wonderful therapeutic massage with Shay absolutely fabulous! Kelly has great specials every month. The spa has a warm feel. Allie the receptionist gets back to you right a a away. She is so patient and kind. The spa also has a texting option to communicate for those of us who cant make phone calls quick from work. ā¤ļøā¤ļø

    I couldnt have been more satisfied with my experience. I booked a private Spa and Yoga class experience for a Family Girlā€™s Experience. Prior to coming I requested some modifications to accommodate my senior mother and aunt. Kathleen was very helpful. When I explained my vision she went above and beyond to ensure their first time experience exceeded what I imagined. We had chair yoga, private lunch, massages, and facials. Everyone we encountered was friendly and very professional. I highly recommend a visit and plan to return in the future.

    Shelley Kroshus was not only an amazing massage therapist but a truly exceptional human being that transcended me into the most relaxed stratosphere.     Loved my experience here! I had a 90 minute deep tissue massage with Alison and it was exceptional!! She listened to what I wanted and needed and was incredibly skilled. Best DEEP tissue massage Iā€™ve had in Florida! I left feeling so much better than when I walked in, very therapeutic.I also received a facial from Elena and it was wonderful. All products were organic and felt so good on my face. If you are holistic, this is the place to get a facial. Definitely going back! And highly recommend!

    Michelle was amazing, I got surgery about a month ago today, and I came to Anna Maria Island for a short vacation. I was concerned because I have to continue my lymphatic massages on a daily basis. Luckily I was able to Google an amazing spa where I have gotten three massages by Michelle. She was very professional m, knowledgeable, and I can tell she had plenty of experience with post op care (massages) . I definitely recommend the Spa Northwest request Mishelle šŸ«¶šŸ»

    I came to Longboat Key for a girls trip with a horrible kink in my neck. I wanted to be able to enjoy the rest of my vacay, so I booked a one hour deep tissue massage with Elizabeth. As a massage therapist myself, I can tell you this is one of the best massages I have ever experienced! I vacation to LBK a few times a year and I will definitely be back! Thank you so much!

    If I could give 100 stars I would! I had a 75 min massage with Liz and she was absolutely incredible. She took her time to make me comfortable before starting and listening to all my concerns. Her tender (and not so tender) touch was exactly what I needed. She is a breath of fresh air and so good for your soul. You will leave feeling relaxed, refreshed and also restored.     We booked a couples massage at Spa Northwest during our vacation to Bradenton. The lounge was closed while we were there but the waiting area was very clean and cozy. The front desk worker was very kind and friendly. The staff was great! Our massages were perfect! We will definitely be coming back!

    I was bitten on the face by a dog in December and my plastic surgeon recommended lymphatic massage. Today I met with Liz who I cannot rave about enough. This woman rocks. I could almost immediately feel the difference after a 45 minute session. I need to go back for 8 to 12 more sessions, but I am so excited to see the change in my scar. Highly recommend Liz and Spa Northwest.

    Unbelievable experience at Spa Northwest today. We had a couples massage. I had therapist Shay and husband had Kelly. Both strong, highly skilled therapists and easily 10+. Weve had many hundreds of massages and today ranks at the top. Do yourself a favor and book here. Did I mention how beautiful the ambiance is that this spa? A treat. We will return.

    This is gonna be a long oneā€¦I spent the winter in Bradenton, and I waited until now to write the review because I wanted Michelle to be available for me šŸ˜…Michelle is the best masseuse Iā€™ve ever had. For context, Iā€™ve had over 200 massages from at least 100 different masseuses in the past 7 years, and she is hands down the best. I visited her 4 times, so it wasnā€™t a fluke. And donā€™t get me wrong, Iā€™ve had many many great massages. But this is the top.Her hands are truly like magic. She doesnā€™t follow a cookie cutter routineā€¦she finds the spots that need work, and she targets them effectively. Michelle probably revealed 10 new ā€œspotsā€ on my body that need massaged, that no other masseuse has touched before. Her knowledge is top notch. I learned so much about my muscles and tendons just by asking her questions. I genuinely wanted to take the knowledge home with me because Iā€™m afraid that no one else will ever be as good as her.The whole spa is awesome. The 4.9 rating is no joke. I booked an entire day of bliss for my fiancĆ© (body wrap, massage, and facial) and she was delighted from beginning to end. She agreed that Michelle was awesome. She also received a massage from Elizabeth who did an excellent job. My fiancĆ© was exceptionally pleased with both ladiesā€™ abilities to offer a true deep tissue massage.

    My wife and I went to Spa Northwest for a couples massage . We have done them before at other establishments but today was our first time here . The experience was incredible . From the moment you walk in , you are made to feel like part of the family . My massage therapist was Liz . She was absolutely amazing .     My spa experience at this location was AMAZING! The spa is beautiful and so welcoming. Theres even a sweet dog that welcomes you in.I had a package that included a one hour massage with a 15 minute foot scrub and a 60 minute facial.Michelle, the massage therapist is wonderful! The massage was great ! She is thorough, and the pressure was perfect! I came away so relaxed and calm.Then, Judith, the Esthestician also had a fabulous touch. She was gentle but firm. I felt so good and relaxed I actually fell asleep.I cant wait to go back!If you want ab incredible experience, go to Spa Northwest. You will not be disappointed!

    Edit to update: The owner called me directly to make it right which was a nice thing to do. It made me feel valued and that this was an out of the ordinary incident for them.Giving 2 stars because everyone was friendly, but it is unlikely I would go back. I booked with a massage therapist and they called the day before to adjust my appointment time by 15 mins which was fine. When I arrived, my therapist had changed to someone else. I was never notified of this so it really caught me off guard. While the therapist was sweet, she should have not agreed to the appointment since she was injured. I felt really bad for her and I never really relaxed through the appointment. I felt bad she was having to give me a massage and she mentioned more than once she was not fit to give a massage. She was always wincing in pain. I unfortunately did not leave this spa feeling great. I tried to ask the front desk staff why my therapist was switched on me but I donā€™t think she knew. Anyway, that was my experience. Oh and the massage was $100 for 60 mins and then a 15 min add on. On the website it gave an option, but in reality I only was offered a foot scrub.

    At the outset, Samantha greeted us warmly and professionally.Wife and I had couples massage in Feb 2023. I am a massage veteran of 25 years. Hands down (no pun intended), best massage I have ever had! Michelle works magic. Had a knot in my neck from lifting weights. She removed it but also very relaxing. She is great at applying the right amount of pressure. Wifes masseuse was Lacy. She was equally as great. Spa Northwest has got it going on. Kelly and Jeff have done a superb job. We each just scheduled another with each of them. Do yourself a favor Bradenton citizens or visitors, treat yourself to a true pleasure.

    Im an out of towner, just needed some stress relief and picked this place out of the Chamber of Commerce book. Shelley is SOOOO good. She has a very calming, soothing voice, shes very attentive, very skilled and knows how to work your muscles so they feel better and you arent sore. This is a spa not physical therapy. The girl at the front desk was very sweet too and the environment itself offers a comforting vibe.

    Michelle for Lymphatic Drainage MassageI had Lipo 360/ BBL with Wilton Triggs from Vixen Plastic Surgery and was in need of a massage. I went in post-op day 4 and Michelle was AMAZING! She had the proper setup and equipment. She gave me tips and tricks on at home care and the pressure of her hands were phenomenal! Not too hard, but precise in pushing the lymph tissues around and directing the fluid towards the areas in which help to flush them out. She wasnā€™t afraid of the drainage I was expelling from my surgical wounds. She was clean and gave great feedback. I left feeling so much more confident in my body and would definitely recommend buying the packages! Iā€™ll be following up with her on my road to recovery!Thank you Michelle

    This is Bradentons hidden gem. The spa was amazing. I was immediately welcomed upon entering and escorted into a serene waiting area. My esthetician, Lauren, promptly escorted me to the treatment room. She took the time to ask me about my concerns, explain their processes, and answer all my questions. I already filled out the paperwork online, so that was a time saver. I had a facial and waxing. The wax was especially designed for my sensitive skin. Over the years, I have been to various spas in different states, different cities in Florida, and also in Bradenton. The holistic approach was unlike anything I have ever experienced. This has been the best facial/waxing experience, I have ever had. I highly recommend it and cant wait for my next appointment.

    Rica was INCREDIBLE!! Iā€™ve had a LOT of body work done in my life and she clearly knows her stuff!I woke up yesterday with a frozen shoulder and almost no range of motion in my neck. This morning after getting up from Ricaā€™s table, I can honestly say there is zero radiating pain left, returned range of motion and an overall sense of ease (and lack of tension) flooding back into my muscles.Thank you so much for taking the time to work out my injury!     Beautiful, calming place and Amazong staff!I threw my back out on Sunday, Could barely move on Monday. Called and they got me in right away. Kelly told me her plan and I trusted her.     I have had 2 great experiences at Gallen Massage and Yoga and look forward to many more. I had a massage with Alicia that was one of the very best that Ive ever had!!!     Yesterday, I treated my mom and I to the classic 1 hr massage. My therapist, Tara, was amazing. This was a different massage then Ive ever had and at first I want sure if I liked it. I went in to just be rubbed on and feel relaxed but in addition to a massage, she found spots on body that were tender, worked them out, and stretched me. Today I feel phenomenal. I scheduled an appointment for my husband worth her for tomorrow! They had a small issue with their POS System and the receptionist (I forget her name) was very kind and said not to worry about it and they would call me with any problems. A few hours later I got a call from the owner apologizing!! Over all an incredible experience!

    Tara did an amazing 90 minute massage on me today. It was all I hoped for after moving furniture for days.     My husband and I got a massage today at spa Northwest. The experience was very nice from the time we called to set up the appointment .They helped us to get the right massage therapist for what treatment would be good for us and most helpful. I asked for deep tissue and they put me in with Juan Carlos he was absolutely amazing the deep tissue massage was very professional and he was very educated in a lot of different techniques he help me with my pain in one treatment. My husband also liked his massage and we will definitely come back.

    This place is a hidden gem. Thai massage from Kathleen is a real treat. She is skilled, knowledgeable and also just a very caring person. New addition Alicia Nolan is absolutely fabulous and intuitive...one of the best massage therapists Ive ever found...and right here in our backyard. I heartily recommend both Kathleen and Alicia..and am certain anyone else Kathleen adds to her team is going to be fabulous as well.

    When I called to schedule a yoga class as a first time client the owner Kathleen was so friendly and helpful. Everyone was so kind at Spa Northwest. The yoga instructor Linda was encouraging and super welcoming. We will definitely be returning.

    Nicole was absolutely amazing. Every time I have gotten a massage in the past I told them about my shoulder and they didnā€™t really focus a lot of energy into it. But she asked me about it, when it hurts what Iā€™m doing when it hurts, how long it has hurt, what makes it feel better and she really was able to work on it. My shoulder has bothered me for over 10 years and itā€™s been over a week since my massage and it still feels normal šŸ˜

    BEST massage of my life! Today was my first time to Spa NorthWest. I was eager to try their Thai Massage, but with no appointments available right now, I decided to go for a traditional massage with a thai foot scrub. Nicole, my therapist was just AMAZING. I knew in the first minute this was the best massage I had ever had (and I get 20 or so a year). It was clear that Nicole was constantly customizing the massage to my needs (without any words exchanged). I wish I could spend the day having Nicole work on my knots and stress. The spa and yoga studio are very clean and peaceful and the owner, Kathleen, took time to show me around and explain the membership and package options available after I expressed a desire to come back...soon. I cant wait for my next visit and trying a variety of the services they offer. This place is a gem and a must visit if you appreciate true massage therapy.

    I love the variety of yoga this studio has. The owner, Kathleen is also a massage therapist so she knows her anatomy. I used to love taking the yin classes, but my favorite part is how inviting the space is and how Kathleen always asks how things are going.     Though located on busy Manatee Avenue, Kathleens studio is a hidden oasis and refuge. The depth of her background in both yoga and massage shines through in her various level classes and bodywork. Though I have been doing yoga for some 40 years, I seem to learn something new and helpful each time I practice with her. The sequencing and variety of poses appear intuitive, but clearly she prepares the classes carefully. Her understanding of the bodys anatomy and proper alignment techniques help to keep students safe.     I went in for an introductory deep tissue massage yesterday because my neck and spine were locked up and I no longer had full range of motion for almost 2 weeks. Everyone was very nice and the atmosphere was pleasant and tranquil.My only complaint was the massage was painful for me and when I let my therapist know she apologized, but didnt let up on the pressure at all. Its why I only have them 4 stars, Ill reserve judgement until Ive tried a relaxation massage instead. I have sensitive skin and my muscles were so knotted that I expected it to be a little painful and today I feel like Im bruises. Though I have full range of motion in my neck for the first time in over a week and most of my knots havent returned.I want to make it clear that Im not knocking the therapist for being in pain right now. I did some research and its not uncommon to be sore after a deep tissue, especially if you dont drink enough water to flush the lactic acid from your system. I didnt know what to expect going in, so I wanted to post a review so others understand deep tissue is not to be taken lightly.

    I play a lot of tennis and for some time had been contemplating a massage to deal with muscle tightness in neck and shoulders -decided this was the time and started checking around on-line. Liked what I saw at Spa Northwest a lot and booked a Deep Tissue session. My therapist, Tara, was awesome!Most of the massage just felt great and was very pleasurable and relaxing. But given my tightness, there were a few moments of deep tissue -and I mean deep!!- needed as well. Ive had massage before, so knew what was coming! ;) Taras skill was evident and I was able with complete confidence to just breath into and through the brief moments of the greatest intensity. And man was it ever worth it afterwards! (by the way, please dont let what Im saying worry you: I had told Tara in advance about my background and what I wanted, and during the massage I sensed she was reading my bodys feedback and knew what I could take and how deep she could go with me.)Afterwards (and still), there was a sensation of cleanness in my body, an underlying relaxation and spaciousness -is how it occurs to me to say it. I noticed the next time I got on court the difference it made in my movement, my ground-strokes and my serving!The facility was aesthetically pleasing and clean, all the staff friendly and welcoming. I love it that they also offer yoga with meditation, for there is just a great energy in the place. I will definitely be back for another visit the next time Im in Bradenton! Thank you!

    Lovely experience at Gallen Massage. A gentle welcome from the front desk and the serene botique ambiance set the mood for a much needed relaxing afternoon. I had a wonderful massage with an added Sheffali facial. Loved the massage and products so much that my next massage is booked and took home my own orange blossom mosturizer.     My fiance and I recently both had a massage by Cameo from Gallen Massage and Yoga. It was both of our first times, and let me tell you, it did not dissapoint! The level of professionalism and technic was awesome. Cameo made me feel extremely comfortable and relaxed. She did an hour on me first and then an hour on my fiance and was able to keep up her stamina and do the massages to there fullest potential.
